This experience was phenomenal, never have I ever had encountered this much politeness. His heart is pure and full of love. The food is on another level. Everything hits from the rice to the meat to the sauce and it’s the best deal. Spot on; immaculate it was. Soon to visit again InshaaAllah.

Heard and read numerous rave reviews about this low key Halal cart and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Massive portion of chicken with steamy fluffy rice and just the right amount of white sauce had me drooling from first to last bite. My only wish was that I found out earlier. No doubt one of the best in Queens, NY. $8 for Chicken platter with can of soda. A true bargain this day and age.

Ordered the chicken combo with rice and pita bread. The owner was friendly and kind. He explained the seasonings he used in his rice and had us try a plate before having our own. One of the best halal food I’ve had. Will definitely come back.

Oh my gosh the man working the cart HAS MAGICAL HANDS. The chicken was so good and juicy and the lamb was so tender and also juicy. The green chutney was so flavorful i had to ask for the recipe!! He also gave us a free sample of some chicken which was so nice of him, may Allah bless him. :) I definitely recommend!!!! 12/10

A hidden gem. One of the best gyros I have had. Got a great deal buying food for an office event.

Mam works hard in his truck to give us best food possible. Chicken and gyro mix platter. Nice combination with rice plus pits bread and salad. Nice portions of onion to really bring the flavor. Soft tender meat with good kick of spice from it too. Soda included in 8 dollar meal. Nice food

This place is by far the best halal place I’ve ever been to. Better than Halal Guys for sure. Both chicken and lamb are always fresh and taste amazing. I could definitely eat it everyday. Khan is one of the nicest persons I’ve ever met. Thank you, Khan. You’re amazing!

DON’T GO HERE. I am very upset with my order and the service that the owner provided. After ordering, he proceeded to get too personal with my boyfriend and I, then called my boyfriend fat right in front of me. I WAS a frequent customer supporting his business but not anymore, he is VERY inappropriate and then proceeded to tell my boyfriend “he should go to the gym.” The owner is VERY insensitive. He just lost 2 loyal customers. DON’T GO TO THIS WEIRDO.

Very pleasant service, with reasonably-priced food. Gave us big smiles and cheerfully worked hard to serve us quickly. Food tasted excellent. UPDATE: Came back for more Halal food. As soon as he saw us, he remembered us from the previous day, greeted us with a pleasant smile, and even struck up a conversation with us. Food still tastes excellent.

Yes. Please. Enough said. This place is phenomenal. I recommend adding the green sauce. I have had the chicken and rice platter several times now. It is $8 including a drink. Edit: It seems to be operating under "Shah's Halal" but it's still the same guy. I had to do a double take and for a moment was upset thinking that Afridi's was gone.

The absolute BEST!!!! You can’t go wrong ordering anything from this cart! Shouldn’t even be a cart but a store at this point. That’s how good fresh and delightful this food is. The rice is always fresh and steaming when you get it. White sauce is legendary here as well.

Afridi’s my favorite spot to get Halal food! I come here at least once a week. My man is a hard worker, working two jobs, and the food is always on point! I appreciate him and hope everyone enjoys the food as much as I do!

This is the best halal food truck ever. This man is such a hard worker. He is fair and the service is amazing. The prices are so reasonable and the taste even better. We were treated like gold while waiting for food. He is friendly and kind. I will never go anywhere else. You don't find hospitality and service like this anywhere else. I will keep giving him business just because of how he treats us. You don't find people, service and good food like this anymore.

By far the best Halal Truck I have ever ordered from and I've tried my fair share. The products are 100% fresh and the flavor is mouth watering. My favorite dish is the Rice Combo with chicken and lamb. Their sauces are also on the money. Everything tasted so good I went and bought seconds before I hit the road again to have for later. 5 stars all the way. Fantastic Job to the gentleman cooking and preparing the food. Great place to stop for some quick and fantastic food. I am a truck driver and stop by once a week if possible on my runs out to Long Island. Food is always fresh, and the flavor is spot on. The owner is a Great guy and very friendly. I have brought coworkers here and they loved it as well.
