Great location on the D&L. Biked 35 miles here (from Bethlehem) on the trail for an overnight biking trip. Short ride into town for lunch and beverages. Very minimal campsite but exactly what I wanted. Bathrooms are a bit of a walk but very close porta potty. The park itself is nice as well with lots of open space, a playground, disc golf, and even Saturday polo matches when in season.

We go here mainly for the summertime polo matches every Saturday afternoon. It's great to tailgate and watch the action! Bring snacks if you like. Tent, chairs, etc. Only $10 a car entry fee. Great value for a couple hours of fun for the whole family. Very friendly atmosphere.

Great little campground tucked back from the road in a heavily wooded area. Our experience was great but Iโ€™m sure that all depends on your neighbors. Bathroom is a little bit of a walk if you donโ€™t want to use the over flowing Port-a-John. Only complaint would be the standing deadwood in and over the campsites. Brother hooked his hammock to one of the trees and when he laid in it the tree shook and lost a few branches. It was for sure his fault since he didnโ€™t check. Just a heads up for any looking to hammock camp.

This is one of my favorite places to camp, especially while cycling. It's not usually very busy and it's right on the D&L Canal trail. The sights are nicely separated by greenery and are quiet because they're far from the road. The toilets and running water are a long walk from the sites, but they are always clean and well maintained. Plus, there is a nice disc golf course. Highly recommended.

We always enjoy walking along the canal here. There's always something to see in any season. There's plenty of parking, disk golf, and historic buildings as well.

Polo here is awesome! I just recently was a part of an arts festival for the Tinicum civic association and it was wonderful. Definitely returning next year!!!

I love Tinicum park! I enjoy walking along the paths with my dogs and always meet nice people along the way. It's my understanding you can also camp here for a reasonable rate. There's also a fun disc golf course. Absolutely recommend!

A road (or towpath) less travelled. A great place for walking, running, biking and strolling with a little one. When the canal is full of water it is so much better but alas it is mostly not.

Great starting point for biking. Right now the Pa trail is closed at Lambertville bridge. But typically this makes a nice 20 mile trail loop. Staring at this park, crossing at Lambertville then following the NJ trail up to the next crossing and back to PA. There are nice shops, restaurants and scenery along the way and in the summer there are great places to stop and picnic or take a dip in the river.

Polo picnic fun day. Worth the small fee they charge per car. You pack and bring your own picnic and watch the riders play polo. Great fun.

A great, open field park. We make use of the well planned disc golf course although there never are any course layout/score cards. Always a fun time.

If you plan on river rafting for free, plan to be out there all day. It took us 5 hours to reach the end point. It was a good time, but just too long. Be careful of the shelf drop right before the large bridge. You will hear the water running over the drop way before you hit it. It does not look bad just looking at it, but when you hit it, it is bigger than it looks. Make sure all of your belongings are secured. Meaning sealed water tight and TIED DOWN. Or you will lose your stuff.

I can tell you honestly I have never been to a Polo Match before this weekend, but I am certain to be back! For $10 per car you can tailgate the games occurring at the park. The car next to us won best tailgating and got a prize so we will be back next time with an even better set up! Great way to experience something new and get out of the house on a beautiful (albeit rainy) day.
