My review is only based on my personal experience. I had endoscopy procedures done in the hospital today. The whole experience is positive. I waited 2 hours in waiting room. Doctors and nursing team are friendly and respectful. I highly appreciate their professionalism. I have done the same procedures at private hospitals in the past and I would say there is absolutely no difference. I will choose this hospital again next time. By the way there are plenty of free parking.

A few months back — Come into urgent care this is the second time to be told nothing is wrong when the first time my little boy had rhino virus and they said it was nothing and now my older boy to be told nothing again and he has tonsillitis and other problems ! Everything isn’t covid and that’s what they think !!! This hospital needs to get all there doctor checks and nurse checks again as they just want you out of the hospital and not care about the patients health … Now today — Come into the operation surgery room for my son to get a procedure which I’m so grateful for but then his dad can’t visit and they laughed which saying that’s okay not any help and he just wanted to hug him !!! Tell me we go into the ward at a certain time and now it’s around another time … what a bloody joke !!! Super disappointed, the communication is disgusting

Kilmore Hospital is one of the best hospitals I have ever been to. It was my first time going there and I had such a lovely experience. I went in to the urgent care unit as I had a insect bite and had very bad swelling on my arm. They had to call in a doctor as there wasn't one there at the moment but that was understandable as they were not busy as I was the only one in emergency. The doctor came in 30 minutes which was fine as I only had slight pain. Doctor Lawson and Nurse Emily were very friendly and professional. Both admin ladies were lovely too. I also noticed that the hospital was very clean and well presented. Such a lovely hospital, we are so lucky that we have a hospital close by that isn't busy. If I went to Epping I'm sure I would have been waiting for hours just to be seen as my situation wasn't urgent. Thank you staff at Kilmore Hospital

Don't even bother going to this dump if your dying. It's nothing more than a transfer station to dump your problems onto another hospital. The local gp has a much better service than this dump of a hospital. Rude stuff that would rather talk to each other about there weekend than help there patents avoid

Came in for a small procedure under anesthesia, they injected me a total of 5 times due to it being incorrectly placed. Mind you I told them which side of my arms has more prevalent veins but she completely ignored me and didn't care to look so continued to inject the same arm (elbow crease & hand vains) The nurse that did this surgery for me told me she would be right there when I woke up but she was no where to be found. Upon going into surgery I was trying to tell them that the needle in my hand for the anesthesia was hurting alot and I then heard the lady tell the trainee who did the 4th injection that the whole time it had been in the wrong place (deep in my muscle). This injection site remained sore for months after. I started panicking and highly regretting my decision to have it done at this hospital but it was too late because I passed out soon after. They did try to calm me down which was nice but after the procedure I woke up and a nurse went to cut my hospital tag off my ankle and completely cut a chunk of my skin with a pair of scissors. Really don't know what goes on at this hospital but sometimes it feels like they just pick anyone off the street to hire. I've definitely had some good experiences where the workers have been very kind and caring but most of the time they make you feel like you don't belong there and should just go home unless your dying. Makes me wonder what else goes on in this place that no one knows about.

Unprofessional and judgemental. 2 things that should NOT exist when taking an infant to an ED. A nurses response to an offer to look at a photo of baby poop (health concern) “ew no thanks”. Just make your way further down to the children’s. Worst experience.

Hard to believe that a hospital doesn't have ear wax removal tool. Went there because my ear was hurting bad, was told by a nurse at kilmore hospital to go to craigieburn GP because they don't have that earwax removal tool.

My son presented to urgent care with an ankle injury. Waited over 2.5 hours to be told that the xray dept was closed and to go elsewhere.
