This is my experience. I think it would be best that I find a new clinic because this one is struggling to find staff, time or resources to keep providing top medical care for all their patients. So, it is because I understand the pressures of general practice that I am deciding to no longer be a patient at this clinic. I've been left feeling more like an inconvenience or a burden rather than a patient who genuinely needs help. The appointments have been feeling more and more rushed compared to when I first visited the clinic. For that reason I specifically booked a double long appointment, but the receptionist booked someone else into my second time slot without my knowledge - which meant that I wasn't able to get everything I needed and was confused when my doctor told me our time was up. This was despite the fact I called twice to confirm my extra long appointment and was told everything was fine. The receptionist was quite rude and very quickly brushed me off. It's extremely difficult for me to even attend appointments as I live an hour away. It is hard for people in my area to find good medical care so sometimes we have to travel even further. It is hugely inconvenient when I'm unable to get everything done. I have done everything in my power to make it easier for my GP - including visiting the clinic when it is logistically impractical for me to do so, or filling out forms for them in advance so they didn't have to waste their time. Despite this, my recent phone appointment was deliberately delayed until the end of the day without my knowledge. My doctor attended to other patients before me who had booked appointments after mine. I was waiting for over an hour unable to do anything else with my time, and this has happened twice now. The first time I was waiting even longer. My time is important too. I decided to refrain from expressing my feelings about the matter during the appointment because I knew we didn't have time to discuss that as well. So, this is why I write a review. Hopefully it is taken as constructive feedback, as I am not trying to upset anyone, just trying to help - maybe this can be a learning experience for the clinic. I originally came to this clinic after reading positive reviews, and my initial experience was good but I do honestly feel that my experience worsened over time. The purpose of leaving this review is to share it with others like me who may wish to avoid having a similar experience.

Amazing clinic. All of the receptionists and doctors I've met have been fantastic. They all seem to genuinely care. Extra appreciation to receptionist Hannah and Dr Sudhe for fitting in and looking after my daughter today. Thank you all again!

Dr Lanyon is an excellent, caring and very knowledgeable doctor. His bedside manner was next to none, and he made me feel extremely comfortable whilst he sutured my hand. Thank you Dr Lanyon and your lovely reception lady.

I have been visiting Dr Singh for many years. I have never had a better GP ever. He is caring, listens to everything I say, a brilliant doctor and always has time for me. I recently moved from the area to Coburg but I still drive one hour to Lilydale to see Dr Singh. Thank you for everything, you’re a credit to your profession.

Dr Verma was absolutely fantastic! I have seen him for myself and my children. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate towards all health issues. He goes out of his way to assist and make you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend him.

Have recently swapped to this Practice in the search for a better option than I had before. This was after a surprise medical event and hospital stay, and I have been pleasantly surprised at just how professional and capable the staff are. My issue needs regular attention during recovery, and the main practice Nurse (Kristina) is phenomenal. Kristina's experience and knowledge together with excellent technique, has literally taken weeks off my recovery schedule. The whole team is welcoming and very capable. the staff are lovely so is the nurse this time I saw Dr Fung as his is the first time I have seen him he was fine but he is the 6th Dr I have seen since Dr Jenny Conway left as they all seem to last only a short time not too happy with changing Dr's all the time

Really good Drs at Main St Medical. If I ever have a serious health concern I come here as its the best practicein the area. Dr Verma is very professional and knowledgeable, can't recommend him highly enough.

I have been visiting this clinic for over 5 years now for all my medical needs. I can only say that all my experiences here have been nothing but highly professional. Staff are very pleasant and the Doctors and Nurse here treat you with care and kindness. I highly recommend this Clinic for all people of all ages and nationalities.

This Medical Practice and Skin Practice both are managed very professionally and with empathy, the team of receptionists, nurses and Doctors, are very caring, knowledgeable and give me extra help and information as is needed. I attend twice a month for many years, and am grateful to have built such a good relationship at this Practice. Strongly recommended.

finally a Doctor eager to help my little girl who had been struggling with a health problem for two months ,that it was now impairing her health, my friend had often spoken about how very good the Doctors are at Main Street Medical Centre Lilydale, so i took my little girl here desperate for help & i was Greeted by the most friendly of staff right away. When i met Dr Coleman i discovered a most caring, kind & very gentle, very in tune Doctor, this good Doctor instantly checked my child thoroughly & knew exactly the treatment she needed & without delay he prescribed much needed medication, he explained thoroughly to me how this needed to be used. i am so very grateful to Dr Coleman for relieving my anxiety over my little girls health problem, i feel completely satisfied. My son has a broken arm that the fracture clinic is happy for the Main Street Medical GP’s to monitor it. He has to have a X-ray every 10 days until it is healed. He has a 1minute 58sec Telehealth phone call to get the ongoing referral and was charge $69.70 for the call. I questioned the charge and was told that it is the practices policy and he would be charge every 10 day or for as long as he is needing referrals. We are a family of 5 that have only use Main Street Medical Centre as our Drs so thought because the GP doesn’t actually need to do anything other than print a form out it would be billed billed. Looks like my family needs a new dr surgery. Very very disappointing with this treatment

The ladies at reception are very friendly and helpful. The doctors are very helpful and listen. Very welcoming and helpful.

I had a very positive experience at Main Street Medical. The Receptionist was very helpful and compassionate, helping this tired Mum to make appointments for her sick children. The Dr had a very lovely and calming bedside manner and was very good with children. The on-site chemist was very convenient and helpful post appointment.

Friendly staff all round making a visit to the Clinic very pleasurable.

Staff were very professional, the one issue I did have was having to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time. Otherwise all went well and I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic.

