I
had
a
VI
peel
done
December
12th
which
was
on
a
Tuesday.
By
early
Friday
my
cheeks,
chin
and
jaw
was
swollen,
irritated
and
very
red.
(I
had
the
same
VI
peel
in
September
and
had
none
of
the
above
problems)
so
I
was
naturally
concerned.
I
reached
out
the
office
and
left
a
voicemail.
An
hour
goes
by
and
I
was
worried
about
going
into
the
weekend
without
having
someone
aware
of
my
concerns.
So
I
drove
the
salon
and
talked
with
Amy
who
asked
if
I
called
and
I
stated
yes
I
left
a
voicemail
but
I
didn’t
want
to
go
all
weekend
with
these
concerns.
She
essentially
dismissed
my
concerns
and
stated
it
was
a
“normal”
part
of
the
peel
process.
She
probably
didn’t
get
within
15
feet
to
even
look
at
my
face.
I
tried
telling
her
I
had
this
peel
and
it
was
nothing
like
this.
She
Then
proceeded
to
ask
if
I
had
received
the
eminence
kit
and
I
said
no,
I
believe
I
only
received
what
the
peel
comes
with.
She
then
gave
me
extra
products
to
help
with
hydration
and
that
I
should
have
gotten
this
on
Tuesday
(although
the
VI
peel
comes
with
everything
you
should
need
in
the
post
peel
packet.)
I
felt
like
I
was
being
rushed
out
the
door
and
an
annoyance
for
going
into
the
salon
and
addressing
my
concerns.
About
an
hour
after
this
talk
I
get
a
text
basically
apologizing
for
her
coming
off
as
dismissive
and
caught
off
guard.
Anyways
I
did
what
she
advised
to
me
to
hydrate
the
skin
with
products
she
suggested
and
then
using
aquaohor
after.
I
woke
up
Saturday
morning
again
to
extremely
red,
and
painful
skin
to
the
point
where
I
couldn’t
even
open
my
mouth
to
eat.
I
waited
throughout
the
day
until
I
became
extremely
worried
that
her
recommendations
were
not
working
at
all
and
possibly
making
it
worse.
I
reached
out
again
at
7:30pm
(Saturday)
I
did
not
receive
a
text
until
almost
11am
(sunday)
and
was
once
again
dismissed
and
basically
told
everything
was
normal.
She
told
me
she
would
set
up
an
appt
with
Haley
who
did
my
peel
to
go
over
any
concerns
Monday
morning.
Fast
forward
to
Monday
morning,
I
went
in
and
had
a
discussion
with
Haley.
Face
was
still
red,
irritated
and
looked
like
it
was
going
to
peel
again.
Was
told
that
the
peel
could
have
been
possibly
too
strong
for
my
face
and
that
the
products
that
I
received
Friday
from
Amy
probably
irritated
it
further
but
that
she
expected
it
to
clear
up
by
the
weekend.
She
wanted
me
to
continue
using
the
hydrocortisone
cream
(provided
by
the
VI
perl
kit)
and
aquaphor.
She
said
I
looked
like
I
would
peel
again
(not
normal
to
peel
twice
with
a
VI
peel)
By
the
following
weekend
yes
the
redness
and
irritation
had
subsided
but
I’m
left
with
this
brownish
discolored
ring
around
my
mouth
where
you
can
clearly
see
where
the
peel
was
and
wasn’t
applied
and
discoloration
all
along
the
left
side
of
my
jaw.
The
salon
reached
out
the
following
Tuesday
asking
how
my
face
was
feeling
and
I
replied
back
Friday.
I
replied
a
few
days
later
because
I
am
so
frustrated
with
this
whole
situation
I
didn’t
want
to
react
when
I
responded
back.
In
my
text
back
I
asked
what
I
need
to
do
to
get
rid
of
this
new
discoloration.
Anyways
it’s
is
now
the
following
Wednesday
and
I
haven’t
received
any
response
back.
Long
story
short
I
would
not
come
here
for
a
skin
treatment.
You
will
be
dismissed
even
after
advocating
for
yourself.
I
knew
what
was
happening
was
not
normal
and
I
should
have
pushed
harder
but
I
don’t
think
it
would
have
helped
anyways.
VI
peels
are
not
cheap
and
when
you
have
struggled
with
skin
concerns
most
of
your
life
this
kind
of
thing
can
be
very
upsetting.
I
hope
they
can
learn
from
this
experience.
I’ll
post
a
couple
pictures
so
if
this
happens
to
you,
it’s
not
normal.
Advocate
for
yourself.
