Stayed for one night for business. Loved the room (especially the spacious bathroom; although it did take a while for the hot water). Great location. Particularly liked the option of a $5 breakfast pack (enough to get me going for the day). Once I got to sleep, I had a restful night, but block out blinds would be a good addition.

Stayed at the hotel last week-end. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were great and very helpful ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Food is good and of value. Rooms were clean and tidy and also good value. Ideal location to Monash University which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Will visit again

Went there for the steak and food. Excellent Servicing by the Kitchen who sold us the jelly and apple cider past closure time which is 930pm.

I have stayed here 3 times in 2023 and WILL NEVER return or recommend, unless your hearing impaired, or a super heavy sleeper. Walls are paper thin, can hear clearly young children being told off at 2am( on previous stays) and sound from the pokies/smoking area also

Lots of pokes, and complimentary cokes! Downside? I have experienced and also seen many others lose money due to either cash machine or gaming machine errors/malfunctions. Also staff are very hit or miss there.

No service available till 10am. The rooms are small but absolutely fine. When I booked I didn't realise it was part of a late night pokies palace. The bar is open to 4am and and the noise of other guests made getting any sleep pretty difficult during that time.

The rooms were nice as it looks to be a renovated motel. The room was nice and had everything that we expected. However; The hot water takes up to 5mins to come through (Maybe the hot water system is located quite far from our room?) Also, putting a light above the shower should have been included when you renovated the rooms. There is only a light in the centre of the bathroom and the shower wall blocks the light.. You also need to put seals around the entry doors as its not insulated very well. (You also need to replace the door lock battery as it flashes red and green when the door unlocks) No issues with staff as they're very nice and friendly. The main hotel/pub hasn't that much food on the menu that was the only other issue we had but there is a shopping mall nearby.

Stayed 2 nights. Beds are very comfortable. On the small size but perfect for just sleeping in. Shower was very good as well.. bit slow to heat up the water. Location was close to everything I needed.

Clean and comfortable, has heating/AC which is helpful. Has main amenities just missing a hair dryer but we could airdry. Service was great. There's a shopping centre across the road for any missing amenities or for food.

Staff was friendly and great but the room..... Pungent smell of mould, unclean and even had urine all over the toilet seat. We cancelled the rest of our stay and checked out immediately to stay at Park Royal down the road. This place was newly renovated but has a serious mould problem and the rooms need to be cleaned better.

The rooms are small and uncomfortable Adjoining rooms have smokers ashtrays outside the doors and is very unpleasant Highway traffic noise is also very uncomfortable. The staff are pleasant and the pub food was good and fresh. If your looking for value for money don't stay here. Overpriced and uncomfortable

10 mins walking to M-city for shopping and eating. 30 mins walking to Clayton campus, Monash University. The room is clean and a bit tidy. The staff is very help and willing to help us solve the problem. When I visit Melbourne again, I'll reserve this hotel.

Having an early appointment at Monash Hospital and living 4 hours away we decided to stay as close as we could. Nightcap at Monash certainly did not disappoint as the rooms were spotless, bathroom was excellent, bed was excellent and the service we received from the staff was exceptional. Had a meal there which was great and would definitely stay there again

Bed is comfortable. The new m city complex is great! Country couple staying in town to head to sandown racecourse the following day. Bathroom is new! Nice work!

Great for a casual dinner to catch up with family and friends. The indoor playground is perfect to entertain kids in a contained area.

We had our daughter's Birthday at Monash Hotel & the service & food was fantastic! A very big Thank you to the Venue manager Seona, Sophia & the staff for a beautiful set up & wonderful & friendly service. Kids had alot of fun on the big playground. Came for the first time on Saturday night for our nephews birthday and what can I say ... such a great place food was great and my highlight of the night was the customer service we had received from the manager on duty with blonde hair and one of the male staff members! Been to a lot of venues and work at one myself and have never seen a manger do as much work as the lady did the was on !!

I had asked on numerous times to adjust to air conditioner and it went on deaf ears. The place was so bloody cold. Make sure if you go to bring your woolies.

The hotel is more of a motel, to be honest, it's old derlict and the bathroom had a 70's feel to it but, golly it is surely spacious for what you pay for it is definitely a bang for your buck! Especially if you have a conference or something at Monash university and can't be bothered taken public transport. The hot water sometimes feels like it runs low and the pub car park with glass on the ground doesn't spell luxury or safety but the fact that there is a ATM tied down with chains in the front assures me that there is focused security in this place. Nevertheless there appears to be renovations happening one room at a time which is swell. Oh if you need internet they have it, but make sure your in a room near the "wifi towers" The pub food here is awesome, and the jugs are only $14 for Furphy's (at time of writing) The staff were extremely friendly and although no photos of the lamb shanks were taken, they are a must try.

I went with a friend to play pokies. The door guy was nice. Pretty quiet when I was there which was good and did alright on a game for once.

Room was clean , Room door had to be shouldered to shut properly , We had a meal in the restaurant here we both had steak 1 steak was like eating charcoal and dry , the other steak with vegetables was dry seriously over salted vegtables and the pepper gravy were also seriously over salted, i don't advise you eat here if you are on a low sodium diet

food was ok - used to do a great parma but was a little disappointed when the last one was a bit dry . staff seem nice

Very old and basic rooms not very Inviting

I had the most unpleasant experience with this hotel. There is this blonde lady (hotel manager) really knows nothing about customer service basically screams from this corner to the other in the dining area. we were having a family gathering and felt so uncomfortable the way she screams at other staff members. She was abusive towards the staff to the extent that we apologized to the girls behalf of her. Also there was this other lady who was in the bistro short black haired one is too slow and didn’t care even we were there to order she was talking with another guy and we had to wait to more than 15 minutes to order. Overall we were disgusted of the boss lady’s customer service. Would not recommend this venue to anyone.

Came to Monash Hotel for an event held in the function room. The management was extremely unprofessional, there was a lack of security, the bar was understaffed and many people including myself were waiting 5-10 minutes to order their drinks. Would not recommend having any function here.

What we loved about this place, is that it’s overall quiet, great atmosphere, great friendly staff, in a room that I don’t think has been renovated since the 70’s. Large servings on the plate. My chicken schnitzel Parma could’ve been a better cut of meat but, they at least have a selection of toppings and they should branch out even more. The barramundi dish was very generous. We got given 2 large fillets and it was made GF.

Good place for the kids. Menu is small food needs to be cooked with a lot more love and attention and faster waited 50min for a medium rare steak and it wasn't busy at all. If they upgrade the food it could be a great place to eat.

The renovated rooms were clean and nicely presented. A shout out to the housekeepers, they do an amazing job. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming during check-in and throughout my entire stay. A special mention and shout-out to Bronwyn! I dined in the bistro which had a great menu, with a variety of chef specials on offer and the food was great. It was a great trip as the room and experience really made it feel like my 'home away from home'. I am looking forward to staying there again when I visit Victoria.

Highly recommend staying here. Our room was immaculate. So very comfortable and clean. Excellent beds! Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, who went above and beyond the call. My mum was booked in for an operation nearby and the wonderful Sharna took it upon herself to assist with directions and any additional local information we needed. Kind and very efficient service.
