I love this place!! Even though it’s always super packed and it’s hard finding a table the food makes up for it. The ribs are the best! And the bbq sauce is on point !

Never a dull moment at Dog House Grill. Good times, delicious food, refreshing drinks. Cool place to hang, watch sports, and eat. Indoor and patio dining. Plan accordingly because Dog House has a huge customer attendance.

What a place to go eat at. They have everything from a light lunch to a very well made rack of ribs. Stop by and see that the hype is real. Just check out my picture BBQ Ribs, Calamari, Steak sandwich and about 2 lbs of fries. WOW!!!!

Oh wow, if you like ribs like I do, this is the place for you. A full rack is available at a reasonable price and perfectly cooked. 👌 I like my ribs dry so I can add as much BBQ sauce as I want. They are happy to serve their delicious ribs dry. They also make perfect huge baskets of onion rings. An unbeatable combination with a nice frosty brew and many huge screen TVs around to watch your favorite teams battle it out on.

Let me say that this place is a one of a kind experience. Dog House was recommended to me and let me tell you It did not disappoint. The tri-tip is not of this world. How they were able to get this animal flesh taste so good I do not know. Great seating and friendly staff. Did I mention the prices were amazing!? Get the tri-tip!

I know a lot of people like this place but I can honestly say that it isn’t that good… the way the place is set up as far as seating and the order window is a bit odd. But we got a seat almost immediately so that was cool. I had the tri tip tacos and they were big but just so so as far as quality but for $5 a taco it was a lot of food. My son had a cheese burger and he didn’t like it very much so go check it out and have your own experience. The wait staff was super friendly and they got us in and out pretty quickly so that was appreciated but the food just didn’t make the cut!

Salads were pretty good. Too much blue cheese on mine though. Took over the taste for sure. Will try something new next time i go!

Dog House Grill, 07/26/23 It had been some years that we had eaten here but the food was still excellent & it was so "Delicious & Yummy"! 😋 Everything had such good flavor I had gotten the barbecue ribs dinner & my daughter & granddaughter had gotten two different kinds of sandwiches plus french fries & onion rings & I got some french fries also plus our drinks. It's a great place to watch all of the sports on the great big TV's & just to hang out with family & friends over good food & drinks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s & 💯%+ Thanks to our server & to all of the team members!!! For making it a great night. 😎👍

The fries are everything.😋❤️✨ We love their fries and the ABC hamburger.🍔 We ask for it well done and cut in half. Yes, the picture is one hamburger cut in half. So you can imagine how big they are. ✨🍔 Everything was delicious. And they always have great customer service.

I've been a regular at DogHouse Grill since my college days at Fresno State in 2009, and I'm happy to say the quality of their food has consistently impressed me. The service here is always friendly and helpful, adding to the overall great experience. My favorites are the Veggie Patty sandwich and the Tri-Tip sandwich - both are incredibly tasty and satisfying. But the real star for me is their fries, easily some of the best in Fresno. I absolutely love dipping them in BBQ sauce and then ranch; it's a flavor combo that never disappoints. I've even polished off a half-basket on my own! I've also tried their tacos, which are generously sized, and their salads, which are not only large but also delicious with their dressing. A few tips for anyone planning to visit DogHouse: if you're in a small group of 2-3, try grabbing a table at the bar to order, as it's usually easier to find seating there. For larger groups, I recommend having one person stand in line to order while the others secure a table in the dining area, since it's self-seating and can get pretty crowded, especially in the winter when the outdoor patio isn't an option. The only real downside to DogHouse is the parking. The lot is small and fills up fast, and you can't park across the street without risking a tow. I've had to park a couple of blocks away and walk to the restaurant on several occasions, but honestly, the food and experience are worth that little bit of extra effort.

First time in Fresno being a CA native lol. Tried this place based on reviews, no regrets. Enjoyed all our food. The place was busy on a weekday. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town or just waiting at the airport to connect, close enough that you can Uber. FYI: side of fries was huge, enough for a fam of 4. Less one star for 2 things: 1) small parking lot given they’re busy 2) confusing how to order/get your food. We told 2 ways, sit down and they’ll take your order or order first and find a seat. We weren’t told which area was which. So we sat down waiting for our waiter/ess. It was no big deal.

