Lovely ambiance with a fun and lively atmosphere. Food is excellent and service is quick. In my opinion the place is appropriately priced as well. Perfect place for a beautiful meal with friends and family after an evening at the Marine Drive ❤️.

The ambience and service was great. Nice and lively place to hang out with friends. Food was okay-ish for me, nothing extraordinary or delicious!! (probably the items we ordered) I loved the dessert though. You can have drinks here, read books and click amazing pictures (the ambience is great) it's just a walk away from the Marine Drive. An evening visit would be worth it.

Lovely literary themed café and eatery. Excellent food and good cocktails. Have been here multiple times over the years and never been disappointed. The cocktails are well crafted and have funny, punny names. The food has been delicious every single time. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. The service is prompt and the owners are always around and very helpful. The afternoon has a very chill ambience where you can sit and finish some work or catch up with friends in peace. The evening lights the place up, all the tables are usually occupied and walk-ins might face a short waiting period before being seated, atleast during the weekend. Despite being full, the place is still quite calm and cheery. There isn't loud music that you have to shout over to have a conversation. All in all, a wonderful place to bring family, friends or even to hang out alone and read a book or something.

This is a very chic place with board games, books and a cute seating arrangement. I’ve visiting this place a couple of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have no complaints whatsoever! Breakfast was delicious. We ordered choco chip pancakes, hot chocolate and eggs florentine. The pancakes were soft, fluffy and so well made, eggs were spot on served with a side of roasted tomatoes, hash brown. Loved our meals and the vibe!

Everything about this place seemed welcoming and wonderful. Loved the ambience and courtesy of the service staff. The plan is to visit this cafe again to ensure There is enough time to savor the amazing food choices. The key wonderful things about this place are the cute Graffitis across the wall which is also a nice place to sit quietly and read a book to unwind from a busy day.. Will visit soon to experience a memorable time.

Cute little place with great food & ambience. Loved the literary twist on cocktails & food menu. Had the blueberry cheesecake, which was so delicious & light but we expected a bit more effort on presentation as per photos on Zomato & Google maps. Nonetheless, really enjoyed dining here & would visit again. Highly recommend it!

Since it was featured in the best of Mumbai and Blissful cafes of Mumbai we thought of visiting the outlet based on the reviews and ratings. We had visited around 12PM on a Sunday, it wasnt much crowded which was a good thing. It has a good ambience with nice decor, Paintings with nice quotes as well as it has a book collection so one can just enjoy some quality reading time while enjoying beverage/food. The service was good considering it wasn't much crowded. They play soft music so it doesnt interrupt with your conversations. We had ordered Pasta, Mocktail and coffee. The taste was good, however quantity offered was bit less. For the dessert, we wanted to try out Flowerpot Tiramisu however unfortunately the same wasn't available. Value for money I wouldn't say it as the menu is quite overpriced and for certain items the quantity offered wasnt worth the price paid, but well if you want to have one-off experience considering the ambience and other factors its an outlet worth checking. Taste : 4/5 Quantity : 3.5/5 Price : 3/5 Ambience : 4/5

Gorgeous ambience, situated close to Marine drive, it's very private and you totally get lost in the ambience. Aesthetic corners with books around, and tables to sit by. The food was quite delicious..deep dish mac n cheese was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake was sort of dry, but massive. The service too was nice. Would absolutely recommend to visit

Great place. Good for books. Good for board games, although they need more trivial question based board games. Really nice cocktails. Beers nice, from the bottle. If they had a beer on tap that would be sooo nice. We went in early Friday afternoon, it wasn't too busy and it's always weird when their are more bar staff than customers. All the same, very nice.

    1) On main road beside churchgate station : Very accessible by local train and taxi 2) Indoor ambience was just awsum. Tables arranged at a very comfortable distance from each other. Every corner had a sight, in form of boards, books etc. 3) Now coming to food. We ordered Mac n cheese pizza, kajun spice chicken and green omlette. Every dish was having such a unique taste. They serve it with a bowl of soft butter. It was tasty, well served and with a good portion size. 4) Most important, the food came in just 10 mins after ordering. Normally, in such cafes, it takes quite long but here that as well is an advantage. Overall, a 5/5 experience.

You get board games, you get good food, you get good ambience - the three prerequisites for spending some chill time with your partner/friend/family. The price is reasonable for a table for two, oddly enough the appetizer was better in quantity than the main course. Also, there was a 2+1 offer on moonshine, so having not ever tried that we decided to, and it was delish!

