Love the atmosphere at this restaurant! We walked in around 1730 on a Saturday with no reservation and luckily we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the fresh bread and aioli. The grilled shrimp was also good but I didn’t really care for the spinach side dish. My companion had steak stuffed with goat cheese and that was really delightful. Rosemary potatoes were delicious also. English friendly. Credit card payment accepted.

The restaurant is in a very accessible location and easy to find. The staff is very friendly and some of them they speak English The food quality is very good and the meat cuts are delicious. The tapas of course are great specially if you go with more people because everybody can share and try different tapas. We enjoyed the time we spend with delicious food and good music.

We waited more than 20min after we got the menu but No1 seemed to want to take the order. The servíce was slushing around at minimal speed. Talking here, talking there, standing around, talking a bit more with each other. The waiter didn't use the electronic order system, just on paper, so as long as he was not going inside the order can't be started. The food came quite fast, so no complains there. Buuuut he forgot 1 dish. He knew there was one more because he said the bread will come with it after he brought the first plate, but the kitchen didn't know because he didn't put it in the system. So after I was done eating, the dish finally came after we reordered it with a different waiter. Overall the food is fine.

Food quality is worse than a dodgy street side food. The chef doesn't care about customers as he/she knows customers will keep coming no matter what. I had ordered salad with grilled beef. Are carrots so expensive in Germany? They julienned spoiled carrot as can be seen in the attached pic. Most of the pomegranate was squished bad. Parts of the grilled beef was charred into coal. The soup had stone grits in it. Disgusting 🤮. We will never go there again.

Thank you very much for the greatest food experience, when there is a team event I always booked a table here and never regretted. Food is amazingly delicious and everyone is very pleasant. It is super crowded though, book a table via calling before coming 👍

The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere outside was really nice even with the hot weather. Missing one star because the service was extremely slow for us. I don’t know what it was but people before us got their food and drinks well before we did. Still, I’d go back again to try different items on the menu.

This review is mine from ten months ago and I'm revising it to 1 star because of two very unpleasant events that happened. The first inexcusable thing, about six months ago, the store's service staff pranked each other by sprinkling a handful of salt on the hot slab, and at that time, like a firework, the exploding salt popped into my eyes, burning blisters on the inside of my eyelids and my face. The second incident happened today, I ordered a "Tomahawk Steak", the iron plate was too hot and burnt the meat, it was black and had a bitter taste. I asked the waiter to replace it, and the waiter was very rude and asked me to pay the bill, and then told me not to come back. This restaurant is right below my apartment, so I dine here weekly and tip no less than 10 euros each time. If they don't address this problematic staff, I'm sure this restaurant will close soon.

Really tasty tapas and steaks. The personnel could be a bit more attentive, but the food quality compensated for it! I can highly recommend the Tapas of Chef's choice.

I was once again in Buena Vista. This is my fourth visit to the restaurant and this time around my opinion change a little bit. I still think it's a good restaurant. The Stake with feta cheese inside is incredible, and we order this everytime. For the first time I ordered the Lamp main dish (which is the most expensive of the main dishes) and I wasn't a fan of it. It didn't taste as I expected and I thought it was over priced. The rest is pretty okey. Drinks are nothing special and the brownie dessert is avoidable.

Buena Vista has nice weekly lunch specials. My meal was delicious. Soup, salad and entree for $20 euro

I went with my friends, we were all satisfied. For a mixed menu of meat and drinks we paid 80 euros, for 3 people! I think it's a very nice place, the food is very tasty, the staff is quite kind. I recommend!

Close to the panoramic tower of Frankfurt and beside the shopping area in the city, there's this quite good Spanish style restaurant. Dishes are the ones which are referring to the Spanish tradition like tapas, grilled steaks, and many more solutions. The service was pretty rapid which was highly appreciated, and the food quality was pretty good. Prices are acceptables, considering as well the general price level you can find in Frankfurt.

Lovely cosy place downtown Frankfurt. Try the tapas for two and you won't regret it. Quick service considering how crowded it is. We were also lucky to find table without reservation, but I recommend to book a table ahead.

Last minute reserve table 6:300’ for 4, we can sit outdoors. We ordered two steaks with potato, chicken fajita, mixed olive and cheese, surf and turf, mojo potato, sausage tapa, 5 alcoholic drinks, and two water. Totally just over Beef was nice! And the mojo potato is so good! They also gave you a pretty big glass of wine. They were pretty busy, but the waitress was very attentive, and we had a great evening. Good place to go again.

It was an incredible experience, very good positioned in the city, with an interior that is very unique and beautiful, and the most important from my point of view is the food that is simply the best, but be careful: the portions are very large so... don't eat anywhere else before visiting them 😁!!!

I arrived 1 1/2 hours before they closed and didn’t know what to expect. First the night started with a mojito, which the bartender made with just the right amount of everything. The drink variables complemented themselves, beyond amazing to say the least. Then I ordered the stake with potatoes the food presentation was interesting, the stake was served on a hot plate with different sauces and salt/pepper served along with it. Delicious, I’m impressed with level of attention and effort. A definite must if your in the local area.

Absolutely delicious food. My meal was cooked extremely well, had delicious flavor, and filled me up! The prices are also decent for the quality and portion size. Our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive, and also helped provide several recommendations.

Amazing steak! Well aged, very soft. I felt guilty while chewing on the bone to get all that was left.... Place is full of locals, so you know it's good.

Exquisite. The food, or more precise the steaks were really nice. They arrived on the cooking trays still sizzling. All the juices can be used with bread that was given. The side dish salad was also pretty cool, only the pommes is a bit tiny. The price is actually pretty good, it is not super expensive. A great price to performance! The restaurant is beautiful and has rustic interior. The staff was friendly and welcoming despite the fact that the restaurant was full.

Very good stake. Excellent meat. Prices bit over average. Location very easy to access in the frankfurt down town and next to Zeil. Jumeirah Hotel is 1 minute away.

While I was staying Residence inn by marriott in Frankfurt. windows view. of course that restaurant Buena Vista? Steak was so delicious there. hot plate made meats as I want to cook rare or medium. I recommend hotel and restaurant in FRA downtown.

They have very friendly staff, but also staff who don’t seem too interested. Steaks are great as well as fried meat foods. but the rest of the food is bad. Burger very bad, better pastries can be found in any bakery. I have been there many times because my husband loves steaks.
