Stopped in from out of town for dinner tonight with my family and we were blown away with how genuinely friendly all of the staff were. It wasn’t a feeling of forced politeness you usually get in any hospitality venue. Everyone we encountered had that air of genuine friendliness about them. It was fantastic to see and a credit to the team. Well done! Great dinning experience.

Just a typical hang out for the local druggies and the elderly. Not a particularly nice place too visit. Theirs always fights and the crumbs are always doing burnouts in the car park and fighting over the best room in the motel section

Went looking for a table beside the creek which is a very pretty outlook watching the ducks and other bird life, but the room right on the creek turned out to be for smokers 🤮 with smoke leaching out into the diners area. This room needs to relocted further away from the diners. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food is only average.

Very good location. Good variety of meals at reasonable prices as well as a specials board. Friendly service. Polkie venue on site. Clean and tidy facility. Plenty of parking available onsite.

The Christmas Trio dinner, was very average. The pork & turkey was good, but the ham tasted like it was out of a packet, not ham off the bone. My son had the Ribs, said they were okay. Needs a bit of improvement on the meals. Staff are friendly though.

I don’t really write reviews but this one got to me. Was served by a lady wearing a the name badge Sam. She had appalling attitude and was so disrespectful and non-mannered. My dinner there felt so unwelcoming and will most likely not be coming again

Great please to have dinner. The way you can order off the menu by your mobile without leaving your table is a awesome way, wish more place would do that.

Nice Steak & chips, Unfortunately the fish we ordered (Barramundi) came out as a Round Soggy Canned Salmon??) 'Fortunately when I brought it back they were very nice in swapping it in return for another Steak. Thanx guys, Soup is nice also. KIDS FISH N CHIPS & SPAGGETTI kids love it! GREAT, just need to get some real (unfrozen) fresh stuff on the menu & perhaps a few more 'STEAK NIGHTS' With specials like a Parma & Pot also. P.s also seem a bit 'Understaffed' Fire 🔥 place is nice 2 sit and have a relaxing drink or two

Porterhouse was on the *Specials Board* it strictly came with salad & chips. I asked for just salad with my steak - not possible! The steak was very tough & fatty. Also it was served on an entre plate so as you sawed through the steak the salad slid off the plate. Not recommended...

I recently visited this pub and was thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere and service. The decor was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They made sure that we had everything we needed and were happy throughout our visit. The food was also fantastic - I tried the pub's signature burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. The patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and added great flavor. The beer selection was also impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from. Overall, my experience at this pub was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars all the way!

Meals were good but when we arrived, (we had a booking for 13) the table was dirty covered in crumbs and we pulled out the chairs and more food remnants were on the chairs. We had to give the table and chairs a brush off before sitting. Luckily the meals were very nice.

This place has not changed 1 bit since I was here last 8 years ago, fir nature, tables, staff and unfortunately seems the same cheff to. Seems like the deep frier is doing all the work in the kitchen. Food not good at all. I might give it another 10 year's before I return.

Over all its improved since my last visit 5 years ago but it still Needs a bit of work with the decoration and Staff - the guy allocating the seating needs to be way way better and get a huge boost of enthusiasm or some red bull. The seating we’ll see the photo of ripped seats. The food well was pretty good and fast but kitchen staff without hairnets puts me off. Overall passable .

Best service , one of my friends asked hot water, then even the cafe has not started yet, then the manager still servied hot water for him( this aussie friend likes hot water for 20 years). For this reason, I am happy to give this hotel 5 star👍👍👍👍👍

We went to the bistro for a meal. We hadn't been there for over 5 years. The food was delicious. Only one hitch was they forgot one meal but prepared it in a good time and gave my friend some onion rings which she said were delicious. No photos as we were all too hungry.

It offers good value for its price; provides spacious and comfortable room and located at a strategic location. However, bird droppings partially covered the stair areas (leading up to the upstairs rooms) and the stairs' hand rails were very dusty.

Came back to give it another go. Absolute disappointment. Overpriced cheap food. Large parma came out smaller than a normal parma. Cauliflower had grey staining on top ... well past its prime. Fish had a thick bright yellow cake like stodgy batter and very little fish inside. Staff didnt really care .... we were a family of 10 .... sadly this is the last time unless it improves greatly. Ps been coming here for over 30 years... last 3 times have been sheizenhousen

This review is for the bistro only, not our overall experience. Atrocious is the only word l have. The prawn cocktail is advertised as prawn & crab' - three overcooked prawns and SEAFOOD EXTENDER!! This on it's own was enough for me to make a complaint however wife said no. The main, seafood platter was an overcooked, paper thin fillet sitting ON TOP of some smoked salmon, which obviously destroyed the taste and texture; the crumbed scollops were the fake meat ones and the prawns were so over cooked they were like rubber. We ended up leaving all the cocktail (minus the prawns) and most of the seafood platter as it was simply inedible. I believe the cooks were maybe prison cooks or possibly the guys from the soup kitchen. The wife made me add that the garlic bread was ok, and she used it to dip into the soup she later bought from the IGA for dinner....

l had a meal here and chose the chicken schnitzel and what a mistake to have ordered this!!!!! lt was not normal chicken but processed meat of some kind and totally tasteless-l will never eat here again. Why would l bother contacting the manager, if they are made with 100% Chicken breast why was the texture the same as Mc Donalds chicken nuggets, as l said processed!

