Back in early February, my friend and I decided to make a trip to Denny's Pet World all the way from Silverdale just to take a look at what all was available. The store is very nice and well put together. All of the birds, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and reptiles looked very healthy and active. Little did I know that after having spent almost an hour contemplating buying a snake, I would end up going home with one! I've had my corn snake for roughly 3 months now and I'm happy to report that she's doing great. The staff was extremely knowledgeable at answering all of my questions. I would most definitely recommend Denny's 👌🏼

Denny's is always a wonderful experience, staff is very knowledgeable on their departments and they know specials like the back of their hand. We've adopted several hamsters from Denny's over the past few years and they've all been sociable and healthy. Their breeders are all local (they do not disclose names for privacy) and I find the animals have a much better nature and health than corporate pet stores. They also provide a lot of safer products for small animals, and ensure people are aware of human housing requirements. 10/10 pet store, we always come for our pet supplies be it for our dog, cats, or smaller babies.

Good selection of fish and aquarium supplies but terrible service. There are about 4 people working the fish room and they helped every customer but me. After 20 minutes of waiting to be helped I just left. That’s about the time all the staff just started bantering and talking shop. I really wanted to grab some plants and a showstopper fish for my 55g. I’m on my way to Aquarium Co Op now.

Amazing store, professional and knowledgeable staff, thoughtful selection and variety of supplies for any types of pets! They have rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, fish, parakeets for adoption! It is allowed to pet their rabbits! Highly recommend for parents of kids with special needs who seek a pet for their emotional support! It is the right place!

Great selection, staff is extremely helpful. I went there to get some feeder goldfish, for the kids to keep as pets in their playroom. They I wanted dark dark orange, but Denny’s only had two available but told me to come back on Friday afternoon because they get their shipment then. They did have tons, I mean the tank was loaded full of silver, light orange and spotted ones. I highly recommend Denny’s Pet World, 5 stars and I’ll be back.

Thomas and Stella helped my son and me set up a shrimp tank. They were both extremely helpful and patient during the process. I had a lot of questions and concerns since this is my first tank. They were very knowledgeable and shared really great tips. The entire staff are very welcoming. I will definitely go back to Dennys for any future purchases.

Bought two beautiful parakeets here and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the help they gave me with my new birds. This is a great place for buying birds, fish and reptiles. Definitely would come again for all any needs.

Zack is absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable about the tarantulas and any pet they keep in stock. I come here to purchase. He’s helped us many times and is as personable today as ever! I came in because my beloved guppies (below) were sick. Their fish department wasn’t just helpful, but they don’t blame me and their tone was welcoming and instructive. I bought my medicine, and today, a week later, my wonderful guppies are healthy, strong, and energetic!

Tremendous selection! This place has it all. I was impressed by their tropical fish display and aquarium gear. Better than any “big box” store.

Helpful, patient and knowledgeable - well I felt like a bit of a noob coming in with a fish tank project that I’d almost finished but didn’t have any equipment spaced out for it, but Jonathan was a legend! He helped me find filters that would work and walked me through all the basics of Aquariums and how to clean and take care of them! Safe to say my 4 year old little boy is stoked with his new fish tank!

I have been buying fish from here for about a year now and I have been very appreciative of all the help I have received from all the fish employees they are always willing to take time to help me and answer my questions and never are annoyed if it takes up a lot of their time. I also want to say Jason who works there is awesome, he has so much knowledge about fish and truly cares about them. I would not have successfully been able to keep some of the fish in my tanks if it wasn’t for him. He is always extremely nice and I will 100% be back to get more fish from him.

They take really good care of the animals in their care and really friendly and knowledgeable staff. They tend to be busy especially in the aquarium section so it's best to go off peak hours to buy fish or ask fish questions. Reptile and exotics supplies are a bit lacking but that's generally to be expected for a general pet store though they do have a pretty impressive variety of exotics for sale including snakes, geckos, chameleons, spiders, and various bugs including clean up crews.

I purchased my hamster and all of the supplies for his new home today. Every staff I talked to was so helpful and took the time to talk to me even though it was Sunday and the store was pretty busy. Thank you for great customer service and I will definitely be back to buy for supplies for my hamster!

I have a deposit down a Quaker Parrot and I love that they encourage us to come visit. I've been going to see Monty about every other day. Not only do I get to hold and love on my bird but we are already bonding ! Jesse is amazing ! So much knowledge too. I can't wait to bring my baby bird home !

I stopped here after I ran into a guard rail while my dog was moving around the car. Rachel listened to my story and immediately went to work suggesting different ways to secure him and calming treats to help his panic. Which I purchased and immediately put to use. The store itself has a nice clean look and feel with understandable organization and even a kitty adoption room. All the staff and I believe all the customers were practicing covid safe measures.

