Walked past this place while going to restaurant a week earlier. Decided to give it a try. Food was good and it came out pretty quickly. I had a Cuban panini and some berry pancakes and was happy with both. Good portions and price not bad. My friends also enjoyed their breakfast and had good things to say. We went on a Sunday around 12 and had about a 10min wait. Not bad at all considering the place was busy and had a lot of people waiting. We spent about an hour from start to finish on a busy day. Nice waitress and other staff. Nice atmosphere, nice decor. Feels like a nice cozy and friendly place to have breakfast. Would definitely like to come back again.

I come here once a year while I am in town for an event. The place gets super busy so ne prepared to wait, but it is totally worth it! Service is fast and friendly and the food... 👌🏼. On street parking so I just go a street over to park to get off the busy road. Can't wait to go back next year!

I visited this place on 5th Feb 2022, group of 5. I had the best time for the brunch. Food was amazing. Since it was rush hour we had little longer wait for the food. But the person who was handling our table, she did really great job, all the request and questions were answered by her. Only small down part about this place is when group of 5 or more go will have to wait longer to be seated and challenging after being seated. Group may feel little congested due to the way spacing built. But overall I will visit this place again and try out new things for the future visits.

Sunday was packed but we had a pleasant experience regardless. Come early if you want to avoid a wait time. Chris the manager really took care of us and gave us great recommendations. We tried the French toast with creme cheese and the skillet was equally good. They have fresh squeezed orange juice. 10/10 Expresso was 10/10

The drinks were decent like it more milky then crockery, the food itself was made nice and fresh, the egg Florentine eggs Benedict, and they was really good I enjoyed every bit of it. The pancakes too were nice and fluffy. The grilled chicken was a bit dry but it’s okay compared to good eggs.

Amazing place for breakfast. So many options. I'm vegetarian and struggle to find a breakfast place with many options. This place has so many vegan options. Love their tofu scramblers, definitely gonna try their vegan french toast and waffles next time.

The place offers multiple vegan option ranging from pancakes, french toast, sandwiches and quesadillas. We had strawberry shortcake pancake, quesadilla and french toast and everything was good. The only thing i would request is if they can accommodate making some sandwich sauce without onion and garlic. Otherwise, there are jain options. Also, their freshly squeezed orange juice is great.

I have ordered take out and dined in. Whether it is take out or dining in, the food portions were huge and of similar size. But, my dine-in experience was a little disappointing. The server asked us how was the food very loudly from a distance and never refilled our water. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the vegan santa fe quesadilla a lot. It is hard to find breakfast/brunch spots carrying vegan friendly items on their menus. My friends ordered the havana benedict and nutella pancakes.

We randomly decided to try this place because they offer vegan breakfast options. We tried the regular pancakes which were okay, the vegan pancakes with chocolate chips which were really good, the vegan sausage which was delicious. The star of the show was the vegan French toast! Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area. Staff was friendly and reasonably priced!

So this is my second time coming here and the food is always good. The coffee is very well made and you can tell they care . The staff is very very friendly and all warm smiles . This is a very popular spot so around high time the wait time is little high but worth the wait if you have time

Just look at this French toast! It had a delicious vegan cream cheese sandwiched between the slices. Very accommodating vegan menu, great service, and delicious food. Already looking forward to coming back!

I have never been disappointed eating here and I’ve been going here since 2015 (I can’t believe I haven’t given them a good review til now). By far the best breakfast house in NJ. A huge plus is they offer so many vegan options, they’re highly inclusive to many different dietary needs with the menu they offer. You can’t go wrong with anything off their menu.

Recently, I went to the restaurant called The Pancake House with my husband. I ordered French toast, which was okay, and my husband had waffles, which were delicious. The server kept checking on us, and I really enjoyed the overall experience.

I got the chicken carumba panini with a side of fries and my oh my it was delicious. The chipotle mayo in the sandwich adds such a yummy flavor with the chunky chicken breast.

The hostess sat me in the back, with my back against the other customers and facing towards the kitchen. That made me feel uncomfortable. On the other hand, the waitress was very attentive and polite. The pancakes were fluffy and very tasty. I would return because of the service provided by the waitress and the food, not because of the hostess.

