Very very disappointing. I don’t know how they managed to get 4 1/2 stars on Google, those reviews are either fake or something happened to the management of the place a while ago. Place is filthy, personnel is absolutely unfriendly, food is unacceptable. Especially after COVID you expect that restaurant owners would start paying attention to the business and the way the are running it, we’ll obviously this is not a case. Came in with my kids for a lunch, I really hope that nothing is going to happen to us after this lunch. No dish was good, all dishes were over cooked, dry and not eatable…never seen Armenian kebab prepared on the flat range in chunks, not on a skewers ;( It is shame it is called “Armenian”, we - Armenians know how to cook…

GREAT lunch at House of Kabob! The food was delicious and the garlic hummus was OUTSTANDING! We came with a larger party and our waiter Richard was AWESOME and took care of our every need! Richard catered to us like we were the only ones there! Thanks Richard! And thank you House of Kabob for giving Bre' a GREAT Birthday! 5 Stars!!

I liked this place! The food was flavorful and fresh. The server ordered our food to be adjusted for our family's keto lifestyle and she made great recommendations. The tender beef and lamb combination bowls were very satisfying. The hot salad substitution for the rice pilaf worked great.

House of Kabob is located in Fresno California. This amazing restaurant will remain one of my favorite locations. The location is nice, the layout is calming and the food is awesome. My family had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at House of Kabob and everyone had a great time. The Staff is very professional and did not object to me taking pictures for this review. The food deserves another mention for its awesomeness and the wine selection sealed the deal.

This place is amazing! They are small, and easy to miss, but totally worth the stop in for lunch or dinner. If you like Armenian food this is a great place. I enjoyed the beef bowl today. It has marinated beef, rice pilaf, and zucchini. At dinner its served with hummus and chips which are fantastic on their own. Wonderful table service, their waitress is very knowledgeable and well timed. All in all this a great place for eating, ill definitely be going back. Update: My wife and I went to night and I greatly enjoyed the garlic chicken. It was tender juicy, and very well spiced. The heavy garlic sauce completed the taste to perfection. Very well done!

Usually good but today the service was REALLY BAD. So bad that we up and left. .Drink was late and waited for so long that 2 tables that were seated and ordered after us were served before us. We paid for our drinks and just left without getting served our food. VERY DISAPPOINTED

My family and I were on vacations and we found this amazing restaurant I just can say! The best Mediterranean food I have ever tried before, very tasty and incredible flavors and of course awesome portions, we had family meal with lamb and comes with a huge portion of rice , salad, bread, garlic sauce, pasta a other stuffs, the coffee was super good! The servers very nice and friendly! I highly recommend this place definitely we'll be back soon!! Thank you

House of Kebab is always such a great experience. They have the best rice bowls with beef. I could eat their garlic sauce on anything. Service is always fast and the restaurant is super clean.

Usually this place is top notch. Lately, prices are higher and service lacking. We went there for lunch and the dining room was busy the two servers were getting plates out quickly to diners. We seated ourselves but no one came to our table for at least 15 minutes. I was on a limited lunch period and no server came still, so I went to the counter to place our order. They know me as I come fairly regularly. The food finally came and we had to eat quickly. The Fatoush salad is always the best around and did not disappoint. The Tabouli had a weird flavor and did not seem as fresh as usual. Instead of a vibrant deep green color, it was a brown green color. I couldn't eat it. I got a combo salad, no noodles, more fatoush. The other dish was fine. I paid the bill AT THE COUNTER quickly and left to get back to work. Later I looked at my bill because I was wondering why 2 lunch dishes were totaled over $31.00 with no beverages, $36 with tip. Then I noticed there was an extra "service charge" on the bill. This must be new as I've not noticed it before. I looked at my take-out receipt from last week and the extra fee was there. There was no explanation from the restaurant or notification. I usually LOVE this place but now with higher prices and sneaky charges, I am going to have to not come here as often as I had or not at all.

