First they went under new management and buried someone else in my parents lots. They said they renumbered the whole cemetery, oops. Imagine having to prove you OWN two lots and then having to pick lots not close to my parent's parents and other family members? It was a horrible experience. Then when I needed to actually bury someone, I asked to renegotiate the original purchase (not a reimbursement but give up one lot to pay for the additional expenses of the other), they said they don't do that. Calvery Cemetery does. Remember that - especially when buying and then not using your lot(s) for 30+ years.

My husband and I have been so frail walking this road of losing our 8 yr old daughter. The first person I talked to was Levi and he was extremely gentle and caring as I asked a multitude of questions. We went in and met Jalynn. I didn’t realize that planning a funeral is as complicated as planning a wedding. It’s very overwhelming. Jalynn listened and had advice on ways we could do things or what we could skip. She made it clear we could do what we wanted to do. There’s no set way to proceed a funeral. Especially for a child. She listened to us and catered this experience to our daughter and us. It was beautiful. There was no pressure, or I would have snapped, it was all what we wanted for our baby girl. Jalynn communicated every step and had gentle reminders when we needed to get things done. She honored our wishes no matter how unique and she sent me text messages with all the steps of cremation. I wanted to know what was going on and she made sure I knew what was happening.

I didn't use their services but felt I needed to let you know my experience. My father died on the 10th and I was told to give evergreen a call by the chaplain at the hospital she told me they would treat me great. So I called and asked if they could do a military burial at Tahoma and asked if I could get a price quote. She told me she was new at that she would have someone call me asap. She asked for my name and my father's name and the hospital he was at. I waited almost 2 hours before I started calling other funeral homes. No big deal right??? WRONG!! I NEVER GOT A CALL. I decided to go with someone else. No big deal till this point instead of calling me for information they sent someone to pick my dad up. If it wasn't for me writing the name of the people I did go with and give the nurse my number my dad would have been taken. They couldn't be bothered with calling me but they did find time to try to steal my dad!!.

After the awful experience of losing my husband, I was so grateful at how wonderful "Candace" handled everything for us! She was kind and caring from start to finish! She listened to our wishes and followed each and every one of them!! Thank you Candace!!

This is very old cemetery/grave yard in town many of my family members are buried here, it also has several important people buried here it has the very large Rucker's Tomb sits on one of the highest places in the cemetery, this was one of the founding families of Everett, also the great united states senator Henry M.Jackson who was born and raised in Everett he is also buried here also President Barak Obama's great great Grandmother is also buried here there's over 150 Cival war veterans that are buried here. They have filmed many scenes for movies in this cemetery one with Sylvester stalone and Antonio Banderas the movie was Assassins, there's so many people that made Everett what it is are buried right here, much of Everett's history is in this cemetery, please be respectful if you visit here.

I could not more highly recommend Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery. They did an incredible job with my dad 9 years ago and then now with my mom. There was no mistaking that they truly cared. They walked my siblings and I through every step and were very flexible. The viewing was so comforting and tasteful. It provides much needed closure. My mom handled everything with my dad and so I didn’t know all of the steps involved. What was such a heartwarming tough was the picking up of the ashes. I was so upset about needing to go pick them up but what can you do? When I got there, they had the most beautiful floral and plant arrangement done for my mom, a lovely poem and candle holder. It made me feel so happy to see such a lovely thing done for my mom and I will be forever grateful. Something I was so much dreading turned out to be such a healing and heartwarming experience. I truly can’t think of anything they could have done to ease our journey. ❤️

The Evergreen Funeral Home and Cypress Lawn staff was very professional and very caring for the difficult time of loosing a loved one. My grandma had to be transferred from North Carolina and everything was able to be prearranged via phone and email. The service and burial went beautiful with no issues. It all went as planned. Every staff member saw to each detail regarding the service and what was needed by the family even to the smallest member of my family. I am so appreciative of their highest level of care. The facilities are very beautiful and well taken care of with a gorgeous view of the mountains.

Evergreen funeral home did a great job with my dad funeral. Levi and Lana were really kind and helpful assisting my mom and I throughout the whole process. It was really overwhelming dealing with the whole thing but they made it a lot easier. I love how we were able to incorporate our tradition by having monks at the funeral. The whole staff team were wonderful with assisting us and the guests. Overall, I would recommend Evergreen funeral home.

