I only came to try their whiskey and it did not disappoint. It was crowded when we arrived so good indication that the food is good as well. We did sample the Chipotle and chips and they were worth getting again. My friend even bought a pint of the Chipotle sauce. The homemade chips were warm and well salted. Give this place a shot.

Clueless servers, terrible service. Well, actually we had no service. We waited 20 min to be noticed and seated. And we waited about 10 min before a waitress took drink orders for another 2-person party that arrived 10 min AFTER us (we were also a 2-person party). Nobody even took drink orders for us and there weren't even that many people at the restaurant. We felt invisible. We were so upset we left and went to Luna's Pizzeria down the street (and nobody noticed us leaving). Better food and better service at Luna's. Been at Luna's for under 5 min now, it's busier there, drink orders were already taken, and we were already served bread. Never going back to Michelangelo's again

The food was so good and the bread is so tasty, enjoy the good mix drinks. First time there and knowing it's a Family own. Cant wait to go back

We went with family, and our grandsons. They loved the pizza, as did we. We also ordered homemade tortilla bread with sauce, chicken, salad, and meatball sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious! By the way, their Old Fashion cocktail is the best I've ever had!

It's been about 13 years since I've frequented this establishment. Recently moved back to the area with my husband and WOW! The pasta and pizza is amazing. The service was impeccable. Such a warm, family oriented environment. The bar and dining was slammed but everybody had a smile on their faces. Such a local gem for delicious confort food and great bourbon!

Been coming here for years and each time the food and service exceed expectations. The family own and work in the place. They have the best service I've experienced and will continue going back. Highly recommend this place. The stromboli is amazing btw

I'm not a fan of sports bars, so I am biased in my review of the atmosphere. Bartender was wonderful and knowledgeable. The Chicago style pizza was incredible!

This is the second time in two weeks I’ve gone in. I love this place Adrian and Diego make one of the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. The knowledge and passion for whiskey comes through the beverage! Food is very tasty! Customer service is amazing! Thank you gents for the experience and libations! Cheers!

Worth the hype! Came for the extraordinary cocktails & whiskeys (classics and innovative modern riffs) and despite my travel to cocktail bars throughout the US, this spot in Clovis is world class. The bartender, Diego, really knows his stuff and is super friendly, helpful and approachable. Cool fun vibe and friendly people in the whole place. Our server Desiree was genuine, friendly and recommended the best options. We weren’t expecting that the food would also bring us back; lasagna was best ever, Calzone is a new favorite; wings were on point. Homemade, fresh and quality. Ordered more to take home but forgot and left the items at our table until Omar ran to the parking lot to deliver them to us. Cant wait to take our out of town friends and family here. Great spot for date or family meal or for celebratory drinks!

Went to Michelangelo's for the first time tonight and feel pretty ripped off by the prices. The menu prices on their website are a good 15% lower than the prices on the printed menu in the restaurant and you're automatically charged the instore menu prices, plus there is a 4% upcharge for using a non-cash payment method that is mentioned instore but is nowhere to be found on their website, so before you know it, you're charged an extra 20%, not counting tip! I politely pointed all this out to the staff and they apologized and agreed fully, but no offer to make it right with us was made. On top of that, the pizza was just okay, certainly not bad, but nothing to write home about (better pizza is at Florentina's off Armstrong and Shaw, 5 minutes away), and the salads, while generous in quantity, were watery. First time coming there, won't be coming back, and will dissuade others from going there. Pretty sad for a non-chain restaurant, but fix your own website and just make your prices the credit price and offer a DISCOUNT for cash if you want.

