Nice hotel, super clean and well located. To improve: shuttle was full and left passengers stranded despite people communicating the night before their need for a shuttle service. Secondly: full disposable cutlery and plates for breakfast. It was painful to watch the amount of waste this hotel generates if this a is a standard practice

Recently renovated, extremely clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. The room was relatively small and on a lower ground floor but the bed was comfortable and I had all I needed. Breakfast was limited. Free shuttle to the airport is a plus.

Used it for overnight stay. Once we made a call from arrival at the pickup place, the shuttle came in 20 min. and we were at the hotel in may be 6 min. Check in wad fast. Rooms were clean. Reservation for shuttle at 4 a.m. got coffee and was at the airport in 5 min. Good close location for JFK.

STAY AWAY. Walked into the first room we were given, strong smell of mold. My partner wasn't comfortable staying in that room for even a few minutes let alone the night. We got a second room, same stench but a bit better. Since we were only sleeping for a few hours before leaving early in the morning we were to exhausted to complain again. Slept with a mask and we're hoping for the best. Front desk weren't rude about us asking to move locations, and didn't do anything more than what was required of them.

Do not stay here. Strong stench of bleach or ammonia in room, tried two rooms, both the same. 20 year Marriott Elite - this is the first and only Marriott flagged property that I have bailed on. Fortunately the property canceled my full reservation for no charge and released me from my room. I went to TWA Hotel - 1000% better experience.

I have to say that the service was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary service to the JFK airport. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff informed me that they provide this service for all guests, as it made my departure much smoother and hassle-free. The room was also very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay with exceptional service. The complimentary service to the JFK airport is a fantastic perk.

Gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant. Honestly not what I was expecting. Lobby was clean and looks newly renovated. Our room was very clean, and also looks newly renovated. Nice Kohler fixtures, modern shower doors, sliding bathroom door and nice tile shower enclosure. The water pressure in the sink was very low which truly is my only complaint. They do have a shuttle that will take you to JFK, and will write your name on a list. When the shuttle is full, they will provide a taxi free of charge which is very nice. The shuttle only runs top of the hour starting at 4am. They do have complementary breakfast that opens at 5pm. Overall we had a nice experience.

I have read all kinds of reviews, many not so gracious or from people with ridiculous personal standards. I believe that my review is a fair representation of what you should expect. We just completed our first stay at the hotel. From the very beginning to the end, every one of the Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. During simple conversation, we mentioned that we had a late flight the next day. The Receptionist immediately offered to give us a late checkout. That was very nice and unexpected. We witnessed the cleaning of the rooms. The housekeeping staff were real workers and the presence of cleaner smells and chlorine was evident everywhere. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The Receptionist told us that people commonly order meals and have them delivered to the front desk. She provided resources, but I think you can find other food places, possibly better, to deliver your order. The hotel is in a location where many may not feel comfortable walking around. Not knowing the area, I would not suggest doing that. This is typical of all of the properties surrounding the airport in close proximity. That being said, the hotel seems safe and is clean, comfortable and has a pretty decent breakfast, as long as you are a person that can make choices and feed yourself. The Staff tries to keep the food Station well stocked with fresh food. We will most definitely use this Hotel again when we have a scheduled overnight flight delay.

This is a nice hotel near the JFK airport. The front desk and breakfast staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well. I do wish I requested a room not on the first floor when I was asked because we did hear people coming in at night from room 107, though it wasn't TOO late. I also wish that I (or the hotel staff) had checked if an alarm was set on the clock because I was awoken by the previous occupants early alarm on the alarm clock. All in all this was a great place to stay near the airport with an excellent breakfast and a shuttle that goes to the airport (though only every hour on the hour). I would stay here again if flying out of JFK. It was nice there were streaming options on the TV too.

Great hotel with a complimentary breakfast and really close to JFK. We did a park+fly option here and it was decently priced to stay there for one night and park the car for the duration of the trip. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and the shuttle takes about 10 minutes to get to the airport. Would stay again if I need to fly out early from JFK.

We stayed one night there. Our flight arrives JFK around 10pm, and I called them for shuttle after we get to federal circle. We waited for more than half an hour. I think the hotel sends out shuttle every clock by the hour (if there's guest going to JFK from hotel, which I think usually is). So if you arrive after they drop off then you have a short wait, otherwise they will have you wait. The room is surprising small... The breakfast area is super big and comfortable, and there's always service people there during the breakfast time, which is good.

