    Sonic off Rochester in North Topeka. Unfortunately, after waiting in the extreme line yet no rudeness or complaints from this end, the girl at the window didn't appear to care how she represented Sonic. She showed EXTREMELY poor customer service (no smile, greeting, kindness, eye contact, or follow through, and rude behavior)! I asked for a receipt and extra napkins yet she forgot when handing my change, so I asked a 2nd time and she said okay. Then I received the remainder of my order, but she forgot both again, so I asked again (#3), and I got the receipt. I then had to ask for part of my order which was forgotten, and the napkins again, and when she came back with the order...still no napkins. I tried to ask again, but she was quick to be done with me and the window closed. I waited thinking she might have been grabbing them real quick, but no, she pulled her cell phone out as I stared while she continued to text on it(didn't look up for even a second). I was floored and it just wasn't worth even mentioning again. She clearly was more concerned about whatever was on the other end of the phone than to perform her job, or even pretend to care that we are helping pay her wages by supporting sonic. This generation needs to get a clue into common courtesy and job performance! I hope she simply had a really bad night, and maybe she gives decent service when she's in a better mood?!? Worst service!

    The new sour patch kid float is amazing!! Just the right amount of sour, watermelon, with enough ice cream to balance it out! Please keep this treat all summer!!

    They close all the carhops at 9pm and then you need to use drive thru. Three cars in line can take up to 30 minutes waiting for food. I got me the chili dog, it was not cooked, still cold. Don’t go here. The wait is long and the food is not cooked good. This location needs a full overhaul on owner, management and staff. Again, don’t waste your time here.

    I caution anyone who goes. The consistency of the service varies so much it is ridiculous. Sometimes it can be good/decent other times like now it is utterly worthless. Not only have they messed up my order by not actually giving me what I ordered but even when taking my order they stopped taking it before I could finish, which at the moment I am actually happy about because they not only charged me for someone else’s order (which they did refund although I can’t use that money for a few days now) but I am 100% certain they would have gotten that rest of the order horribly wrong. I am so fed up that I am not coming back, and I caution everyone to be careful if you choose to get food from here.

    Not my normal spot but, I was in town for a family fun day and this place was the closest to grab a bite. Food was served hot, tasted great, and was fresh. The only reason I didn't give a five star was because they forgot an item in my order. I was able to quickly visit with a server and get the missing item in no time. The parking lot was easy to get in and out of and very spacious.

    Car hop was surprised by the tip I gave her. Made me feel really good. The other thing is it teasted a whole lot better then the sonic in my town.

    We stopped to place an order for take out. We get there and learn they have system problems and can only take online Sonic app orders. No big deal, I pulled up the app and ordered. Within a reasonable amount of time, a carhop appeared, rattled off the order, handed us 2 large shakes and a small bag of food. That would have been great, except we had ordered 3 burgers, chicken strips and 4 medium sides and it was all supposed to be in that little bag. The carhop was gone before we could ask, "where's the rest?" We pushed the button and let the voice know we were missing about 1/2 our order. They quickly found bag #2, brought it out, and we were on our way. Once home the next disappointment appeared. While the burgers were right and looked decent, the chicken strips were small and barely edible. The onion rings looked like they were the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. There were a few whole tots, but most were tot tidbits. The mozzarella sticks that are usually good were under cooked, so the batter was like raw grease soaked dough and the cheese was tough. The food was far from acceptable for what we spent and certainly not the quality we used to get from Sonic. It will be a long time before we order from this Sonic again and always check your order before driving away!

    Visited at lunch time, pretty busy. Right away noticed a young man, Shaheen, (Sorry if I misspelled it). He has great hustle and attitude. My burger wasn't quite cooked all the way, he took it back without any sass & brought me another one, cooked better. Treat him right Sonic or someone in Topeka will to snatch him up for bigger and better purposes! We'd hire him but we're from out of state. 😉😊

    Food isn't as good as it used to be. I got a chili dog with not much chili. Staff not real friendly or accommodating. I used to know all the car hops. Now I don't know any of them, so a big turnover in employees it looks like.

    Ordering on the app offers a lot of great deals. Just sucks to have to pay through the app with credit card. Also there is no notification if you do order from the app and what you order is unavailable.

    Sonic NW Hwy 24 Topeka.Something is going wrong at this location. Browsed the menu online, made our choices and went to the drive thru to place our order. Attendee stated they did not offer what we wanted. Went ahead and ordered something close. Paused and studied menu before pulling forward to the service window. The items we wanted were clearly on the menu. Discussed this with window attendant and he again said items not available. I told him the menu states otherwise. He said he'd check on that like I am some kind of moron that can't decipher a fast food menu. Used to be on any summer night this place would be packed with cars lined half way around the property. Not so much now. Maybe others are noticing something is a bit off here.

