This has to be one of the worst hospitals open. I wouldn't recommend this place to a animal. Please don't have questions or concerns about what's really going on with your health or the health of a love one because the answer will be null and void or useless. Customer service, I refuse to get started. The Nurses never changed the board so I never knew who was my mother's nurse. When pushing the nurses button the nurses would never come in to assist with anything or introduce themselves. It's like a ghost town on top of a hill. How do you have RN's who can not answer any questions, CNA's who just working to get paid and ratchet nursing students with no compassion for the patient. Doctors!!!!!! Security guards, cafeteria all a hot mess

In September my mother came to this hospital and never came out. In the early morning hours of overnight on September 7th my dad, my sister, and I after receiving the fateful phone call showed up. As we arrived we received no sympathy from Roxborough Hospital while we were and still are devastated of our loss. They would not even give my sister and I a chance to say a final goodbye to our mother because they said due to the pandemic only one person could go in the room. Totally unacceptable and dead wrong on this hospital's behalf. I do not care that we were in the midst of a pandemic. How dare they not let my sister and I come to the room to see our mother. I did not speak out on this at the time though looking back on it I remain disgusted about it today. It makes it seem as if staff could not even display slight sympathy I guess due to the "pandemic". Shame on this hospital! Offering condolences matters, in the toughest of times people remember it. Being stoic upon this as they were was a cardinal sin.

I had a recent visit at this hospital for an ultrasound. Normally I would’ve gone to Jefferson but my obgyn told me to just go here since it’s closer. First mistake. Everything was fine until the tech took me into the room and introduced me to her student. BROOKE GOLDEN. She has the nastiest attitude I’ve ever encountered and she needs to really humble herself!! She didn’t say hi or anything. Just looked me up and down and stared at me. Then of course I asked for her to leave because it’s already an uncomfortable experience without the extra attitude from a student. I found her social media and the hospital should really take a look at it. She posts some questionable things at best. I’m sure she’s treated other patients this way just based off how she acts on social media. She should really be let go. Once again her name is BROOKE CLAIRE GOLDEN!!!! About 5,2 blonde hair, kinda fat and a horrible attitude! Can’t miss her!

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. BE READY WITH A LAWYER TO SUE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS. Bridget told me that my finance doesn’t have hipaa rights because he’s on state parole. This woman is the case manager supervisor… and lied right in front of us. Told us that she’s spoken to me several times. She spoke to me once. Said what she said then said this conversation is over. When he asked why she never spoke to him… her response was that she was under the impression that he couldn’t speak for himself since he has a power of attorney. Then contradicted herself and said that he doesn’t have a power of attorney. I said yes he does. It’s me. I tried again to give them the paperwork and she wouldn’t even look at it. She said she doesn’t care. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Almost every staff member that has worked with him should be fired. Yvonne odd wonderful though. If I could give her a review all for herself… she would get a five star. That woman is a saint for even being able to work for such a treacherous hospital as long as she has.

I can’t speak for the whole hospital but please stay away from their ER! They are terrible they do not listen, I was severely dehydrated they didn’t even give me iv with fluid then I went back a couple days later because my symptoms were worse! I was put in a room separated from my husband. This is the third time I went and had a horrible experience. I don’t care if I am about to die I will never go here again. Please go to a different hospital! Even the doctors are rude and will tell you “oh I don’t specialize that.” Please stay away, especially if you are black!

Would give zero stars, if possible! Came in for Kidney stones... 1. The emergency room was completely empty, but I had to wait an hour (with excruciating pains) just for someone to walk in the room. 2. The nurse took my blood when I told her 5 times that I do not consent (I had bloodwork done 2 days prior and know hospitals tend to up testing, for financial gain). 3. While in gut wrenching pain, I continuously had to press the call button and no one would come...at one point I clocked 45 minutes! AND during those 45 minutes I did not see even one other patient enter (so its not like all hands were on deck). In fact, a group of workers were laughing and having a great time outside of my room and I had to physically yell to get someones attention! I would rather travel an hour away, then to ever step foot in this hospital again... Go anywhere besides here.