I have to say that the food is beyond fantastic. I had the Shish (lamb) bowl and it was probably the best lamb I have ever had. It was tender and juicy mixed with sautéed zucchini placed on top of rice pilaf. My wife had the Chicken Tahini which is chicken and vegetables sauteed with white wine, garlic and a special sesame sauce. The chicken was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and tender as well. It all came with fried pita chips and a bowl of hummus. The amount of food is tremendous. I ate what I could at the restaurant and brought the majority of it home for two more meals. As for the service, there are three young ladies that are on top of everything. All of them were at our table multiple ties ensuring we had a great customer experience, and we did.

Was eating with my family and found hair in my food. I notified the server who was super nice but apparently the owner refused to allow the chefs to make us another dish. never coming back again.

Awesome experience specially because we like Kabobs. We ordered their pound and a half family meal which is supposed to feed 4 to 5 adults, but I think it can feed 7. We took food home and it lasted us 2 days. They really want you to be satisfied and enjoy their delicious Mediterranean food, the people are so friendly. This restaurant is definitely HUGO Approved :)

Food was very good & chicken was very juicy and tasty. A bonus is you get Bobby Salazar's salsa in your hummus & pita chips!

I’m not sure what to say.. this place is AMAZING!! Went here while visiting town and took a friends recommendation. Not only is the food delicious but the portion size is HUGE! You will not be disappointed I give this place 5⭐️ Jerry (the pigeon) gives it 5⭐️

House of Kebab is really very tasty! Had dinner there tonight and the Lulu lavash special was to die for, good! The meal is made with fresh ingredients, authentic, and extremely satisfying. So much food that we will be eating leftovers tomorrow. Comes with a homemade hummus appetizer with homemade pita chips. Salad is a meal in itself. Lavash was fresh, meat tender. Pilaf serving was huge and delicious. Our server, Lisa, was very accommodating, offering refills on our drinks. Been coming here for many years and I highly recommend.

My friend took me here, I was a bit reluctant at first but the food was good, server was attentive and the booth was clean. It’s not a very lively atmosphere but the quality of the meat and veggies is quality. I’d you’re in the area, this place and Helen’s Gourmet Chinese next door are my spots. Sal’s Mexican in the corner is just tired and constantly crowded. I’d give it a shot its worth a trip in!

Hose of kebab is always a hot The salad is fresh and tasty and the service is good. In my opinion the best garlic sauce in town. Try the chicken bowl with fatoush instead of rice you will not be disappointed and more than that you will be full half way through And have left overs for later. Enjoy!!

This was my first time here, the food was amazing and so was the service. The portions where massive. I would definitely say to give this place a try. The Chicken Tahini was to die for!

HIDDEN GEM! My partner and I came in for an early dinner on a whim, and the entire experience was excellent. We were shocked at the quick service and the attentiveness of the staff. But the FOOD is so good! The garlic sauce is to die for, a must for any meal. We split the family dinner serving 2-3 and will have leftovers for days. Worth every cent.

The food here was phenomenal, the service was great as well. The menu is a little pricey. However, it's worth it. I have recommended this place to friends and colleagues.

Had the pleasure of eating there for the first time yesterday. Looking at the menu I thought the prices were a bit high. After being served that thought was gone from my mind. Ton of food ! Brought home leftovers to my husband. He had a plate last night and finished the rest for lunch today. 😋 the hummus WAS THE BEST! I can't wait to go back. The service was excellent too.

The food was delicious. They serve big portions of food. I’d definitely come back. I ordered the Pepper Beef, and it was cooked to perfection. The garlic sauce had a great flavor too. All around 5 stars, including the service.

I've eaten here before, the food is always really good but the best thing about this place is the service. Went there tonight and I was just so overwhelmed with the friendly service from the servers especially one of them, I wish I would have gotten her name. She was just so friendly and welcoming plus just downright adorable. Great place to go. To me the customer service is always just as important as the food.
