When I arrived at 1am, Mohammed at the front desk was a sweetheart! He gave me a warm welcome and was genuinely caring. He truly went above and beyond to make me feel valued. I was specifically looking for hotels near the airport that have airport shuttles. I've made the mistake in the past of getting the wrong hotel. This hotel was great! Especially for a short airport stay. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable. There was a nice hotel breakfast in the morning. I will definitely look to stay here again!

I used the Fly and Park portion of this hotel. It was extremely easy to set up in person. I did call about 3:30 AM to set up a 5:30 AM shuttle reservation to Dulles airport. Professional staff and drive. The price for 7 days was $63 and I tipped the driver $5. This was super convenient especially on a last minute notice. I placed a tag on my visor and parked my car in a designated parking lot and left to the airport. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to park and fly close to Dulles Airport. I will update you next week on July 19 when I pick up my car ****UPDATE***** I arrived at Dulles Airport around 2:30 pm and called the Fairfield for a pickup at the airport. I was told to go to the lower level to waiting area 2G. I waited about 30 minutes for my pickup and drop off at my vehicle. The driver was courteous and unloaded my bags next to my vehicle. This was a great experience. Next time I have an early flight I will spend the night and take the shuttle. This was a positive experience for me.

I come here often for work. Breakfast is okay, but it could be better. They have free weights in the gym but no bench, I wish they would finally add that. They used to have one, but it must have broken. The rooms are nice. I haven't been in a bad one yet. Sometimes the AC is controlled by the thermostat on the wall, sometimes at the unit itself. You just have to pay attention to which is working. Where this place really shines though is the staff who work here. David, at the front desk during the day, is incredible. He is personable and helpful, and has gone above and beyond on several occasions. Rafael, the shuttle driver, is incredibly friendly and professional. Great value and customer service!

Clean hotel and in the perfect location, 10-12 minutes from Dulles. The shuttle runs frequently and even on return the wait was minimal. Staff was great, beds were comfortable and they had a very nice breakfast selection or if you prefer, Cracker Barrel is right next door. Would stay again.

My flight was cancelled and this was a more affordable choice that was close to the airport. You also get a good breakfast and free shuttle to the airport so you save some of those costs there. They even were able to give me toothpaste, toothbrush, and deodorant free of cost! They also gave me late checkout since my rescheduled flight was late the next day. Thankful I found this place last minute.

Room flooded after simply just peeing. As seen in pictures. Was told at 10:30 pm that i could either leave or deal with just towels being placed on top of the dirty toilet water that had flooded majority of my room. Was told if I had agreed to stay and just have towels placed down I would receive 10,000 points on the app, have yet to receive those as I stayed 2 weeks ago.

Throughout my countless stays at this exact Marriott property during the last 18 years, it's location from Dulles airport (one mile), it's courtesy hotel shuttle, and also during the era I have used this Inn in which they successfully had a massive upgrade in facilities, I've never had a bad, average nor indifferent stay. The staff from the front desk and shift management, to housekeeping and the event staff over the years are well drilled, professional and incredibly humanitarian. If there is a hint of an issue, they will rectify it within moments satisfactorily -where both parties benefit- and are put at ease. Besides the ease of location in relation to IAD, I've also used their location when attending concerts and after late nights in my nearby office. You cannot beat the economical price-per-night given everything involved in one's stay considering it's strategic northern Virginia location.

I’m writing this review to aware future guests whenever you order food to this property be very careful. This happened with us last night where we ordered Dominoes around 12:30am and it was delivered around 1am. For some reason we went down to pick it up around 1:30am and saw our food is sitting at the front desk. I went to the restroom for a min and came-out and finds that the box of garlic bread is missing. I asked the front desk guy named “ADAM” where is my food and he says there was only one box delivered. We knew it was him who had took it in the back to eat wondering there is no one coming at this time to pick this food. We went mad at him and asked to show cameras where he refuses and starts cussing on us. We requested to check the back office and he starts sweating and murmuring and has no answer. We wanted to call the cops but we just wanted to leave the situation and put this online so everyone is aware about “ADAM” who works at night.

We wanted to stay close to the airport because we had an early flight. We have stayed in several Fairfield hotels in the past because they seem to be a top notch hotel. This hotel was no different. The staff was friendly. It was convenient to leave our car there and take the shuttle to the airport. The charge for that is comparable. The room was clean. Breakfast has something for everyone. The only problem we had was when we returned, we had to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle.

Our stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Dulles was commendable, especially for its cleanliness and the satisfying breakfast options. These aspects truly stood out and made my experience pleasant. However, there was a notable area that could use some attention - the reception service. As a hotel’s guest, we anticipated a warm welcome; instead, the receptionist's demeanor was less than friendly, giving the impression that providing service was a burden. Given being a gold member of Marriott, the accommodation requests were met with negative responses, which could be improved upon. The bathrooms could also benefit from better lighting to enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these points, I still recommend this hotel for its significant merits.

Recently remodeled property with modern styling, comfortable beds, good TV channel selections, expanded breakfast with (on the dates of my stay) scrambled eggs and omelets (a bit salty,) mini waffle maker, pork and turkey sausage, expanded oatmeal bar and all the other usual breakfasty suspects. Area is quiet and peaceful, but is directly along the usual arriving runway for mornings after 8AM @ IAD. Again, planes landing and not taking off, so not terribly loud, mostly a "whoosh" as they pass. This is a great hotel for amateur planespotters, ask for an even-numbered room to see the planes fly over the parking lot, less than half a mile to the end of the runway. Nights are VERY quiet, as other runways are used for evening traffic. Highly recommended.