Service was great no complaints if you want to grab a beer but unfortunately pizza was terrible if you want to have a slice of pizza made from cardboard with some sprinkles of cheese on top then this is the place for you. Waiter new I didn't like the pizza and asked what was wrong with it and if I had any comments to take back to the cheff ........yes bring me more beer so the pizza is forgettable in the morning Guess I didn't drink enough beer

The pizza and pasta is very good. Lots of whiskeys to choose from. However, service and food come out extremely slow. When we dined in, it took almost 1 hr to get our food. During takeout we order 30mins ahead and still wait another 15-20minutes to get our food. They seem very short staffed and it's translating to poor customer service. Make sure you come here off peak or you'll wait forever.

The pizza(Davinci) we got was completely tasteless. The pizza ingredients and sauces on the menu are not remotely Italian, more like local concoctions. The beers are interesting and atypical. Our waitress was very nice and pleasant, but the service was slow. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

Went here with a bunch of the fellas, and it was fantastic! We ordered 5 or 6 different dishes and just passed them around, all of them were tasty! They have all the whiskies you've ever enjoyed, and plenty more that you've never heard of. The staff are very knowledgeable, and each table seems to get attention from every waiter. We'll absolutely be going back! Top dishes for us were the calzone and taquitos. The Old Fashioned was next level as well.

We had the pleasure of being served by Omar tonight. He was so friendly and extremely informative in regards to the menu and the best drinks to order. He shared so much history of the restaurant with us during our visit. Our whole experience was top notch. Job well done everyone.

Had a great dinner at this family owned restaurant in Old Town Clovis. I had The Centennial which was served with Fresno State sausage. Opted for the pink sauce and it was delicious. I had to ask for a to go container so I would stop eating and not make myself miserable. My friend had the lasagna and our server said the mother makes it from scratch and you could really tell. Will be back!

A great family owned, quality restaurant for pizza, calzones, salads, and a separate full bar area with happy hour selections. Customize your own pizza! All pizza orders can have up to 8 toppings included. Nice atmosphere and part of old town Clovis. Really delicious food!

Excellent service, Great hand made food and the best "Old Fashioned" cocktail I've had anywhere. Tip: Try the chicken quesadilla toasted with spicy ranch. It's not what it sounds like. Update: Even more and insanely good cocktails available now.

Sometimes you find a place worth an unsolicited review and multiple visits. Michelangelo's is just that place. The first impression is a welcoming and accommodating staff willing to ensure the customer are greeted and treated with respect. You can tell the restaurant is family-owned as they make you feel like part of the family when you walk in. The service is excellent and the food superb. We ordered a calzone (Calzone - Make it the Mo) and a pizza (Van Gogh) to try out their specialties (Credit to the Chef Omar, outstanding job). Both were by far the best we have ever eaten. The other surprising part of the restaurant is the drinks. Michelangelo's has by far the best collection of whiskey I have seen in a long time. Their bartender (Diego) created some great cocktails and let us try some assortments of whiskeys showing good knowledge of what he was serving. If you can find yourself in the Fresno area, stop by and experience what Michelangelo's has to offer. You will not be disappointed and are guaranteed to go again. It will become our go-to restaurant.

It's rather noisy, we were having trouble hearing what other people at the table were saying. The food was good, I ordered the calzone and ate all of it. The wait staff worked hard to ensure we had a nice dinner.

Tried this family owned pizzeria in Old town Clovis for the first time , called them ahead but they don’t take reservations, on reaching the wait time was 45 mins so we ended up sitting in their small patio . Our server was sweet and kind but the service was very slow , food was good but nothing exceptional

Overrated regarding their Old Fashion's. Food was average at best. I had so much hope for this place after the rave reviews I heard from my brother in law. Wedding soup was salty. Marinara sauce was too sweet. Could have used more seasoning, i.e. garlic and such. Wouldn't go back. Not the worse in Fresno/Clovis area...just not great

Fantastic selection of whiskeys, food is excellent. Always a great time and staff treats you like family. Friendly and fast service, attentive and punctual. If you are looking for a whisky bar, this is the place. Bartender knows his stuff and can recommend you something if you ask. Chipotle sauce and chips/garlic bread is amazing.
