I keep going there cause it’s THAT good. Fast and friendly service, good tradicional german food and very reasonable prices. Plus there’s a smoking and non smoking area, and an open space in summer. A 100% would recommend it!

I had the Sülze (headcheese) served with rémoulade sauce, potatoes and salad, and asked for a small serving of Grün Soße, a Frankfurt specialty. And of course Apfelwein. Everything was absolutely amazing. Truly local.

I love this place. Btw, they have the best Wiener schnitzel and Apfelwein in Frankfurt!

Typical and traditional Germany restaurant, you can have some hand cheese as appetite, schnitzel main dish, side with local made Apfel Wein, also the decorations and atmosphere are also great and let me enjoy the time and meal here!

We went there to taste german food, the waiter advised us with our order and translating, he was very nice. It was great we really enjoyed it. I've tried to go back but you need a reservation in advance. 100% recommendable

Till now it's the best place to have a good German meal that I've been in Frankfurt. The waiters are very nice and the food delicious. I recommend the "Jagger Schnitzel" or the "Schweinhaxe". Even though is not my favorite food, I've tryed the "Grüne Soße" and it's very good. A very Frankfurter dish. And if you are already there, the "Mispelschnaps" is something you have to try.

A reference in Frankfurt. A must to go restaurant for those experiencing Frankfurt either for long or just few days. Schnitzel is one of the main dishes and you have to try it out.

Apfelwein Solzer is an institution in Bornheim. They have giant portions, and several drink options. Parking is a challenge, however it is close to the north entrance of the U4 at Bornheim Mitte. The Pfifferlinge Schnitzel is wonderful and on offer during late summer, early fall. Service is quick and efficient. The tree in the middle of the garden makes dining a really special experience. Good for groups, make sure you make a group reservation.

It's really hard to choose a proper note for this restaurant. Food was very good, it's true. Shnitzel was nice and salad was a positive surprise. I would like to add maybe there some potatoes (portion was big, but still I felt that potatoes would be a good match there). Anyway the problem was staff, one of waitress there was so mean to me without any reason that it was hard to belive in her behavior (in her opinion I was choosing too long what I want to eat?! ). Also we've made an reservation but staff lost it and put us on a table between other people, it was crowdy and uncomfortable. Anyway food is a plus but other things... P. S. Local 'Apfelwein' is really soft... And there is nothing interesting in taste...

Good place with tasty food. Local cuisine and drinks. Usually crowded, but the service is good. Could be more bright and cleaner. Smoking should not be allowed in the garden.