Great hotel near the airport. They have free shuttle service that starts very early. Breakfast was also very good. Customer service was amazing. Don't think twice before you take this hotel.

My go-to Dulles hotel, especially now that it’s being renovated. We had a beautiful and immaculate room with brand new carpeting. Small touches like entering to hear classical music on the radio were noted and much appreciated. Excellent coffee and breakfast buffet, friendly and efficient service, too. Thank you!!

Friendly staff got me checked in efficiently on a Monday evening, explained where the Fitness Center was and the hours and location for the complementary breakfast. Room (126, King bed) was well-appointed and comfortable. Breakfast featured coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, milk, carbohydrates (bagels, English muffins, bread, muffins), fruit, cereal, yogurt, and hot protein (eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, sausage), and make your own waffles. Quality of food was good; the hot items were hot, the cold items were cold, the toaster worked. Self-service for everything; the only suggestion for improvement would be better signage on what was available in the warming dishes - I could have had a breakfast sandwich instead of making my own from components. The hotel is undergoing renovations. A section of the ground floor was being redone as evidenced by the protective plastic on the floor in a section off of the lobby area. The Fitness Center was likewise being renovated - one wall was stripped bare and the molding on a couple of walls was out of place. Overall a pleasant stay in a hotel close to Dulles international airport and the tech mecca of Northern Virginia.

Overall the hotel is excellent. The star of the show is their staff. Superb professional and friendly. Rooms are comfortable with great AC and a magnificent location convenient to Dulles airport. They have long-term parking and a shuttle. The rooms are ample, and the beds are comfortable. They do have to keep the sharpest eye on those tiny ants they get here and there. But I will stay here again and again. Everything was close to excellent!

Rooms were good size for me, the location was good since it was 5 minutes from my work site, gym on site and complimentary breakfast 5am to 9am there is also a craker barrel next door, staff were friendly as well.

The staff was kind, respectful, and very attention to detail. The breakfast was much needed although it was small. The fire alarm went off by accident and the power went out for a few minutes so it wasn't too bad

I was so pleased with the friendly helpful service from Sam at the front desk, after my flight was delayed and rerouted. I was accommodated right away and felt taken care of, even though i had no reservation. Thanks Sam ! My room was clean and quiet and comfortable. Shuttle service to and from the airport was a welcome bonus. Also i was able to follow up a week later with the assistant general manager Jessica after mentioning an issue with my credit card, which was handled promptly and professionally. Excellent service here! Happy to have stayed here even though it was unexpected. 👍

Wonderful place. Breakfast was amazing!! We took a shuttle to the airport at 9am and the driver was so kind and wonderful. His presence was very safe and made the drive so relaxing. This man deserves a raise!! Highly recommend!

Nice property. Rooms are reasonably up to date. Staff is very friendly & helpful. We arrived earlier than the usual check-in time and they made an extra effort to get a room ready for us, which we very much appreciated. The free breakfast was also good. overall a good value. I would stay there again.

This is our third time staying in this hotel. Rooms are clean. There was a slight odor in the room during our last stay. Breakfast was good. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

The desk staff is nice but the driver of the airport shuttle literally drove passed me and tried to claim he stopped to pick me up. I was waiting right at the correct spot. Luckily another customer saod he definitely zoomed by slowing to about 10 mph but not stopping and speeding away. The driver early in themorning was very good though.

When we arrived in our room, the hotel had a gross/musty smell coming from the room. The toilet seat was loose/broken. The TV didn't work at all during our stay, like not a single channel was working, they were all black or fuzzy. The on desk staff was notified, but it wasn't fixed. The walls are pretty thin, and could hear our neighbor coughing all night long. Besides that, the hotel rooms need updated, more specifically the bathroom seems very outdated. I would not stay here again.

Great hotel. Clean rooms. Really nice bathrooms. Friendly staff. Great parking. It's not as close to the Dulles Airport like other hotels but it's not that far. Only thing I would recommend adding is a bar.

Staying at this hotel was very poor experience for me and my wife. We were given room 341 and as soon as we walked into the room there was a strong smell of mold/humidity. Immediately went to the front desk and request a change of room. The clerk advised of being overbooked and there was nothing they could do to accommodate. We were told to come back in the morning and they would change the room for us. Staying the night in the room was not a good experience and when approached the front desk the next morning, we were told of the same thing as the day before that they don’t have anything available. I requested to speak to a manager to which I was told there was no manager on site. The next day I requested the representative to come up to the room to confirm the smell and requested to be checked out immediately. The gentleman was nice enough to cancel the remaining 6 days of our stay however we were not compensated for the bad experience. I tried to connect with the general manager of the establishment and after many calls I was told that there were no issues with the room. I am giving this business the lowest rating due to the service and the ability to make things right after one month of giving the a chance to rectify our concern.

We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn! We came with a group of 30 for an 8th grade Washington DC trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, just the regular hotel breakfast foods. The staff was friendly and helpful too. It is close enough to a gas station that groups of our kids would walk over and get some treats/snacks, so that was nice. It is about a 40 minute drive to DC though, which we didn’t know, and we didn’t make the reservation - a travel agent did, but we still had fun.
