I called Sweet Masterpiece from out of state. I have family who lives in the Oregon City area of and I wanted to surprise them with a birthday cake that can be personalized and delivered. I called the same day as my cousins birthday and within three hours this bakery had decorated a cake and hand-delivered it to him. It’s a beautiful cake, plus it made my his day. The lady who took the order was very professional and friendly. The cake is exactly how she described it would be. The cake is a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting with added chocolate ganache. My cousin loves chocolate! Happy Customer here.

Hands down the best bakery. They use only the best ingredients and really know what they’re doing! They offer vegan cupcakes that are BETTER than any regular cupcakes you’ve tried. They even make dairy free frosting without canola oil that will have you thinking you’re cheating and eating dairy. They are known for their chocolate discs that come with an assortment of tasty toppings. Can’t recommend this shop enough!

The owners were extremely friendly and willing to bake and try anything new. I am celiac and a diabetic and they made a sugar free and gluten free cupcakes that were some of THE best I have ever had! Highly recommended!

My husband and I ordered 10 cheesecakes of 5 different flavors for our wedding. They made each one so perfect and beautiful, very good at listening to what we wanted. So helpful with planning and helping us with tips for caring and storage for the day of. We chose some crazy flavors and not once did they turn an idea down or even studder with our options. Truly amazing to work with and even gave us ideas!

I dont have a Valentine otherwise I would have picked up their Truffles💔 Great gluten free cupcakes and cheesecake, what?!! Mindblowing variety and I appreciate their serious attention to allergens.

Crystal at Sweet Masterpieces was so helpful and accommodating. She created a special 25th birthday cake for my daughter that not only tasted amazing it meet all dietary restrictions we have. Non-dairy, gluten free and soy free is not an easy thing to find. Crystal also made sure the cake would travel to the coast and the frosting would not melt. I will purchase all my cakes from Sweet Masterpieces from now on. Thank you for your extra care and thoughtfulness!

No photos, but we had the most amazing fresh from the oven chocolate cookies with olive oil and sea salt! Also tasty was the raspberry cupcake and ginger molasses cookie.

Natural ingredients, beautiful presentation and perfect execution! Guests said it was the best cake they have ever had at a wedding! We did lavender lemon, red velvet, chocolate ganache, buttercream frosting. So good!

I was having a major pregnancy craving for something delicious and cakey and this place hit the spot!! As my only option for food, it has to be gluten and dairy-free. They were so welcoming and had a very cozy place. They had some options for me to choose even though it was evening time and on a whim. I'm thrilled to learn that they have so many enjoyable options for everyones needs requesting in advance! Best gluten and dairy-free cupcakes, macaroons and chocolate ever! Super delicious!! I literally forgot that I had dietary issues while enjoying everything I bought. And I've tried so many places in or around Portland this place is now my #1. Thank you so much Crystal for helping me, I can't wait to come back for more and order cakes for special occasions!

Sweet Masterpiece neither sweet nor a masterpiece! I ordered a gluten free dairy free cake. Paid for it. Subsequently changed my order to remove the dairy free requirement. Cost difference was $4.00 which owner didn’t think was significant enough to refund to me and kept it. It’s not the $4, it’s the principle. Cake was to be ready for pickup at 1pm, it wasn’t ready until 1:20. The cake was plain and not what I expected…especially because the owner had assured me it would be beautiful. Um…I could have done a prettier job of decorating this cake myself. The cake slid off the platter as picture shows despite the short and careful drive from shop to home. The cake itself was dense and hadn’t been baked properly, the vanilla buttercream frosting had no sweetness at all; it tasted like pure butter and was rather gross and oily in the mouth. The cake was overpriced but when I ordered, the owner boasted that she would provide a beautiful and delicious cake, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. Finally, the owners neither apologized for the cake not being ready as promised nor for making us wait for it. Rude. Additionally, the day of ordering, I purchased an oatmeal cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, a cheesecake tart and a creme brûlée tart ($20!!) The cookies were mediocre and the other cheesecake and creme brûlée were average. Extremely Disappointing.

Highly recommend this bakery and sweet shop! We ordered my oldest son's birthday cake from there two months back and he enjoyed the whole process: from visiting the shop and talking with Krystal about what he wanted for the filling, cake, icing and decoration, to the surprise of actually seeing it with candles on. Cake was delicious and gluten free! My husband couldn't believe it. They bake from scratch with quality, natural ingredients. Today its time to call in for our middle son's cake. He is so excited....

Sweet Masterpiece made several dozen deliciously beautiful cupcakes for my sister’s 30th birthday. The way she had displayed the cupcakes was gorgeous. And all the flavors satisfied every guest’s personal preference. Customer service was excellent I will be using Sweet Masterpiece in the future.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go. Delicious choices of chocolate, cookies, and cakes. Brought our friends here and blew their mind. Crystal, the owner, is super helpful and friendly. Also love the vegan options!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We have gone into this location several times for different small baked items-cookies and such. However, on one of our visits my husband had a nice conversation with the owners about How much she loved banana cream pie and she suggested her “wonderful” banana cake. We ended up ordering this cake for his birthday and it was not at all how it was described. The cake part itself was good however the frosting was just like someone took a stick of butter, whipped it up and put it on the cake. It was not sweet at all and had no flavor. The frosting that was described to us was a cream cheese frosting. This was definitely not that. Also, when we opened the box, the top layer of the cake had slid off and was pretty unsightly for a birthday party! Overall, for the price, pretty disappointing. Also, as I understand it, my daughter and her husband who had ordered the cake and picked it up we’re not treated nicely by the owner. It was promised at five and when they tried to pick it up it was not done and had in fact not been started. My son-in-law had to pay an extra $20 to get it expedited so that he could get to our birthday party on time. As it was, he was late due to having to wait for the cake. This is just not acceptable for a small business Who presumably counts on local support.

Was delighted to find this cozy Chocolate shop. Came back the next two days to sample more. The lemon tart is divine. A perfect blend of sweet and sour. The flourless chocolate cake is pure chocolate bliss with a perfect melt in your mouth texture. Everything we sampled was delicious with an attention to flavor, texture and sweetness. The couple that own the shop are an absolute delight to talk to and the care they take into each confection is evident by their descriptions. I cannot recommend this enough. Absolute perfection.

I stopped by this fabulous small business on a whim as I was having a sweet craving...I was blown away by the selection, friendly owners, and amazing flavors! Crystal told me all about their process and the history of the business while packing up my assortment of cupcakes, truffles, brownies, & individual cheesecakes. The chocolate cupcakes with blueberries and lavender on top of the frosting were divine! The orange geranium macron was sublime! I can't recommend this Sweet Masterpiece enough!! Thank you!!

Just bought a goodie from here. The guy who helped me was so kind and respectful. He told me what was what and even gave a little history about some of the pastries as to where they originate from!
