We drove to Marburg from Frankfurt. This is the McDonald's of steak houses, a chain with low quality with expensive prices. Very disappointing that if you want quality and service, it is not here. It was understaffed and under trained. My wife ordered the 180-gram steak and side salad with apple schorle. The apple schorle didn't have any seltzer in it and weren't cold. So a Coca-Cola was ordered on its place, and it came with a dried out lemon in the glass. Steak came medium rare, with blood running out. Took steak back and returned with a hot plate as if it were put in the microwave. It was still blood runny. Had to show the waiter what a medium steak is supposed to look like from Google images. Finally, they returned with a medium steak but thinner and tougher. I ordered the BBQ brisket. The brisket came and was covered with BBQ sauce. The brisket color was totally off and was in strands like roast beef. The BBQ should be on the side but this was to cover the low quality brisket. 2 large beers and soda the bill was 66 euros. Update- someone within this business complained to Google about my post. This business has done this to others. as with the post, there's a receipt. The next only step they have is the notorious German court. Even in Germany, you are supposed to be able to post the truth with evidence. Sad, instead of saying they'll do better, they resort to this. 😆

One of the worst services i have ever experienced. Food quality was unstable. Asked all steaks to be medium rare, but one came out rare and the others unevenly cooked. People who came in after us had finished their food even before our food even came out. We waited for an hour just for the food to come out. With that kind of price point and popularity, they should have uphold a better kind of service. We have complained about the duration but they didn’t even apologize or explain why it was taking so long. We understand the the place is busy but what doesn’t make sense is how a lot of people kept getting their food and drinks first eventhough they arrived much later. It shouldn‘t matter if the place is busy or not, the restaurant itself should have been prepared for it seeing as it is not new to the industry.

TOURIST TRAP We have wanted to try Maredo for a couple of years. I told my wife before we sat that it's looking like a tourist trap and I was not disappointed. We both took a burger. First warning was the burger is now coming alone with no side dishes due to the rollback of the VAT. (Back to what it was before COVID). When being asked about how our burgers should be cooked we said medium and well done. My well done was like caoutchouc and the medium from my wife was well doneish. Plus the burgers came like half empty l, one salad slice, the buns were super soft. As a side I took some sweet potatoes and they tasted like lavender. We both didn't finish our meal. (And we were starving) During our stay, around 1h, 3 waiters lost their platter, drinks were on the ground. It was overall an unpleasant experience. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant at all. I hope this review will help the restaurant to correct and adjust. Feedback was kindly given to our waiter as well. Also, as a side note, the value for the price is definitely not worth it.

Steak wasn't cooked the way we wanted. For a 40€ steak (side dishes not included) you would expect that they know how to do it. The waiter spilled a plate of food on my colleagues and didn't excuse him for that.

Under-rated place! Food was fantastic, and really amazing service (which can be rare to find in Germany!) Pricing is also fair, highly recommended and totally going back in the near future!

Nice decoration with some view. However, food was not good. Tomato soup was weird and not like tomato soup. Nachos was horroble for the price we paid. Sweet patatos were pre-cooked and came as warmed up. Thanks god we didn’t try steak.

The service was not good. The meet was good but it came after 45 min. And it came undercooked from what I order.

Came here on Valentines day. Service was terribly slow and it seemed they were understaffed. Food was mediteer at best and all courses were strangely served at once so my starter and main course came at the same. Not sure if i would ever go back here

The steak is good, but not out of the ordinary. A bit overpriced. Good wine selection.

Really nice visit. We had the Rib Eye and Chicken Burger. Both really nice. Relaxing meal with friendly service. Desserts and coffees finished the meal lovely. Great elevated views from this first floor steakhouse.

1 star for the hardworking cooks in the kitchen. But, the rest was a disaster. Waitress gave us the tightest table in a hall full of empty tables. Sticky table tops, impolite staff, drinks lacking a steakhouse feel, food which took over 60 mins and cheap quality of food gave me no choice but to give 1 star. Our order was also delivered wrong. For no reason the waitress added to our already a served portion of fries, more fries for extra charge. Schnitzel was served dry, side of salad were a few leaves with balsamic sauce. My order of steak cut into strips was served on a hot potato - never asked for it. As a Family of 4 we left hungry and disappointed.