A large typewriter sits at the entrance of an alcove, under the stairs, which opens to a tiny library with two bean bags. Line sketches of typewriters on a series of white plates are mounted on a wall next to a blackboard. Framed book covers are mounted on another. In the small garden outside, next to an Instagram-ready cut-out, are potted herbs that you can request for as additional toppings. Food was delicious and the place was full. Loved it. Definitely going to visit again and try something different of the menu.

Our order:- 1. Drinks:- • Ping Pong • Summery Melon 2. Mains:- • Classic Fish and Chips • Chicken Dumpling Ramen Absolutely loved the fish and chips, it is a must try. The Kafir Lime taste was a little over powering in the ramen but overall a good dish I don't need to elaborate on the drinks as they both were a banger.

It serves a wide array of items from Indian, Chinese, European, thai etc. Well-known for its unique selection of dishes. If you love reading books in a cozy corner with feel good music playing in the room, this is your go-to place. From Sequence and Ludo to Never Have I Ever, they have a range of board games to play on a date or with your friends. We tried the Kaityln's Pizza which had white garlic sauce base. It sticks between your teeth a little bit, but the taste is really good. I also tried Hot Chocolate, it was not too sweet and had the right balance.

Great little quiet spot, tucked away along the road connecting Marine Drive to Church gate station. Serves as a great place for people who want a chilled out evening or afternoon, sipping a cuppa joe after a simple meal or enjoying a serene date night with someone special. Id's a haven for readers and table game lovers. Although the food is nothing much special to go home about, the atmosphere and the delightful service makes up for more than that. Be prepared to spend an unnecessary amount of time here, munching away while delving deep into another one of Oscar Wilde's novellas, or quietly and patiently spending quality game time with card loving friends. Worth visiting.

We visited the cute little cafe for an after-meal and were pleasantly surprised by how rustic, cute and homely it felt.their collection of books is outstanding and the games are an added bonus.the food is quite good too! Good ambience. My friends who had non veg liked the food. Veg options that we had were nice, not great. Not worth the price. But if you are alone or need some solitude, this is a great place. There are plenty of books available or you can bring your own. Nurse your coffee or beer, read a book, the service is unhurried and leisurely. Lovely place to kill some time.

Food and books are the best combination ever!! This is a cute cafe with a library and games. They serve you thing slowly while you enjoy a lazy time with your book or playing games with friends or family. We ordered chocolate freak shake, falafel wrap, baked and stuffed potatoes, penne arabiata, Mexican beans and paneer tacos, two mushroom pizza, hazelnut mousse and last exist of brooklyn and everything was absolutely amazing!!! Hummus in the falafel was smooth, pasta cooked to perfection and cheesy, starters were a delight and very filling. The best was their mushroom pizza. But the highlight was chocolate mousse with crispy base was absolutely delicious and a great end to our dinner here.

Looking for a place different from those everyday pizza cafes then this one is for you. The vibe is somewhere between a fine dine to a vintage cafe but couldn't figure out which one. The place is good and ambience is very decent. Staff is not that huge but the service is undoubtedly good. The dishes we had were Mocktails: 1. Ping pong(Highly Recommended) Very much refreshing and the taste was yumm!! Definitely try this in this mumbai heat to quench your thirst. 2.Froyo Smoothie Could have been more concentrated on the flavour side . The milk transparency can be seen widely. Appetizers: 1. Spicy Cajun Prawns Had so much of expectations from this one but the masala was a little not well marinated. The quantity was appreciable. 2. Crispy Fried chicken with green coriander pesto chutney(Highly recommended). This one soo reminded me of those ghar ka pakoras but had chicken in it. You can actually feel how well it has been prepared. The only concern was the chutney place below the fried chicken makes it bit soggy. We can take more pleasure when placed aside. 3. BBQ chicken wings (Highly Recommended). Not going to bore you guys with the same description but just gonna say it was up to the mark as we expect. Mains: 1. Spinach Linguine aglie eo olio (Highly Recommended). Guyss this one has to be in your must try list. I just can't put it into words how much I liked this one. This one was suggested by the captain. The spinach noodles were made by them itself and you can actually feel the organic touch to it with some really good mushrooms and chicken. 2. Grill Prawn Risotto (Highly Recommended). This one gonna be totally worth every penny. The risotto was good. The prawns was the player in this. This visit has been such a nice one . sure you give this place a try and you surely gonna love this.