After going to the emergency room at Roxborough Memorial, I was told that I needed to have an operation. I was admitted right away and scheduled for an operation a few days later. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of care given to me. The entire staff work collectively and were very thorough and pleasant. The doctors and staff were also very diligent before releasing me after my operation. There are other area hospitals with higher profiles, but I am grateful for the quality of care shown to me. Thank you very much.

My friend came here with severe pains in her stomach and lady parts right before shift change, not only did it take them an hour to do the ultrasound but also never told us the results from the blood work done at the very beginning (almost 12 hrs before) and they barely kept up with her results period. Very disappointed in their treatment and their lack of professionalism. Definitely not gonna recommend them to anyone close to me and not gonna come back here.

I had to just leave the emergency room …., I got to my room in the back it was just sold dirty!!!!!! I have never been in the ER that dirty before!! There was hair on the sheet that I was about to lay on blood on the floor.. And the nurse was acting like nothing was wrong.. So I politely got up and rejected!!! And the whole kicker to all of this is that they’re not even crowded!! I had an open wound, so I definitely was not getting that. Checked there for it to get infected.!!! PA hospitals have to start doing better!!!

I went in for an ultra sound at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Check in was seamless. The techs were excellent and everything was explained to me. The one tech was s student which i approve of…teaching, as I am a retired teacher. My privacy was honored. The results came back swiftly. i will continue to use them ax the need should arise.

I had the best experience here at Roxborough Hospital. I was treated in the ER. While all the surrounding hospitals had 6 hours wait, I was being triaged and roomed within an hour. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and caring. It’s rare you see an ER full of workers all with great attitudes. I will recommend this hospital to everyone. Great service!

I have to say that even though the pain I was in at the time, which brought me into the ER @ Roxborough Hospital was very excruciating. The immediate care that I received made things much better. It was my first time ever being there. The wait time was reasonable and not extensive. The staff from the front door was kind, caring & professional. The nurses & doctors were the best! They kept me abreast of all that was being done & spoke to me with clarity as well as making me feel like a patient and not a nuisance. I was very satisfied with the care I received and if ever I'm in need of their services again, would not hesitate to go there. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one. No complaints, just praise.......

Absolutely horrible experience Had the miss fortune of needing care from this ER. 01/02/2024 @ 7am i basically was an inconvenience to the stuff because it was shift change yes I brought in to room quickly but was forgot about I was there for a rapid heart rate that was triggered by a pain crisis do to my spine falling apart. So after some time past the day shift nurse finally came in she took my vitals and called the Dr apparently I was not worth his time he asked if I was sure I wasn’t pregnant I told him NO I have a high heart can we please do something he rolled his eyes at me he walked out of the room so did the nurse at this time an ambulance came in the gentleman that was brought in was put next to me that fine he need treatment too his care was no better. But after 18 hours of begging for something for my heart rate I must add I completely complied with this Dr he ask for a CT w/contrast dry & MRI that I need anxiety medication that was a joke with this Dr still nothing for my heart rate still in the 160’s long story short NEVER GO HERE

This is the second time I have taken my wife to the urgent care at the Andorra shopping center. On both occasions the facility was very clean, the staff polite, friendly and efficient. Both physicians we saw were excellent. They took detailed histories, performed thorough physical examinations and were considered in their judgments. Both doctors consulted current medical literature and, on the first occasion, with her treating specialist, before recommending treatment. They took time to explain the medical issues. On top of that, they were caring. Kudos.

Unbelievable that I even feel the need to write this. Unfortunately for us this is the nearest hospital to our home, and this is the first place any of us are brought in an emergency situation, but the staff do not seem to care why you are admitted, they're just focused on pushing you out as soon as they possibly can. And we're really expected to trust these people with our lives...

The one day surgery team were very professional and very nice. The nurses couldn't do enough to satisfy your needs. They were very helpful and attentive. The warmed blankets were especially nice!! Even the two front desk clerks were friendly and pleasant, putting a nervous patient at ease. I would recommend highly this place to anyone who needs a one day surgery procedure.

