This restaurant is always 5* for service, food quality and drinks. We're always celebrating a birthday, anniversary or date night. It's in our top 3 for fine dining in Fresno. I highly recommend the scallops, eggplant appetizer and bread pudding. SO yummy 😋

I love The Cracked Pepper for a special occasion dinner. We had the Tomahawk steak and it was so delicious. (Note: this is a special, and not on the regular menu, so call to check before you go.) They also have a really good bread pudding. The service has always been excellent, and they have a really nice outdoor space for dining as well. I only wish they had bottles of wine in the $30 range.

Where do I begin. The Restaurant is nice very clean and comfortable the service is excellent and very attentive to detail. Over all this is the perfect restaurant until you eat the food. Starter $19.50 Eggplant Napoleon Tasty and very interesting this was the Best thing we ate at the restaurant very interesting and very delicious combination of flavor. Stilton Blue Salad with bacon $18.00 Hard Little Gem Wedges with no Flavor they put a Drizzle of port reduction with 2 slices of pear and 3 Nuts the greens are half in edible because you cant really eat the bottom of the wedges. Herb Chicken $31.50 Dry bland and way Overcooked this was easily one the worst tasting Chicken dishes ever had in my life. The Chicken was Butterflied and the Butter Sauce they put on was bland and boring accompanied by Steamed Vegetables with absolutely no seasoning this was a very sad display of execution on the kitchens part best thing on plate was the Marscapone mashed Potatoes. The world famous Bread Pudding ( Thats what the Server said ) $14 A Big Flavorless piece of warm bread with a Caramel ring of Sysco Processed Caramel and topped with a flavorless Whipped Cream but they call this a Chantilly Cream (No Flavor No Sugar No Vanilla, Nothing) this was really sad. A great bread pudding is the ultimate way to end a meal and this lackluster version really reminds you at the end of the night that this place is no more than an over priced Under flavored establishment that caters to rich older folks who have no real Culinary Palate. Other than the Napoleon this is a real shame and a very disappointing night.

Wow! The best service we've ever had! Our waitress/bartender was so attentive and always acknowledged us. We got ribeye steak and bread pudding bites....everything delicious. The restaurant itself is not as big as I thought it would be but it's very nice. Upscale dining. Gourmet plates. Our total was $88 for 2 drinks, 1 entree, and 1 dessert. Dark ambience. I do not recommend sitting by the entrance because we had the cold air hitting us constantly...winter time:/ But 5 stars for the service!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is amazing and hands down one of my favorite places to eat in fresno. Last time I was there we started out with the Mala-Insana Napoleon which is there eggplant appetizer then for my meal I had the ribeye and my wife had the NewYork. Both were amazing!!! And of course we ended our meal with the bread pudding and it was just as good as everything else on the menu. So if your looking for a classy place to have dinner then you should check out Cracked Pepper. Oh yeah and make sure you make reservations or it's going to be hard to get in.

Tonight was my first time here. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. I would love to thank whoever hired Lea, Ellis, Lauren, Sara, and Layla. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is delicious!

My favorite restaurant ever. All time. Very pricey, but everything on the menu is good. I think I’ve had it all. Here’s what you do: appetizer - Eggplant and goat cheese dish. Main plate - anything. Dessert - Bread Pudding. That’s the secret. Enjoy!

My partner had reservations for a patio seat for a month, we also noted on the reservation that it was for a special occasion- our anniversary. We got there and we're seated inside. When we asked about it we were told the patio had been bought out for the evening. Wish that had been communicated. We left because they did not honor that part of our reservation.

Sat at the bar... service was good. Blonde bartender was very nice and made good drinks. Food was pretty good. Had scallops and crab cakes. The manager came by several times to make sure everything was to our liking. The friendly and attentive service was much appreciated. Nice ambiance. Would have been nicer with music. Overall very positive experience.

Out of the handful of great restaurants in the Fresno area, I chose Cracked Pepper Bistro based on the menu items and pictures here on Google Maps, and they certainly did not disappoint! Worth mentioning was the Mala Insana Napoleon appetizer—a must-order item—as it was so greaaaat! Different kind of textures and flavors so well blended together: the crispiness from the pumpkin seed encrusted eggplant contrasted with the softness of the tomatoes, paired with the creaminess/smoothness from the goat cheese and the crunchiness from the walnut pesto between the veggie layers. There were a lot going on, but harmoniously! So good! The Stilton Blue Salad was also very good. I have never seen little gem lettuces and was pleasantly surprised by the small size, which made very good presentation. The saltiness of the blue cheese paired very well with the sweetness of the Asian pear and candied walnuts, but I wish there were just a bit more of the pear and walnut pieces to make a better balance. I also wish the port wine reduction to be a little stronger so the taste will come through better. We were full after our meal but couldn't resist ordering the Bread Pudding. It's so nice that they offer an unbaked option so we can bake it at home to enjoy. It came with instructions and was easy/error-proof to bake, and the results were great and delicious! Definitely another must-order item! The Ahi Tuna appetizer and Short Ribs entree we ordered were well-executed well and good-tasting (as expected). So this was our dinner experience: food was delicious, and the service was meticulous and warm but not too much. We will definitely be back!

Everything went well. Lauren was fantastic. Food was cooked perfectly and came out unexpectedly fast. Only thing that bummed me out was their food selection. I was hoping to try something a little more high end. Other than that, we shall see in the near future if they'll take that in consideration. Thank you

Cracked Pepper has never disappointed, but today they went above and beyond to make sure the experience was amazing. I took my 6 year old daughter on a dad/daughter date for the first time at a fancy restaurant tonight. She’s a very shy kid at first but EVERYONE at cracked pepper made her feel welcomed, safe and excited to be there. Within 3 minutes she was a chatter box, from the hostess to the servers, the manager and even the owner, I cant express how much fun she had and how much she loved the food and all the desserts. From the service, to the food, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, they have 2 patrons for life.
