Good service. The freshly squeezed orange juice give Jamba a run for their money. The pancakes are tasty and fluffy, love the cinnamon one. The hot side are a bit bland. The omelets are were a little on the smaller side also. But love the wall of challengers, love to see the YouTubers like Matt stone, Eric the electric and Reina is crazy come by and try their pancake challenge.

Batter Up breakfast is consistent with many options. Even healthy pancakes. Portion sizes are good and they are quick. They serve Coca-Cola products. Grandson loved the oreo waffles. I stick with the top of the mound omelet and have them scramble with country potatoes (that are seasoned). I heard the smores is good too. Sweet if you like sweet. Grandson said that's his next try. The pancakes are huuuge and are the size of the plate so I never finish it. If hungryyyyy get 2.

Our first time here and the servers were very nice and the atmosphere was good. The inside layout was very cute and unique, sort of old school looking but they definitely need more seating. We ordered pancakes and the tri tip sandwich. The fruit in the pancakes were very good, pancakes itself was decent and more on the moist and doughy side. It was our first time so we didn’t expect the portions to be so huge! But it filled us up quick and made it look like we barely ate anything when we actually did. What we ordered could’ve fed 2 other people with us. The sandwich was good and the bread was crispy. None of it was dry. The fries were ok, need ketchup to eat with. The sausage and bacon that came with our pancakes were delicious. Wouldn’t mind coming back to try a few of their other options.

We ate here about 12 years ago and weren't impressed. This time we ordered specialty pancakes and wow, they were good. I had a cup of coffee and the cinnamon roll pancake, my wife had the cheesecake pancake and tea. We should have asked for the senior discount on the drinks. We both took half our pancakes home and they heated up nicely. It's not a place I'd have breakfast regularly as it was mid $40 including tip. Also it was many more calories than we needed!

We went to Batter Up at the recommendation of our family. I had no idea what to expect, but boy, were we surprised. Their pancakes are beyond anything you've ever tried before. Honestly. There's REALLY good. We ordered the cinnamon roll pancake, and it was so huge I could only eat half. Fluffy goodness on top with slight sugary crunch on the bottom. I'll be back to try the banana nut with coconut syrup. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed.

Went for the first time on Friday morning. My family and I used their app to check in before arriving which saved us a lot of time because they were busy! You can only use the app if you have a party of 4 or less for check in. We got seated and it took a bit of time before they got to our drinks. When they did, we were ready to order. Our waitress was very nice and got our food out very quickly. The food was awesome! The pancakes are all plate size! Overall a great experience for any breakfast goer.

Visiting Fresno, Ca and wanted to try a mom & pop breakfast spot. Decided to try Batter Up and boy, let me tell you. I let my server order for me bc the choices all looked so good. Raylene, our server, brought me the chili Verde omelette and it just might be the best omelette I’ve ever had! The eggs are fluffy. The meat melts in your mouth and the cheese and verde sauce was bursting with flavor. Then, on Raylene’s suggestion, I had the half coffee cake, half cinnamon swirl pancake. I typically don’t like complicated pancakes, but this was a most outstanding pancake. No syrup needed. Just dig in. It goes very well with coffee, too.

This is a noisy diner-style restaurant with a huge menu, containing a vast array of breakfast choices. The large dining room is great for any age and can accommodate any size group. We had the ½ order and full order of French toast. Very well prepared and tasty. Their Lanna coffee has a strong bold flavor. Very happy we ate here, will definitely go again. If you are leary of proximity and have covid concerns, this may not be a good choice for you, as the seating indoors, can be tight. Although, they have a patio for dining alfresco. ❤

First-timers at Batter Up. This place didn't disappoint, we ordered Mike's Breakfast, Tessa Cate's Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and a side of bacon along with biscuits and gravy. All food was delicious! Going to try something different next time as all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked flavorsome. We also purchased a bag of their famous pancake mix to bring with us. The Staff was helpful and courteous. I definitely will go back and I highly recommend this place for breakfast.

First time coming to this location. There was no wait, staff was amazing! I ordered chilaquiles which I will say were spicy! 🔥 Hubs got the wild pitch omelet with a pancake. Both of our plates were soo good. I typically don’t like pancakes but it was so good I ate half of his. I look forward to coming back and trying new things.

The best breakfast spot in town. Sometimes the wait to get a table is crazy but definitely worth the wait.

Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. However the service was incredible and they got us seated quickly. I had the chorizo omelet with biscuit and gravy and it was perfect!! The pancakes are out of this world big and tasty. Girlfriend tired the chili Verde breakfast burrito and it was to die for! 10/10 stop by and enjoy anything they have.