Not the friendliest bunch at the Check-in desk at the Emergency room. Came in at the beginning of the month with what turned out to be Heat exhaustion, but with The fear of covid-19 I wasn't taking any chances and when I tried to explain this to the clerk at the front desk she rolled her eyes and sarcastically said "I'll let you explain that to them"........lol I could give a name but I'm not gonna go that far, all I'm going to say is "RH" you've come along way in Improvements in resent years! Still need to do some work though 😉

I should sue for mal practice after my experience at Roxbury Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room. On a Sunday morning, I slipped on my bathroom floor and went to Roxbury Memorial because of the close proximity. The emergency room was quiet but I still waited over an hour to see a doctor, who's first words were "I don't prescribe pain killers so don't ask..." When they X-ray-ed my arm, I vomited from the pain the technician was so rough. When I offered an insurance card they were noticeably surprised... And the cherry on top - Roxbury Memorial read my X-rays UPSIDE DOWN and misdiagnosed me with a broken wrist instead of a broken elbow. I was properly diagnosed and bandaged by my orthopedist a couple days later. Now that I know the area, I know to go to Lankenau.

I went to Roxborough Urgent Care, not the hospital. The staff was very caring and attentive. They asked all of the right questions and treated me with compassion. I was seen quickly and never felt rushed. Definitely one of my best urgent care experiences.

This ER was absolutely disgusting. It looked and smelled as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. Doctors and Nurses did not file proper protocol as I was never ID'd, and doctors mistook me for another patient more than once. I was in the ER for over 24 hours, and ended up seeking help from another facility as this hospital cared more about sitting on their phones than helping patients. Please seek care elsewhere and avoid this facility if at all possible.

The treatment I just got there tonight just shocked me and I would never step in there again. Not only did they just rush me out in five minutes but the staff was upset I did not have time to shut the bathroom door as I rushed in to make it to the bathroom to vomit. Since it was no one there no tv no machines going you can hear them talking about me not shutting the door but if I did not make it and it was over the floor then I wonder what they would have said then.

I came in for a physical and bloodwork, I had a smooth appointment the staff were nice and professional. Big shoutout to the nurse Lynette, she was very sweet and patient. She was required to take blood from me and due to my little veins she made the procedure comfortable for me. Literally one of the nicest and most joyful nurses I’ve ever had in my health history!

I missed my appointment with my primary care doctor, was turned away from an urgent care, and decided to head to the ED with my health concern. I didn’t want to wait for 2-6 hours at Jefferson, HUP, or Temple so I decided to check out Roxborough. Turned out to be a great decision. I was able to find parking in the ED parking lot, there was no one in the waiting room, security, reception, the RN, and doctor were all receptive, attentive, and helpful.

My primary did not submit one of referrals, but Casey the receptionist called and called until she was able to get them to sumbit it. She went above and beyond. The staff in the Radiology Department we also wonderful. Two thumbs up.

Don't bother going to the ER, they won't care about figuring out what your problem is, just how fast they can send you back out. Wanted to make an additional comment, but they will severely overcharge you alongside improper and negligent care. Please for your own health, do not go to their Emergency Room.

I was in emergency and not from the registration desk to the back patients waiting or when the nurse or doctor came in contact with me. Did they show any concern about my symptoms of a bad cough & a sore throat. So when my throat culture results came back. My friend informed me he tested positive for Covid-19. Every one who waited on me never ask me if I even got the vaccines. Or came in contact with someone who has Covid-19. So the doctor who is supposed to care about patients never gave me a lead to go get a test for Covid-19 he said I don’t know anyone or any place that I can recommend. Jan 2 around 8-9 am at this hospital wow. Why is this hospital even open???

I've visited the hospital three times so far and never had to wait very long to be treated. Everyone was very friendly, willing to answer questions, to explain why they were doing what they were doing. I never at any time felt uneasy or fearful of what was happening. The members of the staff who gave me my shots were very competent. In the past I've been very reluctant about getting shots, but the staff who administered the shots were great.