If you are flying into JFK and need a nearby hotel grab a cab over to this place. The staff are wonderful. The front desk person was a smiling helpful person to see after a long day of travel The e continental breakfast is typical but the two ladies running it are on it making sure your experience is top notch. The room is big and cozy. I admit I'm a big fan of Marriott hotels but it is because they never let me down. Oh I almost forgot the general manager sent me an email about three days before the trip to give me the info on the shuttle and hotel. I sent an email back asking about late check out and received an email back within an hour.

The hotel was nice and clean and had a really nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area was not great but fine during the day. I would be a little cautious walking around outside at night. There is a 7-11 a block away for anything you might need. The takeout pizza from the local place was really good.

A decent option for a park and sleep airport hotel. The rooms are new and clean, the staff is friendly, and we got a good deal for a week's worth of parking with only a one night stay. The only downside is that the shuttle does not pick you up at the terminal--you have to take the tram outside the airport and then wait for the bus. We decided to Uber from the TWA Hotel by terminal 5 back to the hotel - it saved about 20 minutes.

2023.10.20 - the shuttle to/from JFK was reliable, both coming from the airport and going to the airport. I used the service for 2 different layovers and both times the shuttle was great. The hotel staff (Emily in particular) was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was fine, but microwaved scrambled eggs and sausage patties. My room 420 was clean and spacious. The neighborhood feels a bit rough but I had no issues walking to and around the nearby park on a sunny afternoon.

This is a great hotel if you are flying into/out of JFK airport. Super convenient location with free shuttle service from Federal Circle, easy check in / out process, free breakfast & clean, comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

We arrived a day after the big storm in NY, at night. The shuttle service worked perfectly. The check in was very quick and because of the storm a little corner of our room had the floor a little humid. They were very helpful and they provided some sheets to put on the floor. The beds were really comfortable and also the shower. Breakfast was really good and varied. I may say that the best asset this hotel has is their personnel, from the front desk to the lady in the Breakfast room Everybody was really accommodating. We rested one night before our flight and it was exactly what we needed.

I was picked up at Federal Circle by the shuttle and greeted by very friendly, helpful ladies when I arrived. The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom! Everything was clean and met all of my needs! It was much appreciated after a full day of travel! :)

I really enjoy the one night stay by myself. Because I need to stay overnight to take the transfer fight. I want to pick the hotel close to the JFK airport and offer free shuttle. This hotel is super clean and offer free shuttle, free delicious breakfast ( verious options), and free luggage storage. The front desk lady Lora is very professional and sweet. She helped me with a lot of questions such as city tour, how earlier I should get the shuttle the other morning. Every stuff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to business or family trips. BTW, Lora past me late night dinner order options: one Italian and one Chinese restaurant. I chose the Italian grilled wrapped chicken which was very good and delivered pretty good time. Thank you everyone who works there.

Clean, newer hotel at JFK. Needed to stay overnight near the airport and this was a perfect option. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. Staff was great.

Great room. Clean and well stocked. Employees were super friendly and the cat house in the valet area was the highlight of my trip. We will be back.

Lucky to have found this place on a forced layover. Clan, comfortable, priced well for the area. Convenient location. Excellent friendly staff especially Suyash at the front desk and cute woman who cared for the breakfast bar like a delegation of epidemiologist was about to descend on it. Outside landscaping made it look like an oasis. Loved it!

Good service in general, however, the shuttle driver on the weekend 09.12.2023 17:00 should definitely get a raise and a big shoutout. Helpful, friendly, stress resistent to the fullest degree, while going the extra mile to satisfy the guests needs.

Not only did they accommodate us by allowing us to check into one of our rooms early after an inbound international flight so that we had a place to store our luggage and freshen up, but they also helped us get last minute transportation to the airport after a hasty outbound flight change. Above and beyond expectations with their kindness, attitudes and helpfulness! Highly recommend.

Great hotel and well positioned for JFK Airport. Their shuttle service is very reliable. The staff at all levels (reception to breakfast) were all very polite helpful and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and very comfy. The beds are great and we had a good nights sleep. Will definitely stay here again and recommend.

Had a one night stay before my next flight out of JFK. The front desk staff did her best to get me a room for early check-in as my flight arrived very early. The room was clean and breakfast was decent. The shuttle service runs every hour and it was convenient getting to the airport. It was overall a good experience except for the fire alarm that woke me up at night.