    Seems food is lacking warmth lately. So we go out the way to a different sonic and warmth of food and presentation is by far better. Hopefully this one will too

    It was horribly cold so that could by why the customer service wasn't as good as it could of been. Wait was about 10min for a chicken sandwich meal and they weren't busy make of it what you will. The food tasted fine. It was not fresh so that wasn't the reason for the delay. I'm guessing it was the cold? It won't stop me from returning if I have to. At least I was able to use the app at this site as many of the others in close proximity I haven't been able to and just won't go at all instead. That is why I rated it just average!

    Carhop was friendly. Outside was clean and well kept. As for the actual making of our breakfast burritos, I’d never order them again. Cheese wasn’t melted, eggs were over cooked and they wrapped it so tight it was about 3 inches long. I was very disappointed.

    The employees are lazy and they take 30 minutes just for a drink also don't get thicken or it will make you sick. Nobody washes their hands here and they can't listen to directions sorry excuse for an establishment.

    Weekend of July 30, 22. Sonic Rochester, North Topeka. Not sure what’s going on short staffed or what. Went to the stall. Waited over six minutes just to have someone respond and when they did it was very abrupt; as if I’m wasting their time. I tried killing with kindness at least the carhop was pleasant. Two days later on a 100 degree day went thru drive thru to order slushes for the kids. Car in front had been waiting and I had waited 8min behind them. I even yelled out to the driver if they’ve had a response: driver said nope nothing. Communication goes a long way, at least I’m sorry for the wait we’ll be right with you. Something please. Just ignoring is not cool. Went to McDonald’s instead. Too bad love sonics shakes and slushes.

    Generally good food and all, but my last visit to the N. Topeka Sonic was a joke and a fiasco. Was not happy with the place on that particular trip. To me, they are poor at making their mistakes right. This wasn't my first issue about Sonic.

    I think you all need training ,everything on my order was wrong!!!! My sundae had no topping,my tots were cold and my rt 44 limeade was a med..I did have the gal take back tots for some hot.and she brought back french fries and they was COLD..word of mouth is the worst is great advertisement.Dont Eat Here !!!!! I've got stories! Uuk

    This has been the worst experience I have encounter at any fast food restaurant. My wife and I order 2 fountain drinks and a shake for $13 and waited nearly 20 minutes for drinks. However, when our order arrives the lady gave us only 2 drinks that were not what we ordered. We informed the lady that a mistake has been made and the items provided were wrong. Without a care in the world the server then proceeds to shrug her shoulders and say “my receipt says you order was only $3, you will just have to order again if you want a shake”. We explain how we paid $13 for all of the items we ordered and that it already shows on our bank accounts through our mobile banking app. The server then stated “well I don’t know, you can just order again I guess” as she turns around and walks away. I am truly amazed with the customer service training at this location. When a customer expresses a concern in regards to their order being messed up, are the employees trained to ignore the customers concern? We ordered and paid $13 for drinks and a shake and was only able to leave with 2 incorrect fountain drink and $0 worth of customer service training. Thank you Sonic.

    Food all tasted great. They gave us 2 cranberry sprites although we had only ordered one and the other person had ordered a cherry limeade. Still not the biggest issue in the world though. We definitely are regulars and will come back again soon!

    One of the better Sonic locations I have frequented in the last few years. Relatively clean lot and parking spaces. Fast, congenial service. Ordered a Supersonic Double Cheeseburger, a chili cheese coney, chili cheese tots and jalapeno poppers. My correct order showed up in a timely manner. No mess ups. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and hot. Can't really ask for much more. Definitely recommend.

    Terrible cold food. Didn’t get some of the food. My drink had a weird taste. My chili dog was more like chili jerky. Lots of money for a very nasty dinner. Never again.

    Extreme long long for after 2pm on a Saturday. Order was wrong, but didn't want to take to mess with it. Only wanted 2 cheeseburgers, so how 3 were ordered. French fries were salty (& I like salt) you couldn't eat them (it was like would you like some fries with your Salt, gave them at drive though window, to get new ones. Ordered diet cherry limeade with "Lite ice", it was Full Of Ice, gave it back into the window also. Save your time & money wouldn't stop here......orders wrong, don't follow instructions. ☆☆Only thing good was the bacon cheeseburger it was good.☆☆ But not worth the headache to get it.