I saw Dr Cathleen for the first time, she was lovely. Easy to talk to and very professional. The nurse who gave me the Shingles immunisation was also lovely. Sorry l omitted to get her name. Have been going to this clinic for many years and was great to be treated by Dr Cathleen.

I visited Main Street Medical for the first time today as my favourite doctor at another clinic had left that clinic. Today, I was seen by Dr Sima Torabian. Dr Torabian met my highest expectations. She is a very thorough and caring doctor and I will certainly make my next appointment with her. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience here. Doctor John was very knowledgeable and caring. He built a great rapport with my 8 year old son as he treated him. Receptionist was lovely & very helpful at helping us get a last minute emergency appointment before Christmas closure period.

On Christmas Eve, our son fell sick just as we were hosting Christmas lunch. Desperate to find help, I spent the entire morning calling local doctors, all of whom were fully booked for the day. The receptionist at Main Street Medical (I can't recall her name, unfortunately) was incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite being fully booked as well, they managed to arrange a quick phone consultation with Dr. Lanyon, who turned out to be amazing. Dr. Lanyon promptly organized a prescription and even took the extra step of delivering it to the pharmacy for us. All I had to do was pick up the medicine, and the peace of mind and relief it brought us were indescribable. A heartfelt thank you for the exceptional care and customer service, even during such a busy time.

When you go to the clinic you expect the "doctor" to at least have a look at your concerns. Unfortunately on my visit Mr Warburton was far from that, he's not knowledgeable and didn't seem to want to help. I had to inform him of the infection in my foot, I had to suggest the cream needed, the pharmacist helped me find the other required cream and the worst comment of all was "there's nothing wrong with your foot it looks fine" Wow! Can you not see the infection? Needless to say that will be my first and only visit to this centre. IF YOU DONT WANT TO HELP PEOPLE FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO FOR WORK ITS YOUR JOB!

It was a first class private hospital type of experience for me. Kylie is an absolutely amazing professional, caring, understanding pathologist nurse. Riley added another touch of outstanding professional nursing co-ordination which again was patient centred in focus. Dr Mark Fazlian is the reason I moved to this medical centre based on my previous years of care led by him. Thank you all.

Rylee and Kristina supported me to develop my Closing the Gap care plan. Their kind and compassionate manner along with the sense of cultural safety was truly appreciated. This was really a great experience. You two are absolute legends!!

Very well managed from start to finish. I booked on line after being SMS's the booster vaccine was now available. This was also the case for the first twice vaccines. It was painless in more ways than one. Good effort team at the Medical Centre in Lilydale.

Took my two year old for an appointment today and found the manner of Dr Warburton to be unprofessional, unfriendly and cold. It's clear he is not comfortable dealing with young infant patients, but there is no need to be rude when dealing with sick people. What happened to a decent bedside manner?

Everyone was helpful, the seats were well distanced, and the doctor giving me my booster was excellent. Since the three medical centres in Lilydale have similar names and even more similar acronyms, I had trouble locating this one, but the pharmacist adjacent kindly walked out onto the street with me and led me to the door. A professional, friendly clinic, long opening hours and a nurse & chemist on site. All staff are really efficient & helpful and appts. usually run like clockwork. They go out of their way to fit in urgent appts too! They offer a broad team of kind, committed doctors with various specialities and interests so that everyone's needs are covered. I highly recommend this clinic.

Once again I’m very pleased and appreciative of this clinic and their staff. Dr. Coleman, who I’ve been seeing for over a year now, is always extremely caring and personable. He always listens to me and even right now with him only being able to do Telehealth, he’s gone out of his way to continue my care and be a support system for me during this tough time. He even calls me on time! I’ll always highly recommend him and this clinic.

Receptionist very helpful and friendly. Doctor Fung was very easy to talk to and was great with my toddler, making him feel at ease. We will be making this or regular gp from now on.

The new middle aged female reception with the accent was so rude to me, and to the poor elderly gent waiting in line behind me. My actual time in of seeing my Gp- Colman, was as calm and professional as always.

Friendly clinic, with good online booking system, including pre-filling forms to save time for new clients. Very handy to have the clinic located with a pharmacy. Reception staff and doctors are friendly.

Very professional clinic, Drs and supportive and really have your best intetests at heart. The Practice Nurse is very experienced and offers other information to check with your Dr, and Reception staff are so helpful and recourseful with all aspects. I have been going to this practice for nearly 10 years, and its getting better and better each year. Thankyou for their care and professionalism.

I have been a patient here for years. The reception staff are lovely and very helpful. Doctor's are mostly great and the wait time is reasonable. I wasn't happy that they don't bulk bill for non concession anymore but it is what it is. Added bonus is the convenience of being located in the Amcal pharmacy. Overall happy with this medication centre.

Had a really great experience. I was referred from another clinic because they didn’t do some treatment I was having and now I think I will stay. Everyone was super lovely. I spoke to several receptionists and couldn’t believe how friendly they were. Most drs surgeries seem to have a prerequisite of moody, mean staff but this clinic certainly was not the case. My Dr, Dr Atapattu was equally as lovely.

The clinic is open 7 days a week. I was able to get an appointment as a new patient, when I called Saturday morning for that afternoon. The receptionists are very friendly and the doctor was very understanding. The Amcal chemist was very helpful.

I've been coming here for a while now. Dr Coleman is the absolute best Doctor. So kind and caring, always listens and has lots of time for me. The staff are always polite and helpful every single time. Great team keep it up!

I needed advice on travel vaccine for my daughters and me. Dr Sanjeewa made sure we don't miss any requirement. It was also very convenient to get the scripts and order straight from the pharmacy.

Called at extremely short notice, receptionist was awesome! Came 10 minutes later, saved me a 3 hour wait in ER. Doctor was good, service excellent, and having the chemist at the practice the best. Recommended
