Wonderful hotel! I found this place when looking for a place to stay before flying back to States. It is about 15 minutes car ride to Munich Airport and about 45 minutes bus ride (2 buses) but the stop is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant is also great. The lady during breakfast was amazing and kind. I would stay here again!

I booked specifically because the mentioned a shuttle service from and to the airport. I had to take a taxi, it costed 40 euros (tip included). Uber from the hotel estimated 20 euros. If you add the transport to room price, you are better off booking a room closer to the airport.

Small but efficiently designed room, very clever. Immaculately clean. Short walk up the hill to Weihenstephaner.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for the clean and comfortable room with the extremely friendly people around: excellent people, location, rooms and breakfasts.

Our room was very clean and spacious ("standard plus multi-bed" with additional twin and baby cot). Simple yet comfortable decor. The service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere and offers a nice variety of Bavarian foods for dinner. While they don't offer a written children's menu, they are very accommodating to offer small portions of the main menu items, or work with you if you have a special request. A buffet breakfast included müsli, yogurt, breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and soft boiled eggs. This was included in the price of the room. Their prices are reasonable for the restaurant and hotel,and the location is ideal if traveling to the airport (~15 minute drive).

Everything in this cozy hotel was great. You could tell it was family-owned, family-run by how nice everyone was. It just had that special touch that made you feel truly welcomed as opposed to the at times fake/forced welcome at the chains. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and the portions large for European standards. Room was very clean and pretty large.

Small but clean, really close to the brewery and rooms are comfortable but small. Bed is one of the best we’ve slept in Europe with big cushy pillows, incredible water pressure and relatively large shower . Free parking and free breakfast if you purchase the option. Don’t get the patio rooms as they face the main road

The Gasthof is close to the Munich airport. My wife and I visited Germany and Austria to celebrate our 40 Wedding Anniversary. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the room, food, and drinks were great.

Awesome location, being within walking distance of the WORLDS OLDEST FUNCTIONING BREWERY! Awesome food there! (Get the Spezi). Hotel was very nice, but pillows could be a little firmer. Very good place to stay if you need to go to the airport the next day.

I find it a little overpriced for what they offer.

This is a review about restaurant. The food is nothing special but fine. The beer is very tasty. And the staff is very nice and friendly.