Great place for a really nice meal. Gave 3 stars for the rooms as it was very crammed in, not a lot of walking space in the (new to me) side room that used to be outdoor. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal I had, great size and well cooked. Good variety of meals to choose from and the prices were good too, lots of great deals on different days of the week for the whole family to enjoy.

First time there for few years, not impressed, bar was very understaffed, had this fish which was average, other meal was a nice steak, ordered the free garlic bread as appetizer but never came :( asked about it twice and just gave up staff never got back to me with an answer. Won’t be going back.

Went for lunch on Wednesday. The meal was yummy and the service , what can I say it was wonderful. Went into pokie room and I was impressed with the staff very friendly. Also it was great to see the pokie machines being wiped down regularly. Well done. I am from Qld and have not seen that service since Covid. Keep up the great work and thumbs 👍 up to the staff. Definitely will be back. Thank you for the great experience.

Nicely laid out building. Has fantastic potential. Attended a function on Friday the 18th of November. The security were friendly and courteous, 2 of the female staff were fantastic, bubbly and friendly. (Tahlee? And Melissa). However, there were 2 other female members of staff there that night that were about as pleasant as a prostate exam. Rude, miserable women. One in particular was mentioned regularly among the patrons as being a nasty person. Many people had bad experiences with her throughout the course of the night, myself included. That lady later told me that she is the manager. If that's the case, the hotel is destined to fail. If she is a liar like I presume, then fire her if you have any intention of running a successful business there. She will do nothing but bring the place down. Quite a shame.

Just went in for a quick bite, because my wife had an appointment. Just 2 appetisers, wedges, a bruschetta, 1 coffee & 1 hot chocolate. Meal was very average, but the coffee & hot chocolate, we waited 1 hour for. They would not serve in a mug, even though I could see they had them. I went up to the bar 3 times to see if the drinks were ready, eventually I picked them up on the forth trip (place was nearly empty, so they weren't busy). My wife discreetly spat the luke warm chocolate back into the cup (she later said it tasted like dishwasher), went to the toilet, vomiting her wedges, I had a sip of my cold cappuccino, and we left, never to return, seriously shaking my head over the $40 we just spent. Not the Seaford hotel my wife & I used to go to, when we first dated.

Had the steak with chips and salad in the bar. It’s a TAB pub and didn’t have super high expectations but it was a near perfectly cooked Rump and the garlic sauce was fantastic. Service was efficient and friendly as well. Great easy stop lunch meal.

Love coming to the Seaford hotel, friendly and accommodating staff, great public bar with open fireplaces, pool tables and TAB facilities. The gaming room is very clean and well run with plenty of staff to assist you and has its own snacks menu available for purchase at anytime day or night. The bistro has a great little play area for kids, food is great value and very filling. Would recommend coming to check out this place and also has motel rooms onsite which is great if you are coming across town to see a live band or just working away from home. Looking forward to when more covid restrictions are eased and get to experience everything the Seaford hotel has to offer.

We had a table of 15 people, 9 people ordered their meals 20 minutes before the rest of the table. We received our meals 20 minutes after the rest of the table had finished their meals. Four of the 9 meals were stone cold, the 2 meals of twice cooked pork was cold and TOUGH. it had to be cut with a steak knife.

I ordered the roast of the day. Lamb was beautifully tender but cold, the vegetables were so underdone they were raw. So disappointed. When I told the waitress she was dismissive. They were really busy due to it being Mothers Day so I didn't take it any further but it's not hard to serve a warm meal and cook vegetables properly. I did appreciate the gift all mothers received but as for the meal, definitely disappointing.

Really don't recommend. Scallop curry that was obviously heated from frozen as they were very cold inside. Curry itself was not much more than turmeric and coconut milk. Risotto was salty to the point of discomfort. So many TVs it felt like the pokies lounge was creeping into the dining area. Staff were pretty good.

  • 1/5 LA M. 10 months ago on Google
I visited the Seaford Hotel Bistro with my family and we ordered crisp skinned barramundi with curried scallops, a risotto, half a dozen oysters and some wedges. While the natural oysters and wedges met our expectations, everything else was disappointing! The barramundi had zero seasoning, the skin was far from crisp and the scallops were still frozen in the middle. The risotto was overly seasoned with salt nearly to the point of being inedible. If an establishment is going to charge quite a bit for pub fare, at least put some love into it and learn how to season food correctly!

