Lots of parking. Right near fields, the library, & other outdoor activities. Seating & shade available. Lots of play space with soft ground. A toddler section for the littler ones. Many things for parents & children to enjoy together. Interesting features I haven’t seen on other playgrounds. A wonderful place to spend a little or a lot of time, with many fun play structures & activities.

Great COVID-19 precautions in place. They have a security guard managing entry and ensuring everyone sanitized their hands before going in. Maximum 55 people at a time. They have 30 minute shifts, and everyone is asked to leave the park at the end of the 39 minute interval. Works out great. All the playground and rides are very enjoyable.

Great to see family and school/activities taking advantage of this park. Well organized park. Can get chaotic when school activities coming in before noon. There is plenty of shade that can help to hide fromm the heat... However, the issue I have with all the playgrounds is the slides that kids can't use when the sun is out.

What a fun and inclusive playground! The whole area is laid out in different zones with a variety of slides, swings, spinning structures, playhouse, and toddler area. There is also a nice area with benches where you can have a snack and enjoy the empowering words in the kindness corner. The park does get busy but with so many different options it was easy to find space to play without feeling too crowded. There is lots of parking next to the library and it's a short walk over. This is a welcoming park for all ages. It's definitely worth a visit!

This is a great park with diverse structures. We had 3-year-olds up to a 13 year all playing happily for hours. The park has a bathroom but there was a line when I went. There is a lot of seating and tables. The kids seem to use cardboard for for sliding. So consider bringing some.

It was awesome. Best playground visited so far. There are so many activities for kids to enjoy and play. My daughter had a blast and she played there for more than an hour. There is also Mitchell Park next to Magical Bridge playground for picnic for entire family. Please support Magical Bridge playground by donating so that they can expand further. Banners are posted on the playground for donation details. Must visit for kids and they will enjoy for sure.

A bit crowded at first, it seemed there was a camp present. Lots of fun and plenty of space. The teen even interacted a bit.

Excellent playground for kids, very easy to find and play. Also pretty safe, since auto closing doors are everywhere. Highly recommended!

Your $5 donation really does go to the repairs of the park. My kids love this park, and it's always packed. It just shows that my kids are not the only ones

This was a great park super fancy. I loved what a creative space and all the nice families there. I loved how there was just tons of cardboard for the kids to go down the slide on. My 7 yr had a blast.

Holy smokes, what an amazing place. Something for every age here and all tucked in to a tidy little enclosed area. My kids had a blast. We have nothing like this in Canada so this is new for me if it’s the norm. It’s actually kind of overwhelming, it is so big that there are a lot of places you can’t see everything, so at times I was looking for my kids in a panic. They were almost always in the treehouse but still disconcerting in the moment.

This place is so cool! It’s located at Mitchell park all the way in the back of the park. Kids super love it. They also have a tree house lots of slide, swings and musical arc. Sitting area for the parents.

I love this park and continue to visit since the grand opening when I was pregnant with my first born; she’s almost 8 years old. With 3 kids in tow, the playground offers plenty of choices and never gets tiring until the hunger pangs sensation activates.

Nice playground that kids enjoy. Sand play is great here. There is a water area ..splash pad that is on in summer..it was not on when we visited last weekend. Lot of picnic tables in shade. Huge parking lot.

My son and I have been enjoying Magical Bridge Playground. However, there is one design flaw that I like other parents with small kid to notice. The wooden house , where parents cannot see from outside and need to enter by around it, is a blind spot. It is very close to the door that exit the playground. Small children can enter the wooden house and leave the playground without being seen by their parent if their parent are on the ground level.

10 out of 10. The magical bridge is such a fun place for Littles. The park also has many other parks and grassy areas to play. The library is a bonus. The coffee shop is a much-needed pick-me-up for tired parents whose kids want to keep going. Great place for kids to spend the day and play. Make great friends along the way.

A large park for all ages:playgrounds for kids, 15 pickleball courts, 4 tennis courts, a nice library, and a community center for classes.

Very nice place for the kids. The playground is in very good condition. It was a little bit crowdy but the kids enjoyed every minute. I liked that there are doors so it is not that easy that the kids go outside the playground alone.

Magical Bridge Playground at Palo Alto's Mitchell Park is a spot that my family and I have come to adore. My kids absolutely love this place, and after the recent renovation project, it's even more remarkable. The renovations focused on improving maintenance and safety, and it's evident in the upgrades made. The new rubberized surfacing and synthetic turf replacement not only look great but also provide a safer environment for kids to play. It's comforting to see that the park's well-being has been taken into account. The playhouse, which has always been a hit with my kids, got a facelift with re-staining and new railing. It retains its charm and is a favorite spot for imaginative play. The net spinner, a thrilling attraction for the little ones, got an upgrade too. It's nice to know that they've maintained the fun factor. And the addition of a shade structure over the spin zone is a relief on sunny days. What makes Magical Bridge Playground truly special is its commitment to inclusivity. The park is designed so that children of all abilities can play together. As a parent, this is something I greatly appreciate, as it fosters a sense of unity and acceptance among the kids. The miscellaneous painting and planting improvements have given the park a fresh look, and the vibrant colors and greenery add to its appeal. As a parent, it's heartwarming to see my kids so excited every time we visit Magical Bridge Playground. It's a place where they can let their imaginations run wild, climb, swing, and just be kids. I'm grateful to have such a wonderful and inclusive place in our community. Magical Bridge Playground has become a favorite spot for my family, and I'm sure it's the same for many others. If you're in Palo Alto with kids, it's definitely worth a visit I give it a wholehearted 5-star rating.
