Came here to sample some wine. There was plenty to choose from. Some I really liked and others not so much but that is my personal preference.

Our 1st time visiting Sand Castle Winery and not disappointed at all. When we drove up the drive and turned the corner, to see a sand castle in a vineyard, just brought a smile to my face. The castle is beautiful with stunning views. Very nice selection of wines. I had the dry riesling and my husband had the sangria. Both are very good. We came with friends and they LOVE the alpine spice! They had a nice fruit and cheese tray for purchase or you can bring snacks. Nice, comfortable seating areas or you can sit under the tent at table. Sand Castle has performers come and we saw The John DeRosa band. A shout out to John and Joey for an AMAZING performance. My daughter (far end) surprised me (in the hat) with a birthday visit to the Sand Castle winery and it was a great treat. My sister and niece were the ultimate surprise. Our host, Brian was the absolute BEST! His humor and knowledge of their wines, and food pairings had me captivated. I was all giggles. Brian went above and beyond to, not only recommend a restaurant not too far away, but to sketch directions, roads and all. The only things missing were longitude and latitude coordinates (he has serious artistic skills 🥰). I will definitely be making a return visit! Perhaps on one of their comedy happy hour nights. You gotta love the Cuvee!!!!! Best wine ever…

We had an enjoyable time during our first visit to the Sand Castle Winery. The building has a castle design and is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a good selection of wines and we chose the semi-sweet Riesling. It was still a bit sweet but our favorite choice among the other available wines. We also purchased the cheese and fruit plate which is a must-have! It was excellent and included four different cheeses, crackers, grapes and even a loaf cake. Overall a pleasant experience and we will certainly be back.

I came about 10 mins before closing I did a quick tasting but it was delicious! The wines are a great selection and when you go outside the views and how quiet it is it’s beautiful! I got the dessert wine ! The space upstairs it absolutely beautiful and the views are so nice!

We had a lovely visit! We stopped by for the tasting and got to try 12 wines. 🍷🥴 The host was a fountain of cooking tips, wine pairings, and historical information. Definitely a fun afternoon!

I came here for my mom's birthday and we had an excellent time! The space was beautiful with a medieval flare and the views of the vineyard and the river are stunning. Scott gave us a tour of the vineyard and showed us the types of grapes grown on the property, the cellar where its produced and gave us all kinds of information about the types of wine created here. We did our tasting with Mark and he was amazing: kind, friendly, charming, and super knowledgeable about the wines and good pairings for them. After the tasting he took us to have a closer look into the vineyard and showed us the differences between chardonnay and pinot grapes. All in all, a five star experience that I'm going to reccomend to all my friends.

We went 4 of us to a wine tasting. 12 types of wine are part of the tasting plan. Tyler our server was excellent. We had a great time and a lot of fun. Sand Castle is a gorgeous place with fabulous views of the vineyards and the countryside. Excellent wines.

I cannot explain how amazing Sand Castle Winery was for our 10/02/2020 wedding! We originally planned our reception at a country club but due to COVID, we needed an outdoor venue. Within 2 months, Dean and the vendors (Farmer's Keep & Bucks Mont Party Rental) planned the most magical day of our lives. I couldn't recommend Sand Castle more to future couples!! The pictures are proof themselves of how romantic and serene the winery is. Perfect for a wedding!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Sand Castle Winery! We are staying in the area for a little vacation and decided to book a wine tasting session at Sand Castle. Our wine expert, Sam, guided us through the wine tasting and shared a lot about the winery's history, the winery's wine process, and accurately described each wine she poured. It was informative and entertaining. We left with 4 bottles of wine, one of which being their famous Alpine Spice, which is perfect for the winter time. I would recommend anyone coming here for a fun afternoon! I would advise finding your own means of transportation as we had issues getting consistent rides from Lyft and Uber just FYI!
