Cole Street Guesthouse

Restaurant Hotel

👍👍 I absolutely love this place. It’s really one of the only “fine dining” establishments in Sierra Leone. Not an every pop in restaurant but a special treat for African and International fusion dishes. It’s a must try! Cute, quaint, delicious and eclectic menu that evolves. A breath of fresh air! I am a local that has lived abroad for many years but return regularly and this establishment is a very welcome addition to the limited good places to eat. Service is warm and personal and ingredients are sourced locally. The food is delectable and beautifully presented and so creative! I am so glad we have this in Freetown. The location is not in the city centre or by a beach and a little hard to find but it is away from the hustle and bustle and it’s so peaceful and secluded. Upstairs indoors you have views of the sea. I guess you can call it a hidden gem! Well done Cole Street. Keep up the good work! (Didn’t stay at the guesthouse)

We came here to eat and did not stay here. The food was top of the line and so delicious. The cocktails were phenomenal. My wife got one of the milkshakes and asked for a shot of rum in it which was great. Only thing that keeps or from being a full 5/5 is that I did find some plastic in the sorbet. Every single other thing was 5/5. Staff was also amazing and was able to call us a Keke for our ride home

This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in Sierra Leone. You can tell that everything here from the decor, to the service to the food is done with the utmost excellence and thoughtfulness. I strongly believe that this will be one of the top new gems and restaurants in Sierra Leone that will stand the test of time. I felt peace and calm the entire time I was there and the owners really care about their customers having a great experience! As a Sierra Leonean this establishment made my heart smile for the future of Sierra Leone. You have to try their malted milk ice cream too 😭🙌🏾 EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS EXCELLENT!

Incredible place to stay in Freetown. Wonderful food, especially the one-off themed nights. Be sure to visit for one of them if you can. Service from both owners and staff members was next level.. courteous and efficient, and fun!

Second time I go. First time I had an enormous breakfast and now I had the "boil stew" for lunch. The plates are super generous and tasty! This lunch was the best I had since I came to SL. The owner is friendly and is always around paying attention to details and making sure everything is right. More than recommended!!

Hidden gem in Freetown. Some of the best food, best ambiance, best service. Head and shoulders above the rest. They also do occasional music/cultural events

This is truly a great Freetown establishment. We had 6 people for lunch and everything was great. The food was inventive and the staff was professional. Cannot comment on the hotel since we didn’t stay there.