Urgent Care in Andorra Shopping Center has been a very caring and helpful place for me. The staff is professional, polite, caring and always helpful. I was treated well, for the most part. There was a delay of concern when I pushed for services. It seems to me that more staff needs to be hired. I must commend the kitchen staff. The cooks more importantly, did a wonderful job. My daily meal requests were honored and the food was very good. My only complaint was that decisions were being made by a head or lead doctor about me. Yet, he or she never showed themselves personally to me to talk over my case or situation. Inspite of my repeated requests, I never saw or spoke to this person. Overall, I had a good experience at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.🏥 🏨

I wish you could rate 0 STARS! I have never , ever wrote a review…. But with the experience I had tonight I have to… I sat in the room waiting for 2 hours!!! And it was empty ! There is absolutely NO privacy in this hospital. The doctor or nurse or whoever it was (since they don’t introduce themselves either)… that was in my room was EXTREMELY loud while talking to me in the room with the door hanging wide open and the Er being EMPTY and with someone sitting right outside of the room! They told me that nothing is wrong me when I am CLEARLY going through an issue that I explained in depth. My symptoms didn’t indicate that something isn’t wrong with me and we BOTH know that……… while sitting in the room the nurses and whoever else sit at the desk and RIGHT OUTSIDE OF PEOPLES ROOMS and talk on the phone loudly and joke with eachother like if this is a day camp!! That’s why I was waiting for so long for something so simple…. NEVER will I ever return to this hospital and I would never recommend anyone to come here. Worst experience I had in my life when it comes to health care.

My uncle is rushed to the emergency yesterday. As you all know dealing with the relative that’s in the hospital especially the emergency room can be a stressful however ; the nurse he had was so attentive and nice. Her bedside manners were the best. Thank you Natae for your kindness and your bedside manners.

I had one of the absolute worst experiences of my life in a ER last night. SO BAD TO THE POINT THAT I NEEDED TO WRITE A REVIEW. I went into the ER last night with bad chest pains and the Nurse Erin Jones was theeee absolute worst nurse I ever met instead of listening to me and being empathetic she asks me if I’m a nurse why didn’t I know to follow up with my pcp after I had chest pains before… then she proceeded to tell me that the doctor will not see me I can leave the hospital 😡 after this I was livid I demanded to see the doctor and a nurse manager

ER experience. Unprofessional, was asked triage questions that the nurse proceeded to answer herself. PA came in and told me I was being transferred without explanation and then left the room. Never saw her again and wasn’t transferred. The only staff member that made me feel comfortable was the male ICU nurse that worked in the ER that day.

Was seen quickly, and all the staff/nurses/doctors were super kind and helpful. I really appreciate how the doctor who saw me was very friendly and knowledgeable. Best bedside manner I've ever encountered! I was able to get diagnosed and treated quickly, and luckily my issue was minor enough that I didn't have to do additional imaging but was told that if I was really concerned about it they could. Would recommend!

I searched YELP to find reviews of best Urgent Care near us…and this office in Andorra was highly rated! We went on a Sunday. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The nurse got us in quickly and was also great. I can’t say enough about Dr Dietrick…he was thorough and professional and compassionate. He treated my daughter as if he was her primary doctor and did the necessary tests and sent us off with follow up instructions. It was a great experience, and exceeded any previous urgent care visits we’ve ever had! I highly recommend!!!!

I came to Roxborough Memorial Hospital for the first time this weekend when I experienced my first migraine. From the moment I entered the ED, the staff was very kind and very patient with me. The triage nurse, physician assistant, bedside nurse, and lab technician took great of me and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. This hospital is 5 minutes away from my house and has accessible parking as well as public transportation. Although I pray I won't need to return, I know if I ever need to, I'll be in good hands.

Terrible hospital tech. I went in for dehydration—wasn’t sweating or peeing my tongue was complete dry because I was stuck out in woods. No one listened to anything I said. She exclaimed loudly I was “wasting resources” because I had a massive panic attack. She kept yelling at me and talking to me like I was a child. She had absolutely no chill about her. Couldn’t handle anything I said and I wasn’t yelling or anything. I kept calmly asking for water. My heart rate was soaring it took an hour for me to feel cool. They need crisis training. Oh there was only one other patient in er. They were just standing around talking. I had to beg for an ice pack. Beg for iv. The other nurse said “your heart is racing fluids will help!” No duh! I didn’t feel better til I got water and had an ice pack to cool off. I took a sip of water before thermometer so my temp was like 99.5. I vomited they still didn’t offer water. Just a vomit bag. Someone’s heart is soaring, saying they are thirsty and now vomiting? No water?

