Tried this place because it was the highest rated Chinese restaurant. We got the chicken salad, pan fried noodles with chicken, beef fried rice, and the salt and pepper chicken wings. I'll be honest I wasn't a fan of the salad I felt like it was extremely basic lettuce, chicken, dressing and the chicken was boiled which is insane for Chinese chicken salad... A note to that after we were already eating I overheard another group of people order it and complain about it being boiled chicken and the waitress informed them that they can get it fried, why on Earth wouldn't that be on the menu!? Does anyone honestly prefer boiled chicken over fried Chicken on a Chinese chicken salad!? I also feel like the sauce on the salad was way too thick it is a peanut butter sauce I get that but after a while I felt like a dog that ate peanut butter and was over it. Other than that everything was great. I don't think I will be back though Chinese chicken salad is my favorite dish and that was kind of a deal-breaker for me. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I have finally found my go to Chinese restaurant in the Fresno area!! I grabbed takeout on my way home from work and was pleasantly impressed with the quality and flavor of the entrees. The orange chicken was all white meat, high quality chicken and the sauce was wonderfully savory, tangy and citrusy. The Hunan beef was the best I’ve had in years! The beef was sliced super thin which made the pieces delicate and tender and the sauce was out of this world with umami. We also ordered vegetable chow mein which was a great compliment to the two main dishes. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and sampling some of their other offerings!!

Very enjoyable Sichuan food within Fresno. I enjoyed the buttercream prawns, which were crispy and slightly sweet, and the dumplings in the garlic chili oil sauce. Too bad there's a long wait; I could not get in on day one but made it on day 2. Portions are generous in terms of quality of shrimps and dumplings. I will be happy to return again

The best pan fried noodles. Fresh flavor-able dishes. No two dishes taste the same. The staff is wonderful and make you feel welcome. My friend travels now on Wednesdays so that he can go to Human's during his travels. Just love it.

We really enjoyed our visit. We managed to catch them between the lunch and dinner service, so there wasn't too much competition for the waitress' attention. The food was very fresh, and really well made. We had the walnut shrimp, sweet and sour pork, hot and sour soup, broccoli chicken, and potstickers. The service is family style, so we all got to try a bit of everything, and everybody seemed to enjoy all of the dishes. The restaurant is very clean, even the depths of the deep booths were obviously recently maintained. They're tucked back in a little bit of an odd corner, but it is absolutely worth the time to seek this place out!

Good vegetarian menu with fresh vegetables and well spiced food. Even though they made fresh tea. They did run out of coffee in the evening despite having access to a supermarket nearby. ?

Omg ! First time here and, I have to be honest, I wasn't sure I would like it. A friend treated me and swore I would love it since she knew I'm not a big fan of Chinese good. I can't wait to go back.

Went in for my first time here. Delicious food. Different flavors from your run of the mill chinese restaurant. Food is cooked well. Clean. Waitresses are polite and attentive. Food comes fast. Family style servings.

The food here is great and they are very detailed and make sure you get everything you ordered. The people are very nice and want to exceed your expectations in every way. The fried rice is so good and their orange chicken is the best in Fresno. This place is one of the best!

We went to dinner with another couple. Each of us ordered one item. We also had one order of pot stickers for all four of us. We had plenty to eat and we had enough left over for both couples to have a "take home" bag. I had Pork Pan Fried Noodles. The pan fried noodles were perfect and there was sufficient pork & vegetables to make it a substantial dish. My wife had Orange Chicken, which was quite tasty. Our friends had Mongolian Pork and Vegetable Fried Rice. We all shared. I liked everything except the "Fried" Rice. I saw & tasted *no evidence that it had been fried!* It was more like steamed rice with a few peas mixed in. However, the pan fried noodles were fried to perfection! Service was outstanding.

The Kung Pao Chicken Chinese style is the best tasting dish in Fresno. I also love their hot and sour soup. This is my Go-to Chinese restaurant in town.

I’ve been eating at Chinese restaurants in Fresno the past 35 years. For someone who grew up eating Chinese food, there are not too many Chinese restaurants in Fresno that I like. Hunan has now become my favorite. Besides the excellent food, I love that they have air purifiers at the entrance and dinning room. They sanitize every table and seating area between guests and have hand sanitizers at every table. I don’t mind paying extra for this extra service that protects them and their guests. They use technology for efficient ordering and easy pay from your phone at your table. I don’t remember if they sanitize their menus after a customer uses it, but if they do, this is a restaurant that cares about their customers, which I hope other restaurants will learn from.

This hidden gem has some of the best Chinese food around. I always order my food Chinese style which gives it extra flavor. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection. On lunch combos instead of rice or noodles I order steam vegetables to help keep my carbs down. I love that they have healthy choices that are good and flavorful!

While it was hard to find...it's located in a corner of one of the walkways of the area...the food was delicious!! What was different was the fried rice. We got the vegetable fried rice...so good with the orange chicken! I really liked the decor inside, too. It was more like a restaurant and not a fast food place. Warm, I guess I'm trying to say. Excellent service and friendly environment. I will be there again!

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Fresno. Owner is a chef from China who has earned some merits. Everything was great except the braised pork was still cold in center. Food is served traditional style. So no combination plates.

One of the top 3 Chinese restaurants in Fresno. Friendly service too. Hidden in a corner near R&N market.

We've lived in the Fresno/Clovis area for almost 15 years and finally discovered Hunan. Hands down the best Chinese food we've had in a long time. You'll never go home hingry.

Great small quiet location. Nice servers. Food was good but wasn't what I hoped for it to be. Came expecting really spicy numbing taste but it kinda came short. The spicy level is made for white people. Overall nice experience and food for something better than chinese fast food take out.
