I reached out to Melika to help out with a proposal/engagement shoot during our trip to Seattle, WA. Process: Originally, my plan was to propose to my fiancé at Snoqualmie Falls. Melika headed to the location early and informed us that we wouldn’t be able to make it to the falls due to a downed power line blocking the road. She quickly recommended a few other alternative locations that were not too far from our position and had a similar setting we were looking for. Ultimately, we went with Kubota Gardens. During the shoot, she was extremely helpful with photo location/scenery selection, our positioning for the photo and adjusting the surrounding environment (i.e. if there are people in the background etc.), which is really helpful as my fiancé and I are not good at posing for pictures or know how to pose. Results: To say the least, I was extremely impressed with Melika’s photography skills. Not only was she able to capture the moment and the beautiful scenery we were in but she was very diligent with exposure and aperture adjustments that made the photos turn out even more beautiful. In addition, many of the photos were just plain breathtaking and really helped us capture the moment and create memories that we will look back on for a lifetime. On top of that, her turnaround time on our photos was quick! I was expecting about a week or so but she finished all the photo in just under a couple days. Super-efficient to say the least  Melika will definitely be my go-to photographer for any of my or my friends and families’ photography needs in the Pacific Northwest. She made us feel comfortable and really enjoy the moment. Also, she is personable and attentive to detail. She is fun to work with and we definitely had a blast taking photos with her! I highly, highly recommend her if you are looking for an exceptional photographer in the Seattle area! Look no further, she is THE BEST!

Melika is amazing! We liked her so much after she did our engagement pictures that we ended up asking her to do our entire wedding. She captures the perfect moments in her “candid” shots and has great ideas in doing “posed” shots working with whatever is in the background. I booked Melika for a session for our maternity photos, and let me just say wow! She blew us out of the water. She was early, sweet, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She gave us suggestions for positions and was extremely patient with us as we wanted our puppy to be a part of the photos, and our puppy was not working with us Lol. We booked a last minute, one-hour shoot with Melika on a recent visit to Seattle to get some shots out 15 year old daughter who is a musician. Booking was extremely quick and easy. Melika was very professional but also so Much fun to work with and our daughter felt so comfortable with her which was reflected in the final images. We had a certain “look” in mind and we’re so thrilled because Melika captured EXACTLY what we were hoping for and went above and beyond what we were expecting.