Trust me I am from Berks County and when I was told I needed a procedure done immediately and to do this I needed to go to Roxborough hospital to get it done , I was very concerned and nervous because just not familiar with the hospital. What I realized right from walking in there would be no issue. From the security team to emergency room staff, the surgical team , Resident doctors, infectious disease group ,nursing staff ,PT group and the food service group all class acts. All professional, personable and extremely dedicated. Loved my stay and highly recommend to anyone needing a procedure Done. Thank you all. Sincerely Kev

A tremendously good experience for a normally miserable procedure. There was no waiting, and I was taken care of quickly and professionally; it was all handled with clockwork-like precision. I woke up in the recovery room with no memory of the procedure (thank god) and was again looked after really well, by friendly and professional staff. I never thought it was possible to enjoy a visit to a hospital, but this was a genuine pleasure. I won't post any photos - you don't need to see that.

Everyone was very helpful. The doctor had a very good personal conversation with me so he could treat me the best way possible! The doctor was very encouraging. Overall the experience was a 3/5 I took 2 stars away because of the diagnosis! Outside of that everything was smooth, clean, great timing, professional etc… I don’t appreciate or approve of the nurse looking into my history blaming my issues/belittling my situation based of what he saw in the computer! HECK NO & Won’t ever be going back!

Waited all day and all night, very uncomfortable. Bathrooms were nasty. Extremely low staffed, one radiologist on site. Darn near everyone is a resident/training. Seemed to be low supplies. Spoke to 3 different doctors and everything thing they were saying was an assumptions….we think this we think that, which never got a definite answer! When trying to press the help button to get some assistance no one would come. They couldn’t find anything wrong but yet continued to pump me with medicine and had me hooked up to everything while saying everything was clear because they were saying things were more extreme, like heart issues. One of the machines I was hooked up to kept going off and had a message saying there was an air bubble in it and when I called for help the reaction was “I don’t know what that means”. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Ended up leaving after saying they were going to put a splint in my arm. Went to Penn Medicine and turned out it was just bronchitis, we were only at Penn 3.5 hours where we were at Roxborough over night! Penn didn’t pump me with medicine nor had me all hooked up. Sent me home with inhaler and steroid.

This hospital has had a bad rap since i moved here (2005) and honestly ive had nothing but positive experiences. Their check in process was easy, there was a person who welcomed me at the front door. The nurses were nice and attentive, and they were very thorough on checking and rechecking in with me to make sure we were doing the correct procedure.

I can’t speak of the ER or in-patient care but will say the radiology department was great during my recent visit. My insurance forces me to use their testing facilities since my PCP is affiliated w/RMH (my specialists are Penn) so I had no clue what to except. It was an easy check-in at the front desk, the MRI tech (Sabeeta Nazir) was so kind throughout my testing as I was pretty scared & my results were shared w/my specialist 12 hrs post test. Happy to know their testing facilities are still good.

My husband and I went to Roxborough Hospital for our Covid shots. The atmosphere at the center was relaxed and professional. Each step was explained carefully. We understood what to expect before, during, and after the shots. Everyone was kind and reassuring. An excellent experience!

I'm grateful to have found Dr Goss, his team and the staff at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Felisha in outpatient surgery is an amazing person. She has a wonderful personality. Thank you so much!

I was in the hospital for two weeks for. Pneumonia in July 2021. The nurses and doctors were great even became friends with a couple of nurses on FB. Had a good experience with my illness.

I have never had a bad experience at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. As so many hospitals have either consolidated or closed completely in Philadelphia and the surrounding area, I hope Roxborough Memorial stays operational in our community. Very friendly and caring staff.

