The store itself is really good and well maintained however the assistant groomer doesn’t know what they are doing and can’t cut nails of a dog. They blamed my dog for showing his teeth when they were cutting too deep into his nails and now he is banned from all Petcos from getting groomed. Every other groomer that he has been to never had a problem. TLDR: don’t go to the assistant groomer when they are by themselves. They don’t know how to handle the pet and is an assistant for a reason

Have had good experience in the past with my pet grooming with Robin but the recent visit was terrible. Couldn't find an appointment with Robin so we scheduled an appointment with Mae K at this location. The groomer clearly didn't know how to interact with a dog. Approached my dog with a lease over his head without any greeting or letting him sniff her. My dog (who is 12 pounds) got scared and nipped her on her hand and they refused service. I understand that it's for the safety of your employees but you should really train them to approach and interact with dogs better (otherwise there are gonna be a lot more such instances). My dog has been to vets and groomers many times and have never had any issues before (including last time at the same location with Robin!). Anyone who has ever interacted with a dog knows that you have to let them sniff you before you can touch/pet them (esp if you are a stranger to the dog). The manager kept saying my dog is banned from Petco now. Very upsetting and disappointing the way they treated my dog. Won't be going back again for haircuts or anything else. There are plenty great local pet stores. Avoid Mae K at all cost if you have to go to here btw. Robin is the best groomer here if you can find an appointment with her.

Terrible grooming services! I took my dog for grooming appointment on 5/14/2022. I brought him at Interbay Petco in Seattle. I specifically asked groomer to wash his face and around the ears. When I picked him up he still has stains around his face and belly area, and his nails wasn’t trimmed. Tina, the groomer lead left me voicemail next day and said she wants to make it right. I called more than 10 times, left 4 voicemails and no one returned my call. I contacted customer service and they couldn’t do anything. They contacted the store and said they will call me within 24 hr. It’s been over 3 days and no one call me again.

Great people at the store. They are always helpful and friendly. The groomers are very busy. The skill levels very widely, so if you care about which groomer you get, book well ahead of time. But also know that they can change last minute. Be kind to them. They have very busy schedule. Overall very professional and helpful staff.

We visited this Petco for a Dog training session with Luis and were very impressed. The session was a lot of fun, very informative and helpful. Luis has a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to dogs and training. He was great with our shy puppy, listened to what he had been doing and gave great tips. It was a very welcoming store and we plan to make many more visits in the future with our pup.

This review is for grooming services. Mae has worked on Minnie (our 10lb Cavapoo) twice and has done a fantastic job both times! Mae has a calming, kind presence and craft for dog grooming. While we were happy with the end result after the first time, we had some additional requests this time, and Mae was gracious and receptive. Just picked Minnie up from her second groom and Mae applied all feedback perfectly. We are so happy to have found Mae and look forward to coming back to work with Mae!

Absolutely horrid customer service at this location . The manager , David informed me they do hire criminals and allow them to remain employed regardless of the crime they commit. One of their employees Ryan Vanater damaged my mailbox with graffiti on a work break & I had to file a police report. He has since began stalking and harassing me and has previously done this to other people in the neighborhood . Dangerous folks work here .

Stopped by this Petco location to pick up some tetras for a small indoor aquarium. The threadbare staff was disorganized, at best, and more than two-thirds of the tanks were infected with Ich.

Blake, the groomer, is amazing! He was so concerned about making my puppy’s first grooming experience super comfortable for him and he did just that. My bernedoodle looked great and got just the cut that I had asked for.

Ordered some dog treats online with pick-up in the store. Everything went smoothly. Received an email within a couple of hours to confirm my order was ready. Went to the store to pick up my order and it was all completed in a matter of seconds. Very pleased with the whole experience.

I have taken my dog to the grooming since last year, and I like the grooming service there, and Blake is the great stylist. He is not only professional, but also super nice and friendly. My dog just loves being there every single time.

Good selection at reasonable prices. At the time I was shopping they were offering 20% off coupons for their brands. They have clean paws cat litter at reasonable prices and a nice selection of dog grooming products for basic needs. It is worth noting that you can sometimes get a deal by purchasing online and they'll ship for free over $30 (at the time of my review) from the same store. This is how I buy their dog toys at a discount.

I come here for the refillable litter buckets. They seem to be running a little low on the actual buckets, but there were a couple when I went. There was plenty of litter if you have your own bucket.

This is a great place and I have come here often for cat food. However, at my most recent visit, I noticed the Beta fish were in very poor conditions. They were in very, very, small plastic containers with no water circulation, just a small hole on the lid. It appeared a lot of the fish where diseased and/or depressed. I would like to see them in bigger tanks if possible. I am aware that they can't share tanks.

The Petco in Interbay is very organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. I have been coming here regularly for my dog's grooming and we go with Blake. He is super great and very thorough as he always walk me through what will be done in the grooming session after checking my dog's current condition.

Found spongebobs pineapple, squidwards home and the Krusty Krabi. Found better prices online and they matched it. Good place.

The staff by far is why I am giving 5 🌟. I am always greeted when I first walk in with warm hellos followed by "Can I help you find anything or answer any questions". While shopping if question or need should arise there is always staff nearby to assist. Everyone is super knowledgeable. My favorite part is all the different dogs that accompany their owners shopping.

I like this place for easy parking and many options. Service is good. Right next to whole foods. Got groceries done as well.

And bless Ava, David, Jessie and their colleagues for their patience in looking up the VitalRewards coupons in my account, every time. I’m docking a star because of the awful Petco app, but that isn’t the individual store’s fault.

They were beyond superb when I got my dogs trimmed. I had tried to cut her nails myself (don't recommend) she wiggled and cut too short,so my pup was very nervous and not easy to handle. Quick and patient,very good price...definitely recommend wish I knew the name of the person that helped me,I'd thank them again definitely going back!

I love the Interbay store, it is clean and the employees are friendly. At times I am disappointed in the selection available at Petco stores in general. There is always something I am looking for that is missing or unavailable.

Getting puppy training. Service has been good. Our pup really enjoys going to the store and the interaction with other pups and people. Lynn is patient and informative. Would recommend her for all pups.

The store manager, Josh, and the staff were so helpful when my new puppy had his first vaccine and turned out to be allergic. They gave me resources and assurance and helped me after clinic and store hours! I'm so happy to have our local store care so much about his well being!

Good store and good training people, but don't use their grooming service. The first time I was there they didn't take us cuz I didn't bring first round of vaccination paperwork even tho I provided the second round one. Fine, I can take it that this is on me, but the second time they said due to some system error my booking was cancelled and we got rescheduled again. Fine, I took it again. And then the 3rd time my baby got 16 weeks they suddenly told me it's policy they don't take dogs 16 weeks without rabies vaccination. I don't know why my vet didn't give him rabies at 16 weeks but I also wasn't told about this AT ALL, and we wouldn't gone to 16 weeks if they took us for the first time or second time in the first place!! So we have been rejected 3 times!!! Not acceptable and I am furious. Not going back ever again, the ladies there aren't friendly either.

I have adopted 3 hamsters and 2 guineas from Petco over the years. All my pets from Petco have been beautiful, healthy and awesome.

Sharmin in grooming services always takes great care of my pup. He’s super picky but he loves her! He lets her touch his paws and teeth with no problems. She always gets him clean, smelling good, and floofy!

It was 6:20 and the store closed at 7. The dude in a black shirt was harassing people to get their stuff and leave citing that he wants to be home with his family for Christmas Eve. I'm sorry buddy but 7pm close means customers can shop in peace till 7, not be verbally harassed and told that if they want to browse, to leave and come back on the 26th.