I found myself in Rutherford because my daughter's wedding dress was being altered there and our appointment was in the morning. I love a good breakfast place so started my search online and noticed all the good reviews for the Rutherford Pancake House... And... They offer gluten free selections!! Decided to give it a try! When I walked in, I immediately felt that I had made a good choice. The place was clean and felt homey and warm. The staff was friendly, knew the menu, and helped with choices. I had the gluten free french toast and added fresh fruit and coffee. My daughter ordered the oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar. The orders arrived and looked delicious!! They were... And needed a box to take some home. I didn't want to waste a bite. The coffee was good too. The staff was attentive to keep the cup refilled and hot. We have a few more dress fittings and we will look forward to future breakfasts there.

I had this spot on my list and decided to stop here for lunch. I called in my order and fyi you cannot call in your order for a later pick up. They shut that down quick. I ordered a couple of things and for myself I ordered the vegan french toast with vegan sausage. When I arrived I parked on the street and walked in. I went to the counter and told the man I was there for pick up. The food was ready and I paid and left. When I got to the car I dug in and the french toast was really good. The vegan sausage was not all that. It was very flavorless. All in all I had a pretty decent experience.

Favorite place for brunch. They have plenty of vegan options and non dairy options for coffee. The service has been excellent every time I go, and the staff is always polite. The friendly environment makes a big difference when dining in. During holidays, it does get packed so I'd avoid those days if you like to eat somewhere quiet. Other than that I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for brunch with family and friends...or even your pet because they have outdoor seating.

A perfect diner. A low key welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and maybe most importantly - amazing food. Plenty of incredible vegan options, and great coffee as well. Service was fast and the quality was top tier. Couldn’t recommend more. Definitely will be coming back.

I had high hopes from this place but we were all disappointed! I ordered waffles but the texture was not quite right. I had a hard time cutting each bite but then gave up after a quarter part or so. My friends ordered burger, french toast and eggs. Burger was decent but the french toast was another let down. Not coming back!

I had the Cuban. Overall, the sandwich was decent and well balanced. The combination of pulled pork, roast turkey breast, pickles, mustard, and Swiss cheese created a flavorful and satisfying meal. The sandwich had a good crisp to it, which added a nice texture. The sandwich could have benefited from a bit more mustard and pickles to really bring out those flavors. Nonetheless, even with the slightly subdued mustard and pickle flavors, the sandwich was still tasty and enjoyable. In conclusion, while there may have been some room for improvement, the Panini Cubano sandwich was still a solid choice for a satisfying and flavorful meal.

Just left this place and it was the WORSE meal I’ve had in a long time! Ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and side of avocado! Eggs were NOT scrambled, they looked like an omelette with NO taste! The potatoes were cold and also no seasoning! The bacon was nuked and looked horrible! The toast was NOT toasted at all and may I mention I payed almost $4 for a 1/3 of an avocado?! They must do better! I seriously don’t know how this place has a 4.5 review! It must be robots!

I went 3x to get breakfast that was awesome. On Sunday morning it’s always crowded! I had a fresh OJ and a cappuccino and was Delicious. Highly recommended this place

I went to this restaurant for Mother’s Day it was long wait, but it was really worthy the pancakes, quesadillas, orange juice and all the food was amazing, far away one of the best pancakes I have ever tried.

Picture fluffy pancakes that defy gravity and eggs so perfect they should come with their own theme song. The orange juice was so fresh, it made me wonder if the oranges had just finished their morning yoga session before being squeezed.Our waiter was the Picasso of hospitality, expertly crafting a masterpiece of service with every gesture and recommendation So if you're on a quest for morning goodness, this is your headquarters – where breakfast dreams come to be. In all seriousness this place is a amazing spot to have breakfast I highly recommend it 🥞🥞

Incredibly fast service- we got our food within 10 minutes. Granted it was a Friday morning as opposed to a weekend but the food was decent, certainly well-priced. No complaints. Highly recommend for anyone GF/vegan in need of classic diner fare.