I’ve never had a bad experience here - both times I’ve been to the ER for injuries I’m always seen right away (unheard of in any other ER) and the staff is so kind. Even when I fractured my foot and was hopping on one foot from my Uber to the door, the security guard saw me on camera and came rushing out with a wheelchair. Everyone has been attentive and taken their time to explain everything to me.

If I could give this hospital NEGATIVE number of stars for their review, I would. I am leaving this comment as a cautionary tale for others; I lost a family member here who would more than likely be alive had they had the good luck to go to a more reputable hospital in Center City. I won’t be sad when this hospital closes it’s doors for good…

Roxborough’s most proficient & skilled hospital! They care about your situation & recovery. It is my hospital of choice for great care with continued support in good health. I thank you!

Was there a couple times recently. Had to stay 4 days. I have to say all the nurses were great. Joanne on the second floor was excellent. The nurse in charge who I called nurse ratchett on the second floor was kind of strict I thought but in the end I finally got her to smile.

I recently had a procedure done at Roxborough Memorial Hospital and was happy with the experience. The nursing staff, anesthesiologist, and doctors all made it stress free. The operating rooms, recovery rooms and wating rooms were modern, bright and clean. Overall it was a good experience.

I go in for back and arm pain,I fell down the stairs and also had a black eye. Pain has been doing on for two weeks,so finally decided to go get checked out. The Dr felt my back asked me to do some movements, she pulled my legs up and I screamed in pain with tears running down my face, she tells me nothing is broke, and walks out. I’m sitting there confused,I walked out and seen a nurse and asked him if I was being discharged,he said yes, I said my arm was not checked,I need an X-ray or MRI I was told they don’t do MRI’s. I was giving 3 pills and a shot for pain that did absolutely nothing. I don’t even know what the medication was! Because it was not on my discharge papers. I was prescribed muscle relaxers. That was pointless they did not help anything. I needed my back and arm checked out! I’m very discouraged, and disgusted! I can’t even imagine what my insurance was charged for this useless medical care I received! I will never be back! I will never refer this hospital to anyone. Do better!!!! Thanks for nothing!

The care that I received in the emergency room was great. I use to go to Abington and stopped going because their quality of service is so bad since they merged with Jefferson. The doctor and staff at Roxborough was exceptional and I did not have to wait going to the ER. I was taken back immediately. The only reason why they did not get 5 stars from me is because the hospital needs to be updated. And he some of staff is ghetto although I received excellent care. The security was very loud and cursing as he was talking in the phone. And once taken back the staff was very loud laughing watching videos on their phone and talking very loudly to staff. Two nurses started to argue in front of me which was crazy. If I didn’t receive adequate care from the physician on duty and the original nurses that was assisting me, the ratings would have been lower.

I have had two procedures done here in the last year - and my daughter was treated at their emergency room. I've experienced nothing but great service and friendly staff and the treatment and support absolutely needed. Every community should have such a great hospital as Roxborough does. We are lucky to have it.

I had to be seen in the ER . The staff was amazing they took their time explaining everything, very compassionate, service fast. The waiting area wasn't crowded and it was clean and well kept. I feel I had good care while I was there and was happy the Dr found the reasons why I needed to be there.

The team care I received at Roxborough Hospital ER was excellent from the moment I registered at the front desk to the examine room. I was handled with care and professionalism. Kudos to Dr. Corinne Horan and her team...I was seeing and discharged in a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Franklin and his team in the ER were wonderful caring for me on Saturday, 6/3/2023.

Almost everyone here were compassionate to the fact that I wasn’t feeling well. This was not a long drawn out process at the ER. I was at another hospital days earlier and my experience felt like I was just another “number.” I felt heard and seen from the time I got to the front entrance until the time I was discharged. I was properly diagnosed and discharged with a clear plan. Thank you to everyone who was apart of my 1st experience here. Especially my nurse Cheryl went above and beyond. Thank you!!!!

Best ER visit ever. Was great right away with à smile ans instructed to head over to information. A security officer then walked me through the halls to check in. Within 25 minutes of arrival, i was taken to the back to a bed, Dr. Zwillenberg and his staff were extremely pleasant and took the time to listen to my concerns. Was sent to ultrasound with Rebecca and she was just a sweetheart. She was so gentle and caring. My now go to ER Department

Amazing staff, clean environment, everyone was beyond helpful and attentive of my son. I thank the doctors and nurses who made sure my son was well taken care of and comfortable despite his mental health they were able to be professional with him and my family greatly appreciates you all.

