My
wife
and
I
are
recently
visited
this
restaurant
as
we
were
on
our
business
trip.
I
saw
that
this
restaurant
had
some
good
reviews.
As
we
like
sushi
and
ramen,
and
have
been
to
some
great
sushi
and
ramen
shops,
as
well
as
some
bad
ones.
We
thought
we
would
give
Toshiko
a
shot.
When
we
entered
the
restaurant,
we
were
greeted
by
the
server
and
was
told
to
sit
where
we
liked.
After
we
seated,
the
server
came
over
and
asked
if
we
wanted
any
drinks
and
appetizers.
My
wife
politely
asked
"we
haven't
gotten
the
menu
yet?"
That's
when
the
server
said
that
the
menu
is
online
and
pointed
at
a
QR
code.
However,
she
could
provide
us
with
physical
copies.
Personally,
I
dislike
online
menu
systems
when
it
requires
the
customers
to
use
their
own
devices.
Add
it
to
the
fact
that
sushi
and
ramen
shops
are
usually
family
owned
and
provide
more
customer
orientated
experiences,
it
was
shocked
at
this
disconnection.
It
was
a
hot
day
at
108°
in
Fresno
and
we
came
in
sweating,
so
we
decided
to
start
off
with
glasses
of
ice
water
and
a
plate
of
sushi.
Ramen
was
ordered
for
the
main
course.
While
we
were
waiting
and
cooling
off
with
the
water,
both
the
wife
and
I
started
realizing
how
ridiculously
warm
and
humid
the
dining
area
was.
I
began
sweating
again
after
finishing
my
water.
I
would
say
the
A/C
was
probably
programmed
to
turn
on
after
it
reached
80°
and
wasn't
setup
to
take
into
account
humidity.
That
to
me
is
poor
management
as
there
was
no
reason
to
have
an
A/C
programmed
so
high
when
the
dining
room
area
and
kitchen
are
sharing
the
same
space
without
any
fans
to
circulate
the
air.
When
we
got
the
sushi,
we
were
impressed
at
the
presentation.
Though
we
were
disappointed
at
how
little
Mayonaizu
and
eel
sauce
was
used.
Usually,
sushi
restaurants
will
have
the
sauces
drizzled
on
the
sushi
and
on
the
plate
so
the
customer
can
add
more
to
the
sushi
if
they
want.
Here,
it
was
only
lightly
drizzled
on
the
sushi
and
nothing
on
the
plate.
With
that
being
said
though,
the
sushi
was
good
and
tasty.
After
we
finished
the
sushi,
we
received
our
Raman
orders.
I
ordered
the
Tonkatsu
ramen
which
the
soup
base
was
good
but
the
ramen
was
overcooked.
My
wife's
ramen
soup
base
came
out
too
salty
for
her
taste
and
her
noodles
were
overcooked
as
well.
Overall
though,
the
place
would
not
be
a
bad
place
to
eat
if
they
didn't
do
so
much
cost
cutting.
I
would
recommend
this
place
for
it's
sushi
and
tell
people
to
avoid
their
ramen.
There
is
no
reason
for
ramen
to
be
overcooked.
Or
maybe
they
are
not
making
their
own
ramen
from
scratch,
which
in
that
case
I
would
begin
questioning
the
price.
