Very nice local coffee place where you can find friends hanging out having coffee, tea & some tasty pastries… They provide Wi-Fi so you can pop in lounge & surf the net.. I’d definitely recommend this place, here are my 2 dislikes; parking can be brutal and the biggest problem is they are a cash only establishment.

The staff here is awesome. The coffee is really good. The cookie cup is nirvana. I've been here several times and they are always consistent. It is cash only. If you park on the street it's all meters and the town is on top of the meters running out. Really a pleasant place for good coffee and a snack.

Very few places carry an Ethiopian drip blend and it’s a home run here! Relaxed, completely, comforting, cozy coffeehouse, which is a must visit and very rarely would you not find a parking spot. Gabby is a gem and her and staff completely kind and professional. I know you would love this place too.

This is the most authentic cafe experience I've had in NY. Finding quality espresso coffee has been a struggle, let alone the friendly familiar and welcoming environment that makes Cafe culture what it is in Australia. Kookaburra exudes this warmth, with cheerful and kind staff, who are passionate about their craft and standard of service. They have an eclectic selection of pastries, cookies and cakes to accompany your beverage, and cosy inviting seating options. So you can sit down, relax, and enjoy listening to the impeccable playlist, or have a chat with the lovely staff. A must visit, and if you're local, it's time to become a regular.

My friend and I were in the area and looking for some coffee. So glad we found this place! The coffee was fresh and the apple turnovers are delicious.

Cash only, which is terrible. But other than that, the price is right, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are awesome and welcoming. Beats any coffee franchise any day.

I was extremely disappointed with this coffee shop. Not only do they only accept cash, which is a huge inconvenience, but my friends that got the coffee itself said that it was extremely weak and tasted almost like water. I wouldn't waste my time or money at this place. There are plenty of other coffee shops out there that offer a better product and accept a wider range of payment options.

I never write reviews but this was so bad that I had to. My coffee tasted like the underside of a marathon runner’s foot. Took one sip and threw it out. Then i bought a slice of banana bread and it was moldy! Never coming here again but hey if you like this place then inshallah

What a great addition to our village. The staff is so helpful & courteous. Chris is especially wonderful explaining & offering samples if you want to try something new. They are all true barristers and each drink is a tasty creation. My husband & I have tried almost all their baked goods, and breakfast & oatmeal treats- each one fabulous. I would give more stars if I could. Stop in & treat yourself- you’ll be glad you did!

Been my new favorite place to go ever since my other spot closed down. Their muffins are delicious as well.

Excellent croissants & lately I've tried the special Rose Water Rhubarb Coffee hot or iced and it is a wonder to the palate: not to sweet, not too watery. A real coffee which stimulate with subtlety your taste bud.

I love Kookaburra! Both locations! But I’m giving a big shout out to Nick at the Malverne location today!! Thank you for meeting me at the door with a coffee, you darling boy( I missed closing by like 2 minutes). Such a kind thing to do; much appreciated. Hey… can we go back to closing at 5, or at least 4, again? Huh, huh? pretty please!

The coffee is very good but it's cash only which is unfitting for a hipster-style coffee shop.

The best decaf iced coffee! My favorite coffee spot. I always add salted caramel and it’s just perfect. Consistent, always the best, and my kids love ALL of their baked goods especially the bagels + mini muffins 👌🏻❤️

Coffee and chocolate chip muffins were the best! Employees very friendly and seem to love their jobs! A neighborhood gem.

Love(d) their chai tea latte. The first two times I came here the same barista served me. I haven't seen her since and my lattes haven't been as good. The last several times that I purchased a hot tea or coffee, it has been lukewarm.

Just went here for the first time with my mom for her birthday -the staff couldn’t be nicer, the coffee was as delish as can be & I’m super super super picky with my coffee-you can tell from the first sip that you’re drinking gourmet super special coffee!!!

It was clean and everyone who works there is nice. It is in a busy area traffic wise, but it is a great place for crussaunts and cookies. I do not recommend their lemonade though because it is very tart. But over all it is a great 4.6 star restaurant.