My family felt very taken care of by Evergreen memorial. In one of the most stressful and sad times in our lives we were treated with the perfect amount of compassion and understanding. Things were explained without us feeling like our questions were silly. Lana is the ultimate professional, communicated all the way through the process. Other places we went to be honest before we settled on Evergreen we felt the staff was awkward. We expected this because of the nature of this business, however Lana was terrific; smiled when appropriate; which made us feel comfortable. We would absolutely recommend any family who is looking for a beautiful place to lay there loved ones to rest to check them out.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the people at Evergreen funeral home. My 16 and 17 year old daughters were murdered... They made sure to take care of as much on their end as possible. My emotions were through the roof and I was absolutely not an easy person to deal with at that time. They made sure to stay professional and empathetic through my rollercoaster of emotions. Jalynn was an absolute angel through this entire miserable process of losing a loved one, and I cannot imagine having had to do this without her. Empathy, compassion, and attention to detail were never missed or made low priority through all aspects of postmortem care for our loved one, and I would not hesitate to recommend her and the Evergreen team to anyone who has recently experienced a loss & is in need of funeral services.

We had a little hiccup in the beginning and Levi jumped all over it to fix the problem and provided excellent service from that point on. He was empathetic and patient and the service and reception setup were perfect.

Unfortunately I had a viewing funeral on June 25th 2022 for the loss of my 32 year-old son Evergreen Funeral Home is the best place that you can go for comfort and care they treat you so nicely and they're very compassionate I would not choose anywhere else to go to say goodbye to my loved ones

The team was very professional and effective in telling us the process, what we’re getting, and expectations. They were very responsive and sympathetic to our concerns. I loved the way the funeral director made it so calming when I went to go pick up my mom's remains she had her in a box which was then put in a velvet bag that was surrounded by candles and flowers along with a sail boat and a poem. It was such an amazing experience then she carried the remains for me out to my car. I very much loved this place.

Our experience although it was a very difficult one. They really made us feel like a part of their family. You could really feel their genuine support and I was really impressed with how clean and beautiful their funeral home is. They made my son look so beautiful and sharp. Lana did an outstanding job listening to our needs and helping us put together the best options for our family. I cannot say enough how difficult these times have been with a dying loved one during the pandemic. After mom's death on Mother's Day, Lana and Leda were an incredible blessing to our family and the process was seemless. Their communication with our family was timely and continual through each portion of the process. From the transpotation of mom from Wenatchee to receiving mom at Evergreen, we were given a caring call. I am grateful for the Evergreen team and their care for mom and our family.

I think this is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I have ever seen. The older part near where Rucker's Tomb is has so much historical fascination and beauty to it. There's something incredibly magical about it. I love going there to ground and center myself when life gets me down. I have also done several incredible photo shoots there over the years too. Everyone wants to photograph the goth girl at a cemetery! Amazing to me how a place that people are put to rest in, and are generally sites of grief, can fill one with so much positivity and happiness. I also think it's really cool that a scene from Assassins, starring Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas was filmed here (towards the beginning). When the car in the scene drives off after a shootout during a funeral, they exit over the bridge /sharp curve Broadway takes over the freeway entrance. They cut the shot right before you would see the sign that says Welcome to the city of Everett.

Excellent service. My brother and I came to Evergreen Funeral Home to finalize funeral arrangements for our mother who is still living. We came without an appointment, but were taken right in and made to feel welcome. The person who helped us was Lana (Svetlana). She was able to help us learn what my mom had arranged in the past, and what still needed to be done. Though no one necessarily wants to need the service of a funeral home, i would certainly recommend Evergreen Funeral Home. 10/31 update Very thankful for the staff at Evergreen Funeral Home. Mom passed away on Oct 12th. They worked to keep us informed of their process and coordinating with our Funeral Home in Pennsylvania. Would certainly recommend using their services.

We just had my husband's father buried here. The staff was uniformly warm and sensitive to just how we wanted things to be arranged. Rei and Lana helped us with decision making, and Paul did a marvelous job as our "celebrant", leading the services including a eulogy which covered the 90 years of his life. The food served at the reception was exceptionally good; especially the charcuterie style cheese plate. Thanks to all.

We have used Evergreen for all family memorials, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Really like the staff here. We've especially worked closely with Levi and Lana. Although losing someone is very difficult, they answer questions and attend to the myriad of details to make it a smooth, thoughtful, and positive experience. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
