First time here the other night and there were a number of things that were off putting. The first thing was the girl working the counter pulled a fresh pizza off a tray, wiped it down with a dirty rag, and threw it back on top of the pizza oven. The second thing was she tried to give me a slice that consisted of about 50 percent bread bubble with no cheese or toppings. She was visibly annoyed I requested a different slice and was rude about it. The third thing is they keep full kegs for the bar in the corner of the bathroom. These are not blown kegs. Full kegs waiting to be tapped. In the bathroom. Gross. I will not ever come back. Read through the other reviews, clearly there is a problem here.

I'm not gonna lie; I was drinking and doing Capitol Hill stuff, but man, something about this pizza hits different. While I was in line, a man behind me raved how as an Uber driver who lives 90 miles outside of the city, he WILLINGLY drives to Cap Hill for a slice of pie in the middle of the night because it's THAT good. I was not disappointed. The restauranteurs use premium pepperoni slices and generously sprinkle the pie with it. The crust has that classic NY-style crunch that you can't find anywhere else. I loved the pizza so much that I went back for a second helping and ate it at a temperature that scorched my mouth. HOLY MOTHER OF SMOKES - this is good pie! I look forward to eating it sober and non-sober. :)

Great place to grab a couple slices and couple pints! But also I would definitely just take a whole pie home to finish after smoking a nice joint. You can order online for pick or delivery using the Toast app, which we did this time around. My go to is pepperoni ofcourse but they have special pizzas like the Coppa Cobana and Pear Gorgonzola 🍐

Pizza by the slice. Was good. Lines were long. Bar type scene loud but nice atmosphere. We ordered pizza to eat outside. Was a little cold even they heated it up in the oven, but was great! I’m happy they carry vegan pizza options.

This is the spot to blow off steam. Such a great forget it all vibe. Eat pizza and drink booze.... That is all. The slices are crispy and perfect. Make sure to ask for your pizza slice with the crispy you need. Shots here are triples, so be ready for the full send. The VHS player has a full stack of tapes ready for all your 80s memories. Can't recommend making this do enough.... It's raw, fun, and ready to go!!!

Easy and delicious. The slice of mushroom and onion pizza had a great crust texture and chew. Nothing special about this dive bar but worth a slice for sure.

Used to be great. What happened? This is the slice I was served. No I hadn’t taken a bite.

I've never had a bad slice here. I also love the no-nonsense bartenders. Big Mario’s is always a good time. It can be hard to get a bar seat on Friday or Saturday night.

My daughter and I stopped by and grabbed a couple of great slices and some Seattle Soda. There was no line, the NY Style pizza was great. I’ll be back for some beer.

Amazing amazing pizza. Thin crust NY style crispy pizza. Slices the size of your head. Like truly great street pizza. Get napkins. You will get oily as ever.

I have a tight lunch schedule and decided to stop by to get a to go slice. It was good enough pizza that I decided to bring my friend to get a slice two days later. I had slice of the Sicilian and is was scrumtious. Only thing is the seating inside is 21+ so if you get something and your under 21 it has to be to go. Definitely recommend if you need a quick bite, in and out in under 3-5 minutes depending on the line.

Wandered into this place and immediately loved it. You can get a slice in the front or walk back to the bar and hang out. Good selection of local beers and the bar keep made some nice drinks for my friends. Eventually got to the pizza and its above average. They had Veg/Vegan options on the ready and are very welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. Check it out you won't be disappointed!

Good pizza choices; as the night goes on the slice choices get slimmer, but still a good variety. They’re open til 2am on weekend which is a bonus. One-two slices per person is a fair among to get the bellies full.

I love that the pizza holds its own, is always the right amount of crispy, while still having plenty of cheese and toppings. They’re extremely quick even when there is a line, and I love the atmosphere especially at night.

I eat here often as a dine in slice and beer lunch place. It is good. But when you take the pie home and it cools you realize it’s not that great. And I love cold pizza. I almost prefer it. So I decided to write a review. The dough is good. The ovens are alright. It’s a properly toasted and chewy pizza. No issue there. But the sauce and cheese ratio seems inconsistent and the sauce has been off recently. It is too salty and spicy. It needs more sweetness to balance out their stanky hot pepperoni. Dine in, or forget it.

I always drove by but I was too busy to stop in. Anyways the other day I just pulled over into the turn lane flip my hazards on, and I was in and out within 5 minutes. The slices are huge and the selection is good, You just pick what you want they grab it and stick it in the oven and next thing you know you are eating some really really good pizza. There's also a place outside to eat undercover, and the atmosphere is very Urban but cozy at the same time. Honestly I didn't know New York style pizza could taste so good.

The pizza was delicious we were so happy with it we ordered another pizza! It was Halloween weekend and it was decorated and very spooky, I loved the atmosphere. the place was small and cozy. The bar was full. They have bathrooms too. Craving this place still. Can't wait to go back. Best pizza I've had in Washington.

Absolutely love this pizza, I crave it! It’s just such great flavor, it’s not 80%bread it’s just the right mixture. I’m only happy I don’t live closer becuse I would eat here daily!
