enough 1 stars! you all need to appreciate this magnificent river we call the werribee river. The greatest river of all time, periodt. despite is wanky smell, and its murky almost dangerously pulluted water, it has a charm to it that most cannot appreciate. it takes an elite nose to recognise that the werribee river is a like a fine wine, aged to perfection. it has been here since the beginning of days, watching us humans be birthed, take our first steps, lose our virginity and eventually die. it is there for us, like a comforting hug from a sincere friend. five stars for the hug

Beautiful place to walk lots of wildlife. The river can be a trickle or a raging torrent. Hopefully one day get to see a platypus.

Went for a Kayak and BBQ lunch with friends at Riverbend Historical Park - once on the water it was a nice enough paddle but the water there is putrid and polluted - wouldnโ€™t want to fall in or try swimming there thatโ€™s for sure. Area could use a mow and thereโ€™s no toilets. Wouldnโ€™t go again.

Great place to take the dog for a long or short walk whilst enjoying the sound and sights of the river. Wide, safe walking paths. Quiet and peaceful. Native plant life.

Beautiful big gums that need to be protected along this river behind the main St. Bit stagnant water but nice shade and scenery . Ducks too. ,๐Ÿ‘

My favourite river! Has a gorgeous pier and there's usually a few people around to boost the atmosphere. A great place to also take your dog for a walk or just going for a fish on the pier.