Helpful people. They care about their customers and will work with you to help you be successful with your pets, especially from my experience with their fish. They have a nice selection of fish, decorations, food, and other supplies.

This was my first time visiting Denny's Pet World and I wasn't disappointed! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, the animals there are well taken care of, and it's a VERY clean store. I wish I would have caught this guys name, he has glasses and is in the fish area, but he was AWESOME! He answered all my questions about getting algae off my tank and what snails to get for a cleaner tank. Great place, will definitely be going back!

Excellent pet shop, very knowledgeable and helpful staff! We received help from Jessie when we got our first fish tank. He is awesome and took us through setting up our fish tank along with expert advise on the dos and don'ts. Denny's will be our one stop pet shop for us and I definitely recommend it for pets and pet accessories!

This is a well rounded pet store for all pets. We did go thinking there was saltwater fish but they do not carry saltwater any more. I do own a dog and was very impressed with the choice of they had to offer. Definitely a store to at least check out.

I have been going to Denny's Pet World for at least 15 years. I love to support small local business, and of course had to get my Makaw fix by visiting "Tiki" at least once a week. Sadly she has passed, and I just want to say to the Owners, we loved her so, so much!! I could go online to buy my Parrots pricey Organic Biscuits, but I always shop at Denny's, great birdie toys, and they also sell some smaller Parrots, Conures, and Caiques, also, Finches, Canaries, and Budgies! I enjoy looking at some of the Snakes, Lizards, Geckos, Spiders, and Hampsters. They have an enormous selection of Cat and Dog foods ( the good kind), & small critter toys. I love how Denny's supports the local Humane society they had Adoptable rescue Cats before the Pandemic, in a sper cool Cat Room, but now they have adoption events. The only criticism.......please Denny's, get rid of the fish that are sold in those awful cups, its just plain inhumane, and it just does not align with how awesome your store is.

A family owned Kirkland establishment since 1974, this community leader has proven time and again their dedication to our pets! We love the self serve dog wash and so does Oscar. It is always sparkling clean and there are many shampoos to choose from as well as grooming tools and fresh clean towels. Their selection of pet food is extraordinary! Whether you are looking for dry, canned or fresh frozen, you’ll find it here. Oscar especially liked the treat aisle and of course, a trip through the aquarium so he could see the fish. They always have bunnies, birds and reptiles too. I love that they frequently have adoption events and annual pet food sales. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is another plus. Very knowledgeable staff and the store is always clean. They also have a large selection of fish and do their best to quarantine them prior to selling them, something that most fish stores don't do. The 14 day guarantee for the fish is also nice.

Most knowledgeable aquatics staff I have ever encountered. Best fish guarantee around. Customer service and experience is unmatched. Customer for life.

It's a nice place, they have some good avian and aquatic pets for sell. Fish are usually in good health and reasonably priced. Accessories seems to be slightly on expensive side compared to online retailers or chain stores.

Have 10-15% pets and the rest is items for sale. Fishes look healthy as well as other pets. Love to visit this place and check out. Would be nice to see bigger variety of pets.

Love this place! Our six year old daughter always enjoys a trip to Denny's. They frequently have a large array of animals in the store - birds, mice, hamsters, lizards, spiders, fish, guinea pigs, and bunnies. They have a great selection of animal supplies and the best customer service. Highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area.

Went for the first time this weekend when realizing we were out of Hedgehog bedding. The pricing wasn't too bad, a little more expensive that can be had online but they had a fantastic choice of stock on hand. It's a great resource and was well kept. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely spent the extra to keep them in business.

Good selection, well kept store, and friendly employees. Some prices may be a bit higher than the big chain stores but this is a recommended stop especially when looking for fish supplies.

I stopped by here after work one day, place is huge and seems to have tons of inventory on anything you need for your pets. Atmosphere felt welcoming, and I did have a nice gentlemen ask me if I needed any help. I gave this place only 3 stars because the cat section which is what o came for, seem to be lack luster and out of stock on a lot of things. But mainly what did it for me was the customer service at the check out... older lady cashiered me out but it was kinda awkward getting her attention, there was 4 workers behind the counter and all saw me walk up but nobody bothered to cashier me out as they were too busy trying to finish their conversation about weekend plans and yoga.. I tried making small talk with the older lady but she just seemed bothered. I’ll definitely come back and try again and see if the cashier/front end atmosphere has changed. Otherwise it’s a pass from me.

It’s a tad bit difficult getting in and out of the location but they have EVERYTHING! Highly recommended.
