We have been a Fresno UMA family now for at least 7 years. I have watched my child grow from a scarred timid white belt hiding under Sensei's chairs in the seating area to a black belt in training on the verge of mastering the in-depth lesson plans for promotion. I have watched many of the students grow into excellent staff/employees for Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy. I have watched my son grow great bonds with his instructors and respect for his Sensei and Marital Arts in general. I have had the pleasure of building strong mutually respective relationships with my fellow Adult Kickboxing peers which I cherish greatly. I literally have watch the building grow into a larger school to accommodate all who wish to join when Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy renovated and merged the adjacent build to increase student capacity. I have been blessed with finding Sensei Rudy's dojo to keep me healthy and fit while also being blessed with Miss Wendy's excellent managerial service for every scenario or situation off the mat. Fresno UMA is the one Constant in our families busy life that has always been an anchor for our troubled days and worrisome nights. Covid-19 has been a nightmare for all families around the world, but one light in the darkness for our family here in Fresno, CA has been the strength, the companionship, and love that our Fresno UMA has given us all these years. I plan on attending Fresno UMA forever, because I believe in Sensei Rudy and Miss Wendy's vision for teaching Martial Arts. I feel their love for students, parents, and staff everyday I step into our dojo. Sensei Rudy is the BEST! I've always wanted to try kickboxing, and attending his kickboxing class is the best decision I made. The community here is tight knit and very respectful to each other. He's very supportive of his students, and encourages us to continue growing. If you're reading this, this is your sign to try out his class!

My daughter has been going here for 7 years we wouldn't take it back for the world. We love the Ultimate Family Environment at Fresno Ultimate Martial Arts. We have never met a sensei like him. Sensei is loved by all with a genuine love for teaching, reaching and respect and love for all. The kids really are excited about learning and drivin to do better in all aspects. I have had the privilege to train with Sensei Rudy and his students at Ultimate Martial Arts for over 10 years! Sensei Rudy runs a fantastic dojo that is geared towards everyone from the beginner looking to get in shape, to the seasoned professional martial artist who is looking to challenge themselves. The environment is very welcoming! I was completely blown away by the classes that were taught by Sensei Rudy and his staff. The classes were organized, really fun, HIGH energy, and very interactive. I watched the staff teach, correct, and give a ton of attention to each student in the group classes. Sensei Rudy has the unique gift of bringing out the best in his students and it's quite obvious that he really enjoys spending time on the mat teaching. If you are in the area I highly recommend trying a class!

I’ve been going to UMA since 2011 and it’s by far the best Martial Arts Academy I know! Everyone is like family and is treated with so much respect and love! You won’t find it anywhere else! Rudy and Wendy are the greatest! Always recommend them to anyone interested in learning!

This place has given my daughter the drive and determination to give her all at something she's full functioning autistic and this program has been amazing for her progression. The Sensai and the other teachers are amazing they encourage the children and don't put them down instead they applaud them for there hard work definitely an amazing place !!!!! Great lady in the office . Very understanding and absolutely great with the children and parents !! Fun environment

My son and his cousins joined the program. The whole staff is great with kids. The kids are excited to come in every week and learn new things. The staff is always encouraging and ask about behaviors at home so they can combine that into the lessons of the day. Recommend anyone to this

The staff is very friendly, my son is 3 and they have been so patient with him since he’s very shy. My daughter is 5 and she loves her instructors.

I was a single mom on a strict budget. One day I made a mistake and paid $20 over. I spoke with the owners and had an understanding that I would get my money back within a day or two. Not only did they make constant excuses NOT to give my money back but got so angry w my asking they pulled my 10 year old out of mid-class and openly took their anger out on HIM in front of everyone!!! SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE FOR DOING SUCH A THING OVER $20. DISGUSTING ADULTS. If they did this to us they will do it to you and your kids when you have a money disagreement. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My kids had an amazing first day. All instructors were very helpful and made the kids feel comfortable. They also helped them keep up with the class and made sure they understand what was being taught before moving on. We look forward to being apart of ultimate martial arts and continuing with the classes.

We love UMA! My two boys have had an incredible experience here the last 2 years. They have become much more agile and disciplined. All of the instructors are incredible! I can't recommend this place enough!!

My daughter's first day here. It was awesome. Super fun atmosphere, and all the instructors were so great. She had a great time and a pretty good workout.
