😍😍😍😍😍 yum!!!! we went on a sunday night and the restaurant had a quiet and intimate atmosphere. staff were so lovely and the food was great. we ordered the nachos, three beef classic tacos and the big 1.3L illusion pancho villa. totally appreciate the touch of the free sombrero!!!

Me and my partner went here for a celebration meal. We shared a fishbowl margarita which was very nice and also had multiple different menu items. I am very experienced with Mexican food in general having lived in Los Angeles for some time. Whereas my partner is very new to Mexican food in general, this gave her a great introduction without being too overwhelming for a first experience. There's a really good menu to choose from and our waitress was very accomodating of any requests we made throughout our meal.

Had booked a table for my birthday at the Russell Street Taco Bill (everything was confirmed) get there to find it's closed and the contact number was going straight to voice mail! Called the Taco Bill contact number for head office but it (luckily) took me through to South Melbourne's restaurant, they understood my frustration and offered a table there and half priced meals, which is already amazing but they really out did it! The service was incredible! Free tequila shots for us all, I got my meal for free, free dessert, fun stick on moustaches, I even got a taco bill temporary tattoo put on me as well! And to top it off I got given a free drink card for my next visit! Really saved and made my birthday dinner the best! I'm glad that Russell street was closed because the South Melbourne Taco Bill is 100% better in so many ways! Cannot recommend enough! Thank you to the wonderful team there!

Chicken Fajita is 7/10 felt like the chicken could have been cook better. Grilled corn is delicious and it comes with creamy mayo sauce 8.5/10 Slowed cook beef La combinion, some part of the dish was good but the beef was overcooked and dry We also order the lemon slushie and it was refreshing but SUPER SOUR

The food tastes good but not great. The prices are decent and the ambience is nice. The drinks are flavorful and potent. The salsa is fresh. The portions are a bit small, but I guess that's fair because of the price. But it's a taco joint, you're supposed to stuff your face and get messy. It didn't really feel like that here. Even the tortillas were quite average. Go here for satisfy your Mexican food craving. Or you're just after some margaritas.

Very yummy food. Sweet salsa sauce with a hint of chili punch, juicy and fresh prawn and scallop, spot-on slow stewed beef, and outstanding grilled corn with special-made sauce. Super friendly staff and well-decorated restaurant. Bring me to Mexica in my Melbourne trip🤩

Taco's 🤪 sooo delicious. Fish, prawn/scallop, beef carne all sensational. Quite large. I had only 3 at $7 each and thought this was ample. Very happy to have a, meal for approx $20. Beers only $8, great value in this place. Hard to get fresh quality taste to match a good price. Service was great, 8pm on a Sunday and still a happy servece team. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Lovely Mexican food and great sangria for a chain restaurant. Ordered the nachos and la combinacion. Chips and salsa were a nice snack while ordering and waiting for food to arrive.

Not the most authentic Mexican food, definitely more texmex, but the portions are large and you can guarantee you'll be full. One of the better chains and I really liked the chilled vibe. We ate outside and shared the 1L sangria which was very easy drinking. They provided free nachos with sauce as well. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which didn't look huge but was loaded with salsa, sour cream and guacamole on top and ended up being really filling. They weren't stingy with the sauces or filling.

Food was lovely staff were very nice and attentive. Very much enjoyed Taco Bill would go back and recommend highly.

Favourite love to go for food in South Melbourne! Staff are always so so nice to customers and the food is always really good! Definitely recommend visiting Taco Bell for their tasty menu and margaritas! We are locals (Port Melb) and long time customers of Taco Bill South Melbourne. The complimentary corn chips and salsa are always a nice touch and the service is fabulous; Shoebz is a huge part of why we keep coming back! Whilst the food is not the absolute most authentic Mexican you can find, this is also not our expectation coming here and it’s always delicious, hot/fresh and good serving size, so you won’t be hungry when you leave! Our favourites are the Mango Slushie, Enchilada Nuevo Mexico (great value and good way to sneak a taco/entree in there!) and the Nachos Supremo. For a bit of crunch/spice, will sometimes add the popcorn prawns as a starter, and also love the fajita (the +add ons are a must!) now and then when in the mood to build your own. They also do a good limited weekday lunch special for $18 including a drink.

My favourite restaurant in South Melbourne! I continuously go back to this place. The food and staff are amazing! They go beyond and above and recognize loyal customers. Can’t recommend enough.

I have come here a couple of times with friends for dinner & we have always had a great time with wonderful service. The staff are lovely! I came in tonight to use my generous birthday voucher that was sent as part of the loyalty club for Taco Bill & everything was delicious. Highly recommend! The drinks list is also huge, with lots of fun flavours!

Best Taco Bill! The best staff I have come across and so understanding of dietary requirements. Provided with amazing service and even better food (value for your money). Good and tasty Mexican food. The frozen marg needs a bit more tequila though. Staff are good and friendly. We visit often and never had a bad meal. Place is spotlessly clean too.

Best Taco Bill Around‼️ Honestly, my favourite taco bill, it’s so much better than the ones in the city. Customer service is amazing, shout out to the team who handled the Saturday dinner rush! The manager is amazing, Shoebz, biggest of the shout out to him. Very hospitable, treats everyone like family.

First time customer and it was a 10/10. Service was on point even considering the number of customers to staff. The food was fantastic and was cooked to perfection. The Illusion cocktail was also amazing and very relaxing.

Consistent, it's not the best in the world, but we live in Australia so it's hard to get authentic Mexican/Spanish food. Very tasty, 10/10 when drunk and 7/10 when sober. Go in don't deliver as it's not the best at travelling. Been going here for like 10+ years and it's never disappointing

Love this Taco Bill. Owner is warm and hospitable, the staff are friendly and love their workplaces. It’s super clean and value for money! The food is consistently great and they prepare it super fast but it’s well packed. My favourite Taco Bill by far I can see why they have been around for 50+ years and weathered Covid. Best Mexican!

One word comes to mind when thinking of dining here… Wonderful! The food is great, the ambiance is lovely, and the staff are both speedy and genuinely happy to be there. Look forward to our next time.

The owner and staff are so generous and provide a great overall service. Delicious food with excellent value. I got the combination meal which is great for an indecisive girly and it was only $24 what?! Will definitely be back within the month
