Amazing hide away private beach experience with individual chalets. Most modern beach resort I have been in Freetown... And I’ve been in quite a few... Still exploring still. The view is beautiful.. eat your meal under the coconut tree and drink coconut water to wash it down. 3 stars for food only because the catch of the day fish are so small, bony and meagre... and other feedback had complained of food quality too… Especially because the menu does not have pictures of what to expect.

Great food, the view is incredible. There's security at the gate, parking could be better. The inside is high-end. Very Professional wait staff.

Second time here, coming from the states. Beautiful beach and nice employees. The room was very clean, however the sheets were full of sand. The food/drinks were not good at all. Specially the nachos yuk and infused drinks. Apart from that I love everything else. Specially the tranquility:

We were so excited to break away from the buzzing and energetic Freetown for a quick 1 night stay at The Place. We specifically selected this Resort due to the 5 Star Rating. Management is accountable and engaging and we look forward to coming in the dry season to experience all the luxuries the The Place has to offer.

It was my wife’s birthday and a friend recommended this place for me so I can give her a treat. I quickly went online and made the reservation and this has been one decision I’ll forever appreciate because I didn’t even know how I would have made the birthday worthwhile. On getting there, they gave us a fantastic welcome. The rooms were well arranged and my wife had a birthday cake waiting in the room. She also had balloons everyday wishing her happy birthday. The room was simply out of this world. She later confirmed that it’s her best birthday yet. I totally recommend this place for everybody.

This place is the best beach resort in Sierra Leone. Wonderful, clean beach, warm ocean and no stress. Chaotic Freetown is far away and one just relaxes. Amazing place to unwind without the crowds. Thumbs up!!!

A very nice place, I like everything there, the food, veiw, nice reception and very refreshing. I'll definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

On arrival I was impressed until at checkin I was asked to pay upfront for my stay. That was a no, no. After stiff opposition the allowed me to pay on check out. The surrounding was clean the employees very pleasent however hampered by poor management. I upgraded from a mountain view to a see view. It was worth it. Dinner. Hmmmm it was very poor. Lobster creamated, fish dry, Fried rice had no taste. The prowns was 2 very large prowns, Squid, both tasted fresh. All in all the meal was poor for the price tab. The accommodation was very good spacious and modern. The beach lovely. The pool clean but no beck chairs. Breakfast was pretty good. Made up for the poor tasteless dinner. Overall, my stay was pleasent. Don't feel this space not worth 300USD/ night. 200. Compared to other resorts in the area u get more for less and better value

Quiet and peaceful location. Beach front and direct access to the sea. Clean beach. Pleasant staff. Food is not great and pricey. Room rates are also higher than average. Stayed for two nights on 4/24/2023 & 4/25/2023.

A lovely place to relax that plays at international standards.

Chalet: 09/10 Room service and waiters: 05/10 I'm sure there is no proper training. For such a quality resort we expected more. Food: 03/10 only an average breakfast Priority should also be given to the resort guests in terms of Beach towels, deckchairs and umbrellas. People coming from outside usually invade the place and make the stay not to private.

Nice resort, beautiful sunset. Get on a boat ride with the beach boys to Barracuda Island and Banana Island, worth the experience. We didn't make it to Banana Island because it was late, but made it to Barracuda Island and made friends with a monkey

If I could give this resort 0 stars I would. I Literally just left this resort & I cannot express enough how the customer service was absolutely disgusting. The manager Sunil has no manners whatsoever, he doesn’t know how to speak to people in a professional manner at all. So arrogant & has no regards. So disappointed because I’ve been wanting to come to Tokeh beach for so long after leaving Sierra Leone 12 years ago only for me to get there & leave 30 mins later. Not to mention the food is absolutely appalling, the food was old & stale you could tell that is was at least 3-4 days old & was definitely reheated. We even brought a camera to really showcase the beauty of Sierra Leone & we were told we have to pay Le500,000/ $50 to just to use it, I have never ever heard such nonsense in my life. Please Avoid this resort at all cost your better off going to No2 beach if you want to experience a beautiful beach that doesn’t imply made up rules when it fits them necessary just to extort money from tourist.

This was not my 1st time at this resort. The resort is beautiful and well laid out. Our room was ocean view, and my teenage son loved seeing the ocean. The pool was large with plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas by the beach. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of options. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home.
