I love this place. The wait staff, courteous, professional and genuinely concerned about the experience of their service. The Phoenician Garden Mediterranean offers good dishes, different Salads and authentic Lentil Soup. They have Lunch and Dinner sized portions. The lunch portion is perfect for returning back to work so that no person feels tired. Their house dressing... what is exactly in it. Whatever it is, it's delicious. I will give this place 5 Stars rating in my book because they were so kind and efficient with customer service and providing their support for Military and Veterans withba discount. Thank uou. I will certainly make a Northern visit when I am back in Fresno.

My husband and I are obsessed with this place! My husband said he was transported back to Italy when he ate the spicy chicken dish. The Lavash appetizer was delicious and I had the Greek moussaka which was amazing. The baklava to top off your meal is a must. This will be a regular spot for us in Fresno.

We were here for dinner. The soup and all the cold appetizers were great in flavor. The main dish that we take beef kebab and kefta looks great, but meat was tough. The owner offered to change but we were full already. He offered the tea and desert. Great service.

Lentil soup and Mousaka with rice pilaf. The layers of flavors are unlike any other Mediterranean food I have eaten in Fresno. Simply Outstanding. Super friendly staff as well. Clean establishment with excellent service. Reasonably priced. 👍👍👍👍👍

The best Mediterranean restaurant in town , their quality , attitude and taste hasn’t changed a bit but probably gone up ….. have been going to this place for over 6-7 years but have never been disappointed, Infact all the birthday dinners in the family are always celebrated in Phoenician … George is awesome, always paying attention to all the customers, Infact all their team is very friendly and always spot best attitude, which means the management really takes good care of their people….. food is fingers licking good and their falafels are the best in the town

The atmosphere is great, they play Lebanese songs 🕺 I wouldn't take sujuk The shawarma sandwich would taste much better if used with an authentic pita Overall, good place to stop by.

The Baklava dessert was better than the cheesecake since it’s sweeter and more flavor. The spicy chicken was a bit dry, not spicy, but the curry was good. The lamb shank has a hint of sweetness which I wasn’t to fond of. Vegetables were cooked well. Service was good. Place was clean.

This place has great food. We got the shrimp kebab, lamb shank and cabbage rolls with lentil soup. Everything was great but the lamb shank was outstanding. If I ever find myself in Fresno again, I’ll come here just for the lamb.

I was here for an early dinner and ordered the spicy chicken. The flavor was just right with a spicy kick, rice had a buttery flavor, and bell pepper was soft and juicy. The fried cauliflower is a good appetizer and is served with glazed onions and a side of pita bread. Our waiter was attentive and made sure to bring extra items we requested in a timely matter (spicy garlic sauce, lemon). I would come back again and try their dessert menu such as the lemon cake, cheesecake, or baklava.

I travel to Fresno often for work and someone recommend this place - I haven’t had service or Mediterranean food like this in a LONG time. Probably some of the best I’ve had stateside. 10/10!! Everyone working was so kind, happy, and attentive. The happy hour specials were great and although it was busy everything was quick. Looking forward to coming back next time I’m in town!

You just can't ever go wrong here. The spicy hummus with pita bread, tabouli salad, and falafel is the best out there. The Phoenician veggie pizza is fantastic with or without the sauce, and that's all just the appetizers. The spicy chicken plate is so good that I can't get enough of it. My daughter enjoyed her chicken sharwarma so much but was full off of the appetizers, that now she has leftovers. But she wasn't the only one with leftovers. Then, to end your meal with a piece of baklava, which is my absolute favorite. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, and all of the nuts just make it the best dessert yet. You have to be out of your mind to not enjoy the food!!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, unfortunately thier quantity and food quality has gone down in the last couple years. I ordered a beef kabob plate and got 6 small burned pieces of meat. Not worth $17. You can do better guys c'mon.

The food and service was excellent. Would give it a 10 if I could. The best Baba Ghannouj we've ever had. Couldn't take a picture because it disappeared quickly. Ordered additional take out to have some at home.

The Phoenician tonight was very good. Love the spicy chicken with a side of spicy hummus. My wife and friends wife both had the chicken Greek salad that were both awesome. And my good friend had the shish kebabs and according to him, were incredible. My spicy chicken was favorable but the chicken was a little dry and chewy. Didn't stop me from eating it, and would still highly recommend the dish. Loved our server tonight, she was awesome!!

very delicious. Staff was great, very polite, and helpful with the menu, i got 2 different plates, the beef kabob and spicy chicken. The beef was seasoned perfectly, rice good, but the vegetables were really wonderful large and they were not overcooked like some places. So the whole plate was good, and the side of humus was excellent. The second plate was not mine but was told it was delicious.

Found myself alone for dinner in Fresno, so stopped again. Had the gyro wrap and it comes with pilaf. Still outstanding.. Ordered kneffeh. Made with ricotta and mozzarella on a shredded phyllo dough and soaked in rosewater syrup. Said served with pistachios, but mine had walnuts on it. Didn't matter. Still amazing tasty, warm and very satisfying. Have never had much Mediterranean foods, but this place is so good in my limited knowledge of the cuisine. Got the beef/lamb gyro and a small salad. Amazing. Was in Fresno for a doc appointment that was way longer than expected and since I was alone,. I could pick any cuisine I wanted. Oh dear lord this was so fresh and just amazing. Will be back

This is our go to place for Mediterranean food. Everything we've tried on the menu has been excellent. The baklava is the best I can find in Fresno at the moment. The spicy chicken is very spicy and not creamy and very good.

This is my new favorite restaurant! Its very nice and great service. The food is excellent and the price is good. We got spicy hummus for an appetizer. My Girlfriend got the Vegetarian plate with a side bowl of lentil soup. I got the combo kabob and a side Greek salad and everything was perfect.

"Authentic Mediterranean Food at It's Finest" It was a nice experience my first time there very casual dining family owned restaurant our server Olivia was really attentive but I would like to give a shout out to John he was not our server but he was there tending to our every need the food was exquisite exactly what I had been craving. I had an excellent chicken kabob plate. This is now my new go to place for Mediterranean food. Like I mentioned earlier the service and the staff were tremendous I will definitely be back and yes I definitely highly recommend this fine dining establishment

The food was so good! and the customer service was amazing but the wait on the food was pretty long. overall amazing place

Had a large party of 8-10 who were very loud and then with the music it was hard to heard what my dinner companions were saying. Once they left and music turned down it was better. Server took drink and starter order and it came out quickly but he spent a long time visiting with another table of diners before he finally came back to get our meal order. One ordered salmon which she said was good and the other order a beef kabob which she liked. I ordered the mousaka and there lies part of the reason for the low rating. The dish was lacking seasoning, couldn’t taste cinnamon, oregano or salt. But this dish’s biggest down fall was the lack of béchamel sauce. This sauce makes the dish in my opinion, so very disappointing. I also asked for meat sauce on top as that is how my Greek friends eat it, and there was none. The other 2 in party got their food quickly but I sat and sat until I could finally get someone’s attention. They were almost finished with their mesl