Let me tell you, don’t go here they will try to misdiagnose you for insurance money! I’m a first time mom so please be kind, I’m learning. I went to the ER for my 2 month old baby, he would throw up and cry after he ate. It scared me so i took him to the ER. When we arrived everything was smooth, we went to triage, they took his temperature and weight. His temperature was 99.8, i knew it was this high because we were just in the heat. When we were taken to our room, the doctor shortly came in after. I described his problems and the doctor said it sounded like reflux, which i had a feeling of anyway. The doctor said they would prescribe medication and walked out of the room. Shortly after, he came back in to say my son had a low grade fever so they were going to do a X-RAY & some test. The test were for covid and strep. After he did the X-ray, they took some swabs, everything with the swab was normal. He then came back in & told me that my son flat out has pneumonia, so I’m like is there fluid in his lungs, he’s like no… he has an infection…. I’m like huh??? So after this information is given to me my anxiety sky rockets. My baby was perfectly normal aside from the reflux, how could this be.They were saying they were going to start him on some fluids and get a ambulance to transfer him. All of those things to me were unnecessary at that point i felt like their was nothing else Roxborough could have done for me, I’m HAPPY i went with my gut. They tried their hardest to get me to stay so they could start his fluids, i refused. Before we left, i asked the nurse to take his temperature again, it was 97.6 under his arm & 98.6 in his bottom. NORMAL. So i knew i was in the right direction. We went straight to CHOPs ER, they took his temperature, it was still 98.6. When we went to the back i gave them everything i had from the doctors at Roxborough. They looked at it & we’re confused on why the X ray was even used for a 99.8 “fever”. My baby was perfectly fine. He only had reflux, not pneumonia. I genuinely believe the doctor wanted to diagnose him with that to get insurance compensation. Don’t go here if you have a baby, they WILL misdiagnose your baby.

I have needed RMH on several occasions for emergencies. We are very fortunate to have this little hospital in our neighborhood. ER doctor, Dr. Franklin is no-nonsense and gets straight to the issue quickly as he is supported by an excellent nursing staff. Shout out to Sheria, you were excellent! Thank you to all of you!

No one was at the front entrance to assist me. I had to walk around just to be acknowledged. then I was called to the back without being fully checked in. I didn’t receive my insurance card and ID before being called to the back which typically doesn’t happen so I had to go all the way back to the main entrance just to receive it after my visit. While seeing doctors I was rushed and my situation was not taken serious. I was spoken to in a minimum of 3 minutes while in a lot of pain. I received discharge papers without fully being tested or checked properly. One of the doctors or nurses I had the unfortunate encounter with was very rude to me with a disgusting attitude and I wish to never be serviced by her again.

Edit: I should note that this review pertains to their Urgent Care in Andorra Shopping Center, which is not at the hospital. Almost 8 p.m. so I was expecting horrendous wait times. I was wrong! Instead, I was signed in, treated, and on my way home in little more than an hour. The nursing staff was very good, and the doctor had a great bedside manner and sense of humor which helped put me at ease.

Worse experience I ever had there and I go there often , would recommend it all the time, I am self pay so I don’t have time to waste and be charged for poor service or no service, but I was placed into a room and then switched, the person who switched me didn’t notify anyone and they took me off the board and thought that I had left. I waited so patiently thinking maybe it’s just busy, which is once in a blue there. But nope they just forgot about me. Not a good feeling, please do better. It’s bad enough people are in the ER, which already isn’t good. Don’t make their experience worse. When I said I’ll just leave no one cared, literally the charge nurse and other nurses looked me and just let me walk out, no one asked why or anything , I guess it was one less person for them, I don’t know but it was rude. I’ll try a new place from now on. I work in a hospital myself and my goal is to make sure people are comfortable, happy and taken care of, never know what people are going through. That for sure ruined my night.
