Good coffee and excellent value simple foods. We had 2 large coffees, a bacon and egg sandwich and a brekkie wrap for under $20. Amazing value and friendly staff. There's no seating at the container itself but there's seating in the bbq area next door (both covered and open). Public toilets closeby too.

TKC is a great and popular venue for all Carrum Beach goers and locals on a warm sunny day, you'll find TKC pumping. Adrian and all his staff are wonderful and do a great job. Awesome coffee, food and prices. You won't be disappointed, just be patient if it's busy.

Very small, unassuming and unpretentious, there is always a line out the front of The Kitchen Container and now I know why. Great coffee and an honest, great value menu. $3 bacon and egg sandwiches ($4 with caramelized onion and cheese) and the $7 burger with the lot were highlights for me. Don't sleep on the hot jam doughnuts either, which were very nostalgic. Conveniently located if you're going to the beach, but worth going out of your way if you're not. Highly recommend.

The Kitchen container, where have you been all my life!! This morning I discovered, in a beautiful location north a stones throw from the Carrum foreshore, the delight that is The Kitchen container. I purchased, what I consider, one of the best egg and bacon sandwiches I have ever purchased. No pretentiousness here, just a simple perfectly cooked egg, rasher of ever soo tasty bacon between two slices of well toasted and buttered white slices of bread, there was also a hint of freshly cracked black pepper. This tasty, tasty bread, bacon and egg delight was served in a simple folded foil pouch, with 2 napkins to wipe off any possible crumb and butter left overs on one’s lips. To pair with this gastronomic delight, I chose a simple small latte with one equal. This coffee was served at a very suitable temperature, not tepid like some coffee establishments, but not that hot that it scolds the roof of one’s mouth rendering it useless for the days to come. A very delightful coffee indeed. How much would one pay for this tasty morning treat I hear you ask? Well other establishments would charge $15 or $16 for this pairing, but no, not here. $10 would have been exceptional value for this delight of gastronomical sensation. Nope.. $6.. that’s right, for what some would charge for a coffee alone, I paid just $6. In fact, they were soo good, I had to get another set of coffee and bacon egg bread delight. What’s even better, on a weekday, this would cost but a single purple note.. yup a fiver! The staff are not too go unmentioned. Their happy smiles, quick and attentive service and sense of wanting to serve their customers was a delight to see. It was like they wanted to be there! Do yourselves a favour, get on down there and support local. I know I’ll be back to delve into their other flavourful delights. Well done to all The Kitchen container, well done indeed! Had brekky here ...what a vibe coming from a shipping container!! Second to none for vibes, from the staff as well as customers quality of food, value for money cannot be equalled. If you are in the area, treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Cheap food, and on par coffee prices to everywhere else. Probably the only place Ive been to where the food beats the coffee out. Cute coffee cups and a novelty shop set up in a red container , located in a convenient beach front spot makes up for the long wait for a scorching hot coffee

I haven’t had a feed this good since, well, a bloody long time. The burger was exceptional. Great prices and quick and friendly service. Definitely going back ASAP.

Great prices, super fresh food and even with long queues the service is pretty fast. Tried Hamburger and lamb wrap both were pretty good.

Fairly basic but honest and exceptionally great value for money food. 2 hot dogs, 2 sandwiches, 1 wrap and a medium coffee for $26. Super friendly service. Coffee can be hit and miss but that's just being picky. A local favourite.

Quick little toasties and they tasted amazing! Got a fresh juice and an iced latte and they all tasted great!!

This is by far the cheapest place to get breakfast and the food is so good. Also the staff are polite and have always greeted me with a smile which is unfortunately hard to come by these days at busy restaurants. Can't recommend this place enough if your after breakfast and a quiet walk on the beach 🤙

Thing about 5 stars for me, is that I don't rate it as a 5 star restaurant, but as 5 stars for doing what it goes really well! And this place does coffee and brekky food well! This is a really cute little place on the beach front that does really good coffee and cheap, tasty toasties and sandwiches. The line moves quickly for the AM coffee crowd and good social environment with locals and dogs. Parking is free for those with Kingston Parking permits, so that's a win! Overall, great little hole in the wall place that's great at doing what it does.

Great for a great cheap brekky on the go. Coffee was great. $16.50 for 1x egg & bacon with the lot sandwich (toast), 1x egg & bacon bagel and 2 large coffees. There's covered seating and tables in BBQ area opposite this Cafe. No indoor seating. It's a hole in the wall type Cafe. Very busy.

Great value! I discovered this place in 2019 trying out their sausage egg muffin for the first time and oh my goodness, I was blown away by the flavours. I asked the lady about the pattie and guess what it's home made! My husband and I are big fans of this place, perfectly located a few steps away from home. Amazing 😊

They’ve really improved their service. The girls at the container are really friendly and the food is still great, especially for the price. $3 for a bacon and egg sandwich. Be prepared to wait at peak times though, they get very busy.

Coffee is excellent, the $6 Vegan burger is a well priced simple tasty lunch, order before 12:30 as they close early. Friendly and efficient. The atmosphere of the area is nice with lots of doggo pats.

Very good food. Affordable. We eat there at least once a week. When weather permits we use the picnic area in front to eat. Also great in summer. You can just sit in the beach and enjoy lunch.

My families favourite local spot - we visit almost every weekend. Affordable, easy, quick and delicious! Not much more you can ask for! Take your food and coffee down to the beach and enjoy!

I’ve given one star purely for staff rudeness! If you operate a takeaway only cafe don’t close up 15mins early, especially don’t wait until I’m 4 metres away, look at me and pull your shutter down.

Cheap and tasty food! The location is fantastic - there’s a big kids playground, lots of under cover tables and seating, a big car park, and of course the beach. I can understand why a lot of people come here, as the place was packed with kids, dogs and families. However, if it’s quality food and coffee you’re after, this isn’t it. The coffee wasn’t the best, fairly light roast with not much flavour (prices are the same as any cafe in Melb, $4 for a medium). Although they do use Bonsoy without extra cost if that’s your thing. Gluten free options available in the form of GF bread. Friendly and efficient staff too.

May be low prices but definitely not worth the stomach hassles it will give you afterwards. Burgers are extremely sloppy, filled with burnt onions and patty. Cheap for a reason!

This place is phenomenal. Amazing coffee and food. Can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have a take away place like this around. Good quality, basic (yet absolutely delicious) food for an affordable price. Sometimes you don’t want a sit down, expensive fancy breaky. This place is the BOMB!!! I tell everyone. 👍👍👍👍

This place is amazing and the prices and office gluten-free which is great and I had it listed as a five-star review for a long time - but I have to revise that review down now because you guys are just too slow. Families with small children just cannot be expected to wait 25 minutes for a single toasty and a coffee with screaming kids. You seem a bit oblivious too.

Fast and friendly service with great prices and the food is amazing I would defnitly recomend garbing a bite to eat and something to drink when you come to the beach or if you are in the area
