I love when I read fellow reviews of ppl from nyc because I know the food will be up the the level of hood standard that I'm used to/expect. This spot is great, the food was really good had flavor. Did not taste like old oil but also wasn't too "healthy" in flavor meaning bland. I got sesame tofu and vegetable fried rice. They don't put eggs in the rice so veg friendly 👌 a family member ordered shrimp egg foo-yung and they said it was really good as well. Food was piping hot. The inside was clean, they had mask on and gloves. They take card and prices were reasonable.

It comes down to the boneless spare ribs that sets Chines food places apart. Some places will have little chunks of spare rib but that tends to have fat attached to it. Main Moon gives shavings (almost like soft jerky) of the rib(s) and there's virtually NO fat on them. And the portion(s) is PLENTIFUL. *The best boneless spare ribs I've ever had from a Chinese food restaurant.

They cook as good as the Chinese restaurants out in NYC - that’s all I need to know. They are my #1 choice for Chinese food in Poughkeepsie! And they should be yours too!

I placed an order for food and was told that the wait time was an hour. Once I arrived to pick up my food after waiting an hour, I was told my order was not ready. I waited an additional 40 minutes along with six other customers. The woman stated that my order was still not ready. Stay away from this restaurant. The wait time is utterly ridiculous, and the woman is rude. Head over to Chans on Raymond Avenue in Poughkeepsie. The wait times and customer service are much better. The food is exceptional.

The best Chinese food in the area, hands down. The customer service is magnificent and you don't get the attitude like you do at Hung Far.

Best Chinese food around! Orange chicken is nice and spicy, veggies always fresh, appetizers are a great addition too. The people who work there are just as great! Order ahead they are busy because they have great food! You won’t be disappointed

The woman that works here is extremely rude and got my order wrong. Ordered chicken with broccoli got overcooked sesame chicken. She needs to take some classes in customer service.

Good food, had the wonton soup and chicken and broccoli, both were delicious. Highly recommend this for a Chinese takeout spot.

Waited far more than the 40 mins, more like 60+++ mins. The broccoli with garlic sauce was so hot I think they spilled something in it that makes it inedible. Not enough help to take orders in this place and a very stressful wait for not great food.

Excellent! Everything was hot, fresh and with the right amount of spice. Used to go here years ago and loved the Orange Beef. Just as good now. Would also recommend the Triple Green Vegetables for vegetarians. This is my new go to place.

Picked up two lunch specials today, first time going to Main Moon. It was delicious and super large portions. Moved back to the area a year ago from Austin and I have to say that the food here was the very best since I moved back!

One of my favorites! Try the General Tso's or the pork Mei Fun. All around great.

Food is fantastic, place looks clean but they are terribly slow. I placed an order, she said 40 mins which was long, so I showed up 45 mins later instead, and my order was not ready, she said 10 or 15 mins more. They need more than one cook. Unbelievable, smh.
