Our boaters club rented out the main large group area for dinner and it was lovely. Plenty of space for all of us with lots of windows and a lofted ceiling. Good access from the marina and a pleasant location. Club was maintained well. Also saw a bunch of deer when leaving the facility at night, fun!

Great little yacht club in a gorgeous setting. Friendly people, very welcoming, they run an awesome yearly race called Northern Century that is super hard, super fun, and always rewarding. Can't say enough good things about the club and the members!

We were there to kayak, so I can't speak to the yacht club facilities themselves, but the Anacortes marina is really nice with lots of public amenities. The restrooms are large and clean, and have showers and plenty of room to change into a wetsuit. There are nice gazebos and picnic tables overlooking the marina. In addition, it's very friendly to the public and welcoming for all water users.

AYC is the second oldest Yacht Club in Washington, but is a modern facility. With members ranging from young to old, and motor and sail-driven boaters of all kinds, AYC is a pleasant place to spend an evening. Sail races are held Wednesday nights, and other maritime events throughout the year. It is a Club, so you must either be a member or a member's guest to partake of the $5 meals or to drink at the cash bar when available, but if you're interested in joining or you are a sailor, come on in! The recently expanded and renovated building is also available to hire for private events such as weddings, etc.

There are a few dry spots to park a camper or trailer when you come to the marina. If you rent a spot you can also use the showers, wi-fi and check out a bicycle to take a ride around the town. The town is charming, the shipyard hosts some very large vessels you can see from the road and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Great group of sailors with a welcoming atmosphere towards other sailors. The low cost beverages are always extra tasty too!