The service was a little slow, but well worth the wait. I had a stake that was cooked to perfection. All the sides were tasty, and we had a wonderful time.

Classic steak house where you can enjoy excellent meats. A valid alternative to typical German specialities. By eye, the weight of the steaks seems less than that indicated on the menu. Price around 30 euros per person.

A very nice restaurant with amazing outdoor area right in the centre of Frankfurt. The food and service were good as well and the prices are reasonable.

If you want to eat steak then don't hesistatant anymore, you should go MAREDO. Then you cannot fail^^

Outstanding experience! Saturday early evening (~ 18 o’clock) three of us came without reservation, immediately got a cozy table! Service was fast and friendly, our waitress was speaking two different languages since we are an international group! As for steaks - classy! We had flank, ribeye and tomahawk, all three cooked to desired temperature, juicy, seasoned! Sides add a nice touch. Couldn’t resist a chocolate lava cake as it was recommended by our waitress - no regrets! Perfect touch to the dinner followed by a cup of espresso. 10/10 for the visit

The beef brisket was amazing. Great service and a really cool spot in the centre of Frankfurt.

Great place, we walked in with no reservation but were offered a 2-person table by the window view of the hauptwache! There is a salad bar, we ordered a one time fill, but there is an option of open bar. Grilled plate for 2 was very good.

We booked a table from the website at 21:15. We received our food and drinks, but at 22:00, the waitress came to paid, we didn't already finished our meal, she took up our plates. I never had a service like that ! If you want to finish at 22:00, don't accept reservations after 21:00. VERY BAD SERVICE !!!!

I had a meal with seasonal soup which happens to be lintel soup but it was really cold at the bottom . They are really understaffed and waitresses were really nice but they are over exhausted. In terms of food it was below average.

One of the worst experience after dining. I was there last Saturday 03.09.2022 with my wife and son. Ordered "Spare Ribs" for myself and a chicken Burger for my wife. My son ate Nachos and pommes. The Nachos came first. It was so dry and lifeless. The ready made packets we get in REWE is far better than that. First disappointment. Then came my Spare ribs. Not even pleasant to look at. But, I ate 3/4th of it. It was not juicy. So dry and not looking fresh. Then we came home. On the way, I had FOOD POISONING. My head started spinning so fast. Somehow reached my garage and asked my friend to take me home. As my wife was holding my son. Then came home threw up the whole night the last bit of food and water in the body. Next morning woke up my body was completely dehydrated. Went to ÄBD care in Höchst was admitted for couple of hours. They gave some nutrition in infusion. Took all the tests. And after couple of hours i was sent home. I am writing this review on Tuesday as only today I am feeling better. Still having a light pain in the chest from all the vommiting. LESSONS LEARNT : Some restaurants look authentic, bio and offer fresh homemade food. But don't go by the looks.. Avoid such places or atleast avoid eating MEAT from such places. They clearly gave me an expired MEAT. though the place looked classy and rich from outside.

It's not very fancy (by steakhouse standards), but the service was friendly, and the food was solid. Mind you, I was pretty hungry. I'd come again, in a pinch. I had the ribeye (200g), and it was plenty tender. Fries and corn w/garlic butter.

The steak was well liked by my friend, though it was ordered medium rare and was served rare. My burger was another story. Medium became well done. It was dry and very dense. Atmosphere is clean and modern, but a bit bright and boring.

First floor steak house with pretty good sitting space. In down town, it's a good option who wants sit in groups and enjoy the Dinner in closed place

Very good food and great service! Do recommend the bbq Burger 😊 Do not recommend sitting outside because you can get unexpected things in your food (bird poop).

Very nice place, Staffs are very friendly. You can find also Kids Menu. Prices are not bad in center of Frankfurt. Burgers were very delicious.

Child friendly steak restaurant. I really liked the steak I had mine medium rare with a side which was so delicious too, definitely worth a try!
