I love it here. It's always beautiful (when there's not trash) and the water is always cold/cool and refreshing. Definitely a good place to go if you just wanna have a water day. No big fish, I've never seen snakes, and the water doesn't get super deep except in the middle, so its also great to bring your kids. One thing I will say is when the water is high (after it's rained), the current gets very strong so you need to be careful not to get swept away and keep your kids or anyone who is weak or can't swim well in your sight.

My family has created many memories here. We enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing here! Please if you visit, clean up after yourself and family. Never a good time when others have trashed the place or your kids get hurt on broken glass.

I stayed the night and slept in a hammock near the river. I had a small fire and cooked some trout. Beautiful place to wake up. The game warden woke me up in the am but he just checked my Id and told me to leave. I also helped pick up some trash while I was there. God bless!

Went out there after going for years got truck towed and a trespassing ticket for standing on the bank

It was a nice quiet peaceful experience of river and nature and the beach was nice as well!

Nice view of the river but definite signs of partying drug abuse etc. Go during the day. Looks like a great fishing spot.