Won't be back. Not into going out for dinner where the children are allowed to run around like its a playground. Food was very average. Pork belly nice but potatoe mash tasted like instant & gravy tasted instant too. Seafood spaghetti too heavy with cream. Lacked flavour.

Food was very average and service wasn’t pleasant. The waiter seemed so unhappy and angry at us for having a full table. We accidentally forgot to put our promo code in and was told we couldn’t get a refund even though we are fully entitled to it. So unacceptable

We had such a fantastic time in the bistro to celebrate my 60th birthday. The food was really nice, everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were excellent in particular a lady called Mealz. They did a great job and I would recommend having a meal or function there again. We had a great night..

Went on a Saturday day to play pool with the misso. Went in sportsbar after lunch. Had 2 pints and then the barman cut me off as said he couldn't understand what I was saying. I have an Irish Accent and my partner tried to explain this to security guard. I just wanted to leave as it was laughable but also bit threatening vibe. She was trying to argue the point we were driving and only out for a couple and not intoxicated. He told her to hit him and see what he does! Pretty average really as I was liking the place prior to this but obviously will never be back.

Was rejected at sports bar. Then went into bistro… and was told sports bar was still open. Poor service on knowledge of sports bar and bistro opening times. Meal in bistro really good. Jug of beer tasted like flat cider. Overall not impressed with the service

OK for the despair in need of Pokies being experienced in running your Bank Dry...at least I've never won more than $200 odd AUD. The demographic population is at the very least on a drug of illicit substance... Good luck being able to make a comfortable stay around the Gaming Machines without the feeling your being robbed with these peoples hopes / stares / & 15% chance of the above going down. Happy Gaming.

I've been twice recently and service was acceptable, meals arrived quite quickly. I loved the no contact ordering system - scan a QR code on the table browse the menu, place your order (including drinks) and pay securely through their Web portal. Brilliant! Both times my steak was well overcooked, but still absolutely amazing. The first time I called the waitress just to get her to pass on to the chef that the steak was over-cooked, and immediately I was offered a replacement (which I declined, I was already enjoying it) but insisted in "righting the wrong", offering free dessert for myself & my partner, which I also declined. We settled on another round of drinks which we really hadn't intended on having but it was clear that the manager wanted to "fix" the situation. I found this great but it left me feeling a bit guilty because I wasn't out to get something for free, I was just giving feedback. For things like this and the high quality food will keep us coming back even though it's a little bit further than "our local".

We shared a Shareboard and to be brutally honest it was not worth the price. The Chirizo was like eating rubber and I had to use a sawing motion to cut through it. The ribs were tasteless, the buffalo wings far too spicy. The only positive on the board were the sweet potato chips. There were two dipping sauces. One so hot without warning that my wife’s tongue is still numb. Very disappointed.

Went there on a day out shopping as I've done a few times with my mum. Wasn't crowded. We sat in a part of the bistro which had a glass ceiling as I liked the effect of the sun streaming in. Noticed that a lot of the furnishings were tatty. The chairs were covered in a vinyl and on the tops they were worn. When I used the toilet the door of the cubicle wouldn't close as it had dropped drastically. I had to lift it to get it to close which no-one should have to do. Just needs an adjustment to the hinge. I meant to report it but forgot. Enjoyed my meal, I had the Lamb Cutlets. Service was good although a little slow as the person taking meal orders also was servicing the bar. It has lots of parking that's easily accessible and a motel is also on site. There's a servo close by and a small group of shops which is great for convenience.

We went to the hotel for lunch today and ordered the $45 Hot/Cold Seafood platter. As we commenced eating we noticed the seafood tasted and smelled off. Given the price we attempted to eat some of the platter and became violently ill on the premises immediately. We reported this to three male managers who effectively did nothing and responded defensively. At no point did any of the managers apologise for our experience or offer any sort of recompense. We hadn't requested a refund and simply informed the manager so as to advise them of the state of their seafood. Shocking service and not likely to return soon.

Ordered a well done steak the one I received was medium.....just, as there was traces of blood on the plate from the meat. Asked for chips and vegetables received chips and salad. Did say something to the waitress when the meal was brought over she shrugged her shoulders and walked off. The glasses weren't cleaned well, 2 in a row had lipstick smudges again staff didn't seem to care. Nothing has changed in 12 months.

I decided to have late lunch at the restaurant and no good experience either Unfriendly cashier, lack of attention of staff I have to remember twice they bring my dessert. Last night had the seafood platter thing $45, was supposed to have a half Cray and we got half a bug. Paid a fair bit extra for one additional oyster so we could have 2 each. Not worth $45, although the calamari was tender if a bit bland. The bruscetta was supposed to be ciabata, but was just lightly toasted white bread. Thought we'd give it another try after not very good a few years ago. Will be a few more before we try again.
