Best place in Somerville for a beer! Food is great too. Can't wait to check out their new place when it opens in Hastings

Very warm and genuine welcome from the staff when we walked in and it just continued on from there. Good banter. Good service. Good beers. I wish it was a bit closer to us but we'll just have to make the effort to go more often. Update: the place is still a gem. They're moving to Hastings in October 2023, which is probably about 10 - 15 minutes further away, but we will still go there.

Small little brewery we found on maps and thought to check them out. We got a tasting paddle and a few pots. All their beers are pretty tasty but the standouts were the Robust Porter and Red Rye IPA. We didn't get to try food, but will next time we are in the area. Place has a nice vibe to it, was cute seeing an elderly grandma having a pint on her own.

Small and simple Tap House. A very good selection of beers covering a classic style spectrum from their delightful light, and very sessionable Grisette, to a beautifully heavy, dark Porter. It's all brewed locally in very small batches too. They have a small but good food menu which accompanies the beer well. If you have non-beer drinkers with you, then they also offer a selection of wines. Add to this staff who are knowledgeable, dedicated, and provide excellent service, and you have a very compelling proposition for a casual drink with good friends. Highly recommended.

The best local craft beer... The brewers are happy to share their knowledge and chat with customers... Oh, and the tasty blue cheese pizza goes extremely well with an equally hearty IPA or Porter...

This was a great midweek burger and beer catch up with mates. A great selection of beers and your option of pizza or burger menu, and the onion rings are a must…. A great atmosphere with friendly and attentive team - if you want a relaxed catch up with mates this is the place to head.

Came here for beer and food and had a great two hour session. The staff were awesome, beers were great and pizzas, burgers and chips were yum! Get on it!

Try the red rye IPA

The food was pretty good! The sweet potato fries were delicious - a little on the overcooked side, but I prefer that to soggy. The pizza hit the spot. I loved playing games while waiting for our food to come. The best part of the was by far the service. The staff was so friendly and helpful - I'd come back just because of them!

Tidy range of very approachable beers. The coconut IPA was the pick for me. Quality food & board games on offer too. Ripper spot for an afternoon.