I was very disappointed in my stay at this Fairfield Inn and feel that there are many fake reviews (many with no text, just a 5 star rating) that give it the rating it has. It is in a very unsafe area and given the hotel has no dining (other than breakfast and a few snacks in the lobby) it is necessary to leave the hotel to find food. We were afraid to walk so called an Uber and witnessed a drug deal going down at the nearby liquor store. Even by Uber there are no decent sit down restaurants within 15 minutes of the hotel and paid $40 round trip to get somewhere. On the other corner adjacent to the hotel is another liquor store, an adult video store, and a 7-11 (which is listed as one of the restaurants in the area). To summarize the other “attributes” of the hotel: - The water pressure was a drizzle and I didn’t even attempt to take a shower - The room is similar to a 2-3 star hotel - The free shuttle only leaves on the hour, so to catch a 7am flight you have to leave at 5am. - The price was outrageous for the quality and services provided. - The staff at the front desk was very nice. There aren’t a lot of other hotel options near JFK but overall I would say DON’T STAY HERE and stay somewhere further away to find a better hotel.

Loved it. Quite clean hotel and rooms are well kept. I loved the fact it’s very cozy and relaxing to stay after a long flight landing at JFK. They provide complimentary breakfast which is very delicious and nice serving ladies make waffles and pancakes for you in the morning. I like their variety of food, and the coffee was my favorite, delicious! If ever find yourself to connect through JFK and wanted to stay in a nearby hotel, I would definitely suggest this hotel for sure, even though the reception staff are a bit rude but It didn’t ruin my stay at all. Airport free shuttle is nice to have, howe, they arrive late and never come if you don’t call in advance.

Needed an emergency room after getting delayed overnight at jfk. Staff was very helpful the place was spotless and the accommodations were very comfortable. They even gave me a free toothbrush because mine was with my checked luggage. If you need a hotel in this location I highly recommend.

Stayed here for an overnight layover at JFK. Has the virtue of being close to the airport and having a free shuttle. HINT: Shuttle picks up at Federal Circle train stop, and you have to call the hotel to make sure it is coming. Hotel seems a little aged (I gather that is standard for hotels in the area), but had a nice TV and free breakfast.

Well it's a Marriott so it's clean and the staff is kind. It's also close to JFK, but wow the location and surroundings are rough. Stayed here a few times and tried to find a restaurant nearby that looked right. No such luck. It's at least a $30 Uber to Howard Beach or $60 to Brooklyn. Maybe I just don't know any better. Was going to do 3 stars but the staff is so nice...4 I guess.

Stayed overnight for an early morning flight. Breakfast hours starts at 5 a.m. to accommodate the guests. Shuttle services to/from JFK. which is great, but the shuttle bus was old and not very clean with cigarettes smell. Our room was close to the street which was very noisy with traffic sounds, did not get much of sleep.

  • 5/5 Deborah B. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean. Check in was excellent, the desk person, Sophia was very helpful. Shuttle was easy to get to the hotel and on time in the morning also. There are no restaurants in walking distance. There is a 7 eleven around the corner. Pizza and Asian food is available for delivery. We had Sophia call us a cab and went to Lenny's . The cab was 20.00 each way, so not inexpensive. Maybe Uber would be less. Our room was quiet. Only one mirror in the bathroom. Shower was nice. Would definitely stay there again.

Genuinely a great airport hotel at JFK. The room was clean, and the bathroom was especially nice and updated. I checked in late at 2am and the receptionist agreed to 1pm late checkout without hesitation (I am Marriott elite which could have helped). One star off because this late checkout was not communicated to housekeeping, and I received a phone call and a knock on the door around 12pm while I was on a meeting.

We spent one night in this hotel. We choose it because of its location (near JFK airport) as we had a flight to catch next day. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms were clean too. The breakfast is nice. Our short stay was really good.

The hotel itself is nice enough (not 5 stairs but nice), the service was good but the location ain't great. I like to leave the hotel and check out the neighborhood when I travel but didn't feel safe walking down the unlit area's of the streets around the hotel at night. Not too bad during the day but not much good about the area. There were some nice dell's from what I could see. Staff was super friendly, the only real downside was the location

  • 4/5 Levi G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel. Clean and updated rooms. Kind of noisy, can hear what’s going on in other rooms easily. Rooms are also very bright in the morning, even with the blackout shades closed. Sunlight seeps around the shades easily. Would be a perfect affordable airport hotel if they installed those blackout shades in a track around the window that completely seal off all outside light.

Manager Swapna was very nice, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was good. People at the front desk were friendly, polite, and helpful. They even told us we could come before 5 for breakfast since we're getting the 5 am shuttle. Shuttle was prompt, and the driver was polite and helpful. Room was clean and nice. It seems to have been newly remodeled. The Common areas were clean and new looking.