This place is absolutely the place to go for breakfast. The down fall for it being such an amazing restraunt is that wait times can be very long, something over an hour. Almost like they should expand or make the restraunt bigger. Other than that the food was beyond EXCEPTIONAL!!!! The menu is has plentiful options for everybody and the atmosphere is great and has great videos. Service was prompt and very polite. The Cinnamon Pancakes were to die for but be warned it may send you into DKA or Diabetic Coma. LOL. All in all this restraunt was all around really great and I highly recommend it.

This place is great to bring the family for some breakfast... This place gets packed so make sure you get there early .. wait time was about 30 minutes not to bad... But at the end was so worth it ... I went with the country fried steak and eggs... I give it thumbs up... Comes with a really big pancake that's just so delicious... Big portions of food... So make sure you come hungry.. Thanks again...

Batter up is so good. I got cinnamon roll pancakes and they were out of this world delicious. Just make sure you ask for a glass of water or black coffee with them they are way on the sweet side as you can probably imagine.

The service was great but the vegan pancakes and vegan meal were disappointing. The pancake was thick and dry. The vegan meal consists of hashbrowns and a sauteed vegetables which had no flavor.

My daughter really liked this place. But they made a big mistake this past Tuesday. My daughter is vegan, and she ordered the vegan old-fashioned pancake. And they brought her a regular original. She started eating, and after a few bites, she asked our waitress if it was a vegan one. She said no and that she did hear the vegan part. Which was a disappointment to our breakfast. It was a mistake, but when you've been vegan for years.... it sucks. So pay attention, please. Listen to your customers when they order. I understand the restaurant business can get busy. But it was really slow that morning. She didn't charge for our breakfast. So at least she did that for us, but then we didn't eat our breakfast and left it there.

Breakfast is good. However no small portions priced right. So only $15+ breakfast plates available and the portions are pretty generous but not all of us are big people and can eat that much and some of us are single so splitting breakfast isn't possible. The omelettes here are very weird like runny wet cheese on top. Coffee is top notch. Bacon is great as well. No toast comes with meals really weird. The one manager girl who dresses lazy is very obnoxious and rude. How are you the manager dressing like that craziness? Like sandals and yoga pants 😂. The other employees dress appropriately all except her and it's not Stephanie either. All together this place charges about $3.00 over on most items and even less food than Chubbys and BJ's. AND THEIR LUNCH IS 🤢🤮. Burgers are frozen before being grilled so enjoy.

Ordered two coffees and shared a cinnamon roll pancake with my partner on Christmas Eve for brunch. Service was good and the restaurant was not too busy at the time. If the cinnamon roll played as a synonym role in the middle of a diner, does it make it more delicious? Or less? 🤔 how many coffees does it take to get to see sound and taste color? Some say that in order to answer these questions, trekking on the perilous journey to Batter Up will you find these answers.

It was good. The food was good. But could of been a little better. (hotter longer) It was cold shortly after we got it. But the service was great. The staff was super friendly. There was an hour wait. But we got seated at the bar. Ordered our food and waited about 40 minutes to get it. They did take 1/2 off the check but that's probably why it got cold so fast. Idk. I will be back.

You will wait, and it's WORTH it! This is the best breakfast in California. I moved away 3 years ago, and I will still make the 2 hour drive. This place has the best pancakes, their Chile Verde is to die for. And their service is absolutely top notch.

  • 5/5 H R. 2 years ago on Google
Probably the best pancakes around, make sure that you get the real maple syrup! Been there multiple times and everything we've ordered is really good. Expect a very long wait times. But if you have the time and patience to wait, it's worth it.

Met up with a friend of mine for breakfast, and we never discuss where we're going to eat it's just automatic and unspoken that Batter up is the place. Chile Verde omelets, country potatoes, buttermilk or cinnamon roll pancakes are among my favorites. Add in some fresh squeezed OJ and there's nothing left to say. I've never had anything I didn't like and the staff is on point with the service. You know the food has to be delicious when you have folks willing to wait. Can't wait to go back and enjoy good conversation over delicious food!!

Excellent food and service! One of the best Meat Lovers Omelette's I have ever had!! It was hot, fresh and overflowing with meat and cheese! Very good!! The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious but served warm. I added ice from my ice water and then it was perfect! Look out for the long wait unless you call in and put your name on a waiting list. I noticed that they had several takeout orders. So the secret is to call ahead. Excellent food!!
