Overall it was a pleasant stay. Locality is superb just a few minutes walk to Gateway of India, & Colaba causeway is adjacent. The lack of professionalism persists on certain services, since it's not managed by professional hotel management. PROS - 1. Safety 2. Very attentive staff 3. Good & nice locality 4. Breakfast included in the tariff but Dinner will be provided on an extra basis. 5. Food provided is up to the mark & higenic. CONS - 1. Room amenities aren't on par with what we paid. 2. The bathroom is clean but could be better. 3. The bed provided is not meant for anyone with 5 ft 11inches height or above. 4. Though tariff is equal to any other decent hotel but only a towel & an ordinary tiny soap provided no other toiletries. 5. Here, the definition of non veg food means serving egg victual..!!? 6. Pillow covers were stinking but got replaced on request. 7. No lunch provided.

Today I was an audience to their one of the competition and the judgement was a shocker to many of the people including me .... Such events gives motivation to people but such shocking judging and not giving the prize to the deserving was really hurting ..... Disappointed

One of the best places I've ever stayed at. It's not a luxurious place to stay per say but offers everything you need. It's a heritage building and the location is super convenient for tourists. Gateway of India, marine drive and Colaba causeway are just a walking distance away. The food is very basic but prepared under basic hygiene regulation. The service of all the helpers are commendable. I've stayed there both, as a resident and as a guest and loved the experience. If you're visiting as a guest, you'll even have car parking.

Stayed 2 times and never regretted the stay. Well maintained budget friendly as compared to area and also free complimentary breakfast. You will never regret of staying there as you can easily find restaurants and near to Taj Palace and Gateway of India which is hardly a Km away..

It was bad experience..... Actually my dada who is not capable to walk.he nad polio on his legs so without wheelchair he cannot walk a single step. For night stay we did advance booking in well known hotel YMCA but such well reputed and know hotel don't have wheelchair entry or lift. When we reach it was 1am and at that late night we run for searching another hotel.

What a place in the middle of the city for back packers and family who needs all around accomodation. Those who crib do not try...

YMCA is a very to the point accommodation option. It is exceptionally well located. Just 200 meters from the iconic Leopold's Cafe. They have basic air conditioned double occupancy rooms for which they charge just a nudge over ₹2000. It is safe for ladies and children. 8 am sharp and chai will reach your door. That's about it as far as room service is concerned. No other frills, no kitchen to cook for you. It's best to head out for all your meals since this place is right in the center of town! They have a TV in their rooms with iffy remotes. Washrooms are clean. Cellphone reception is a bit of an issue thanks to the Victorian stone walls. Ample parking for two and four wheelers, which is a big boon this side of town.

The rooms are good, and within budget. Anyone wanting to stay for 1-2 nights can definitely go for this one. The staff is cooperative. The location is excellent with many restaurant in the nearby area. They also provide free WiFi

Decent place and little expensive. The building is old, but the community and surrounding is good. They provide food and accommodation. Also has table tennis, basket ball court, gym and laundry facilities. Walkable distance from the Gateway of India.

YMCA NEEDS no introduction and the colaba YMCA is iconic landmark of Mumbai in a heritage building on wodehouse road colaba. The place has number of activities with music and dance classes and also a basketball court and a gymnasium. A climbing wall is also newly added for rock climbumg enthusiasts. A nice place and reasonable membership fee . A very affordable and welcome spot in an otherwise busy city where the focus is more on commerce and all things economic that mental and physical wellbeing of its citizens .One of the YMCA tag line " why join a club when you can join a cause " sums it up.. A cause with plenty of affordable recreation!

Wonderful place to place table tennis, basketball, and other sports. Very homely atmosphere.

As the name suggests, this place is for men. Has a hostel for working men who come to Bombay from outside. Apply in advance as there is a long waiting period. Wonderful facilities. Vintage structure but impeccably maintained. Close proximity to Nariman Point and the High Court so you'll most find finance guys and lawyers here. Non residents can take memberships and enroll for the gym, sports, music etc.