I love this place and the food is really good, the portions are very large and everything is well priced. The only small downfall is anything that is above table height looks like it hasn't been cleaned well honesty ever. Also the ketchup bottles look really old and smell funny. Just get the BBQ from them instead. They also have happy hour deals.

Great place if you want some alcoholic drinks and good food while watching your sports. Great environment for the kids also kids menu is an option for them or just a tri tip sandwich which is really delicious. Service you can get at table side if you can find a spot. We haven't been here since the whole shutdown, there food is still awesome and their portion sizes are huge,so everybody can share.

If I had to rate on food alone they'd get 5 stars! The tri-tip sandwich is a must have, the BBQ sauce is thick, sweet, and tangy. Ordered a 🐔 sandwich this time and it did not disappoint. Love the fries, thin, crunchy shoe strings. I always order the basket. Started coming here well over 6 years ago, the place has not changed very much, in a good way 😊 Great place to have a drink, and catch a few games. Expect a wait for parking, to get inside and order, and to get a seat!

I’m basing my review based off from one visit. I’ve never been to Doghouse and ordered takeout. I ordered their tri-tip tacos. The salsa was not good, it had huge chunks of onion and tomatoes. I ordered avocado on the side and it tasted a little bit off. The tacos were alright. Maybe I need to dine-in to get a better experience?

Very good portions! Food was good overall, no complaints. I've had very good barbecue, including in Oklahoma and Texas so I'm picky. But I would go here again. I had the ribs and spicy chicken wings.

Staff were fantastic. Extremely quick and friendly service that goes above and beyond the price point. Skip the chain restaurant and come here. The food is extremely good and hot. The portions are large and the atmosphere is inviting. If I’m ever in or near Fresno again, I will be a repeat customer.

Exactly what we needed after a long weekend in Yosemite and Sequoia national parks. You can either stand in line and wait for your order in the self service area or sit in the full service area where they take your order. The service was super quick, our cups were constantly refilled, and everything we asked for we got in a minute or less. Food was delicious, we took the full rack of ribs, and two tri tip sandwiches with a basket of mixed onion rings and fries for 4 people and were stuffed! All in all paid less than 80$ total it up included for a delicious and reasonably priced meal!

Let's say that the "Pitmaster" Needs to learn how to BBQ. I got "Pig Sandwich" That thing was a choking hazard. It was beyond dry and had no flavor ! The slaw had no flavor ! The BBQ sauce had way too much molasses! To the pit master Take pride in your food, learn how to make bbq sauce Learn how to make slaw . To the owner Invest in a pit master because the rest of your place is very nice . Pictured below is your pit master's pulled pork sandwich. Very hard to eat !!! The whole hog pics are of my work , I can make pulled pork and I take pride in my work "If it ain't whole hog it ain't BBQ"

The food was amazing! The pork sandwich was huge, fries delicious, onion rings cooked perfectly! Staff were all very friendly, and all seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. This was my first time at the Dog House Grill, and I would stop here again next time I am in Fresno.

Finally made it out after being referred a few years ago. And must say it doesn’t disappoint. Very very busy on weekends but the staff was fast and courteous and dwindled the line down quickly and we had ordered a found seats within 20 minutes. Food was good and plentiful accompanied by some nice cold beers. Highly recommended in the Fresno area

Popular place in town. Not keen on finding your own place to sit/eat vs. host/ess and it's ALWAYS busy. Limited parking. This is more of a family friendly sports pub. Southwest Caesar salad was light/refreshing. Tri tip sandwich was dry and unseasoned.

The food is good with big portions and lots of meat for the price. I think a couple could easily split a main dish and a side of fries or rings if you don't want to bring home left overs. It was pretty warm inside when we were there I think even some industrial fans to move the air would help. Service was ok nothing exceptional. It's pretty loud inside so not really a place that's conducive to carrying on a conversation.