A bad and sad experience - NEVER EVER AGAIN Mar 7 late dinner: Post the match at Wankhede, we reached Churchgate station for food at around 11 pm. All the places right from Shiv Sagar to Foo and Indian Summer were packed except this place - so should have used my instincts about the place but considering we had hungry kids with us, we entered this place. I ordered for cottage cheese baos along with the prawns one and clearly asked the server that hopefully you wont mix it up as I am a vegeterian. When the first plate of bao arrived at our table, we confirmed if it was cottage cheese or prawns and it was confirmed it was cottage cheese. And guess what? - it was prawns. On asking the server, we were casually told that sometimes such things happen - there was no remorse about the fact that a veg eating person was served non veg food. The kind of response from the staff was not expected. After that the entire experience went down hill. One would think that the staff would make up for the same. I have seen many instances, where after making such mistakes, the staff go out of their way to make it up - either with their attitude, to giving complimentary desserts or giving discounts on the bill. And here, we were presented with a bill with only the cottage cheese bao not being charged - a plate which we didn't even consume as we had given away our plate of bao. When I asked the server about the same and if they were even sorry for what happened, they reduce one more item. This clearly shows the attitude of the staff and I am not surprised why the place was empty when all other places nearby were packed and more people waiting to get in but no one came here. Unfortunately, there is no system to give a negative rating so will settle for the least one.

We had drinks and nibbles here one evening and were blown away by the quality of the cocktails, mocktails, and food in general. The atmosphere is great, with a quiet buzz that makes it a great place to catch up with friends/family. The selection of cocktails and wines on offer is fantastic, and they're all very reasonably priced. Try the chicken momos, they're excellent! (Though we'd take a pass on the tacos)

Excellent cocktails and food! I am always doubtful when a restaurant has many different cuisines on their menu, because how many types of food can you really do well?! However, this place was such a pleasant surprise! I had Italian and my friend had Indian, and we had one starter and the hazelnut mousse! All divine! Highly recommended! Only one downside - it's not for everyone's pocket.

The lamb steak was juicy and really filled with spices which got my mouth to blast into so many different places, where the sauce and the mashed potato got the light and basic flavour to devour the blast into my mouth. The mocktails were amazing as the mango punch was so light but yet strong to taste. We love the mocktail dark invader. The cheesecake was so soft and delicious.

I find it difficult for a cafe to be named as such. Apart from this, there are novels stacked on the wall and the ambience is friendly and nerdy I guess. Food is too pricey but can't go to colaba and order something cheap right? I had the chicken garlic roasted pizza and ping pong, the service was quick and the food was yummy.

We went to this place for chill and meet session iver coffee. I had lemon mint iced tea. The tea was not tasting the way it should. The tea flavour was overpowering and there was hardly any mint taste. The place overall in nice and cozy to sit and chill. It is mostly empty during noons and early evenings and can be used for small meetings as well.

Went here on a Sunday evening. Place has a very relaxed ambience. Music is not very loud and hence good for groups/people looking to have conversations. Service is impeccable. The place has loads of books (all genres and for all age groups) and lots of board games. So, even if ur alone, you have books to keep you company. There is a separate section made where books are stacked and one can read in that part of the restaurant. The games kept my Lil one busy the entire time and hence recommend it for families. The food was yummy. We ordered for the Greek pizza, french fries, watermelon feta salad, paneer tacos, mezze platter, spaghetti aglio e Olio. Everything was supremely fresh and tasty. The only thing I would have liked was the Taco shells to be crunchy/crispy. Instead they were soft, more like a bao, which the menu didn't mention. Overall experience was great. We had a perfect Sunday evening with friends here. Definitely going back again to explore more food options.

A beautiful place set up near Marine Drive with upscale crowd. Good for Teenagers, friends and family. Have good set up for small and large group. Variety of games options starting with kids to grown ups. Food was very tasty with good drink options. Service was good too. Cons: Washroom is very small but the common entrance of gents and ladies makes it uncomfortable. If one person from gents washroom opens the door the lady who wants to go to lady washroom has to wait for the man to pass, which is kind of awkward. The games kept should be sanitized as many people are using the game while eating so a proper care should be taken to sanitize the games after every use of the customer.

Great experience with a wacky and huge menu. Playing games makes you feel part of the atmosphere. We went and had superb cocktails all with fun book themed names. The simple "my way" G&T was superb. A really eclectic menu taking you around the world and local. Was worried food would suffer as such a huge menu but no problem all seemed freshley made and tasred really good staff were good and games added to a reaĺly genial atmosphere and more cocktails. Loved ot for something a bit different.
