My 5 star review is not only a review of the caravan park, but my way of thanking the owners. i have been living here for about 5 months now, and at the start of my time here was one of the worst and scariest times of my life. I did not know what was going to be in store for me as a foster child leaving the system, but Susan, ken, and Nikki, have been really kind and patient with me through everything, whether it’s answering my calls, and they act on requests straight away. The service is amazing, the facilities it self is amazing. The park is quite friendly everyone says hello and smiles as you walk past. The park is run by very good people. I have not had a bad experience as of yet! 10000% recommend, especially if you are experiencing hardships and need somewhere safe. TO any members of staff reading this, IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT in the way you deal with residents and it shows. :)

We paid $45 per night for a powered caravan site for two people. The sites are a good size and had two concrete slabs. The amenities are good and very clean. It's mostly full of permanent residents living in cabins but they are friendly and quiet. It's pet friendly too, with a couple of parks nearby for dog walking.

About an hour or so from Spirit of Tasmania VIC terminal. Clean amenities and park. $6/load (3 x $2 coins) Washing machines good. Laundry dryers $1/8mins and don't dry well so each load of about 3 days for 3 people after $5 still wet (just so you know when budgeting wash funds). Vans 6m & above will need the drive through sites as quite tight. The suburb roads of Chelsea to get to the park are VERY narrow so patience, a long draw bar and good driving skills needed to navigate tight corner turns. Nice park just trying to provide info to assist your stay. Office closes 12pm Saturdays.

The park has all the conveniences of caravan park , the problem I encountered with this park is that the entrance is very tight , and the when exiting I had to physically pull the keypad stanchion about 10 cms out of the way otherwise my caravan would have been scraped, we heard later that a carvan following us we met again on the ferry , much smaller than my 22ft , had the side punctured and had to do a repair using gaffer tape. Also the roads leading up to the caravan park are narrow with cars parked along both sides of the road makes it a bit of a challenge, just have to take it slow and steady to get through

So pleasantly surprised!! Booked a cabin for 2 nights over Aus. Day weekend. Online photos didn’t do it justice- the cabin was renovated and we were so pleased with it! $400 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 8 to stay. Sheets & towels were crisp and spotless, lots of spare bedding, great sized fridge and cooking facilities. Pool was fantastic, clean and big. Beach a few minutes drive away. Couch in the room wasn’t very comfy but we hardly spent much time there anyway! Lovely and quiet at night. Own parking spot driveway beside cabin. We were really happy with this little getaway. Owner at Reception was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Number of tourist sites are limited and amenities could do with some attention. We have been staying annually at this park for approx 8 years and on this trip we got an impression that tourists were not really encouraged any more. We hope this is not the case and that on our next visit things may be improved.

Very bad experience. STAY AWAY. WARNING !!! Management moved, broke our tent. left our tent open in the rain, causing our belongings inside the tent to get saturated. No communication from the office. The MANAGER VICKY is useless. She May as well NOT BE THERE. They called us 2 times to verify payment, but not one phone call when our property was moved, violated and wrecklessly damaged by park manager and staff. NEVER COMING BACK GO ELSE WHERE

Great place to visit , staff are super friendly, great customer service and helpful, recommended if traveling through or need rental of cabins prices on accommodation are fair cabins are clean and park is rather quiet. They have a cafe style store and BBQ facilities , also equipped with pool and play area for family.

If I could give less than 1 star I would give minus 10. Travelling through the area and as a natural part of life I needed a shower. Upon request to pay to use their facilities (which all parks offer) I was met with arrogance, interrogation, disrespect and then turned away. The owners of this establishment are not good people and absolutely disgust me. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone at all. Signed by A Wandering Soul.

Entry road is very narrow and roundabouts are tiny, all but impossible to get a 21 footer around without running over gutter . Park entry is very narrow and boom gate keypad too close, had to retract cars mirrors and still nearly hit it with van. Park is more a park house park than a caravan park. Park is clean and well kept quiet at night. It is a long walk to Bonbeach railway sation about 1km.

Permanent residents with issues hate the horrible place can't wait to get out of the dump

Very friendly people and very clean amenities, and the pool is great too.
