This park is very meaningful to our family 👪. When my wife and I had our firstborn, we would take him on strolls in the playgrounds. My brother would take his girls every now and them. In the last days of my father's life, he found the park a peaceful place to walk and feed the ducks. We have reached out to parks and recreation to see if we could donate funds to sponsor a bench in our father's honor, but due to covid, they weren't allowing any donations. Soon, we hope to honor our father here at this park. He was our Oso de Oro.

Beautiful and clean park. They have a small parking but there is street parking right along the park. They have two playground areas for small and bigger kids. They have a shaded swing are with swings for babies, bigger kids and the once that look a chair! They also have an area with a maze and spots to explore. you will find ducks running around. The lake looks beautiful and it’s picture perfect. Lots of kids running around and people walking along the paths. Oh there is a basket ball court as well.

Really nice park here in Fresno. Lots of Wide open green space, basketball goal, playground equipment, walking trail around a pond, and two picnic areas. Peaceful, quiet, and a great place to gather for a family reunion or BBQ.

Another great place to visit if you’re just here in town visiting. The kid and I were in Fresno for a day before flying out. Visited here to kill time. The park is in a nice neighborhood, it’s clean and quiet. It has a basketball court, enclosed pond, toddler and big kid playground, grassy area to run around and plentiful of parking. The patrons that visit/frequent here are friendly as well. The playground got busy around noon, family were having picnics and such, probably because it was their spring break.

Park is very well kept. There is a path that you can walk and look over the pond where the turtles and ducks hang out. Will definitely go back

Beautiful park with lots of options. Located in a quieter residential area. Lots of parking, mostly street. Plenty of open lawn, basketball courts, large playground area, a reservoir that attracts lots of birds and turtles, bathrooms, a snack shack of sorts, and covered table area that can be used you for parties. They clean early every morning including leaf blowers for the cement path that circles through the park. The birds have been fed a ton and have no fear. Several walked right up to me. I don't feed birds ever and wasn't carrying anything so it was clear they had essentially become domesticated. Their size and the number of them can make that intimidating. I don't take off any stars for that because it's the fault of the visitors. The city has a done great job up keeping this park.

Nice large park with a large grass section for dogs and people. Top section with plenty of playground things for children. Big shaded BBQ section for hot Days. A park that I think everyone would like. Enjoy. Down by the lake, their are two lookout points over the water that schools of small fish, turtles and ducks will come up to you probably looking for food but very exciting. Also alot of different things to see. Just walk around and be surprised.

This was my very first visit to the park and I was amazed! The park is very clean and well taken care of. It was great to see many families and their little ones out enjoying life. This is definitely a great place to bring the kiddos and have a picnic.

Have my kids' birthday parties here pretty regularly. Can get a little crowded, but there is plenty of room throughout the park to make up for it.

A lovely park to take young kids. We brought our 14 month old and he had a lot of fun walking around and checking everything out. We came here after other reviews said it was one of the best parks in town. It has a cool basketball court, an educational path that lists the California state bird, mammal, etc. It would also be a great spot for a picnic. Cheers!

This park has it all! From bbq areas to a basketball court! If you don't get a chance to reserve a spot just bring a canopy and tables, there's a nice grassy area you can set up a picnic. Oso de Oro has lots of activities for kids. There is also a nice little lake with ducks!! This park is very clean. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, large, ADA-friendly park with a splash area in the summer time. Plenty of street and ADA parking. Several play areas for kids 2+. Play equipment is fine, but could use a refresh. Not a lot of shade around the play areas, so make sure to bring sunscreen.

Pretty fun for our 18 month old grandson. Only bummer is that the equipment was too hot to play on at 10 am. and that some older unsupervised children were rudely splashing and jumping off the rocks at the little water play area that they almost kicked and landed on top of him! That's not the park's fault, but be warned that you may not get to play like you anticipated.

A rare space created with accessibility in mind- abundant handicap parking and ease of mobility built in. Always clean and in fairly good repair. Lots of play areas for a variety of kids (age groups) and shared activities. Meeting areas can be reserved for gatherings and events on the website. I wish visitors would be a bit more considerate with regard to picking up after themselves. The beautiful walking path and lawn leads downhill to a pond. The trash that goes downhill spoils the habitat for the ducks and geese that nest there.

Great park overall. We really enjoyed the toddler play equipment as well as the water fowl. The best thing was the fenced grassy field where my daughter could run (I didnt need to worry about her escaping). The only downside was that some of the play equipment seemed dangerous and wasnt at all suited for a young child. Also parking is limited, so you might struggle to find a spot at busy times.

The park had great green space for walking and taking a light stroll. Also worked out great as I had four legged friends tagging along and they enjoyed it as well. Park was located near the Fig Garden area of town.

Loved the playground and the duck pond. There are two play structures that cater to small and large children. There is also special accommodation swings and a sand box. Beautiful little waterfall that separate the big and little play structure. My only issue is the duck feces that are around the little kids play area.

Pretty small but convenient park. Good place to let kids run and explore. Except for bird droppings everywhere. Parking is tight, overflow on the street but there are plenty of handicapped parking. Do not take bikes, skates, anything with wheels. That are prohibited. Lots of other restrictions but need to visit the park to enjoy this little peaceful park.

I usually do have fun here at the swings near the playground area. And I play with my friends' kids; they make me run like an athletic runner 😂, and I just laugh until I'm out of breath. Usually, it's a clean park, and well, the field yard is great for kicking around ⚽️ and other sports. And it's nice seeing the geese and 🦆ducks and turtles🐢. We'll have picnic a few times at the Oso de Oro Park is Spanish but "Oso de oro" translates to "Golden Bear" in English.

My 4 year old son really enjoyed this park. Lots of other kids who were very friendly and played nicely. There were different playgrounds and a little water area that was a lot of fun. Nice path to walk on and he loved seeing the turltles and ducks. Cleaner than any other park I have visited.

Super cute and clean park, I love that there is a play area for smaller kids as well as a bigger play area. I like that there is a lot of greenery and hills for the kids to run and get tired. The big kids enjoy the basketball hoops and my parents like sitting under the shade watching the birds, ducks and geese. I live this park and do our part also by picking up after our selves.

Very clean lots of space .. Different play areas great place to let the kids run lose... Lots of grass area nice pond with ducks in it but lately has been off limits I'm guessing it's bc of the rain and the fact that the grass is super soggy... Who knows... But this park on weekend gets pretty crowded... In a good location nice neighborhood

Our family loves this park. Now that Covid restrictions are over it is open all week. The main park is good for 5 to 12 years old. The green is closed during certain seasons, but the playground is open.

We love this park. You can watch the geese, and, turtles. There's swings, play structure, and a little section during the summer where the boat sits water comes through a little section and, I call it a little feet splashing fun for the little kids bbq eating area and, it's covered. Basketball courts, and a jogging or walking little track. A little soccer game if you wsnted. We Love This Park.

Great place for kids to play with a variety of play equipment. As an adult, of course I only did the maze, but my favourite area was the large pond: terrapins, blue herons, egrets, ducks and geese dominated the enclosed haven! Just please don't let your children chase and try to kick the geese with their babies as one couple did.

This is such a cute park tucked away in a family suburban area. There are covered spots to have parties and a small splash area to stay cool, however only the swings have shade covering. The main playgrounds would be perfect if they also had something to cover them, otherwise the equipment is way too hot to play on The staff (maybe a guard?) was really nice about letting us know we sat in a spot that was reserved for a party an hour or so later, I thought it was cool he was that attentive and kind. We are definitely considering this spot for our kiddos birthday in the future!

Great time there with the grandkids. Belongs to the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control Distric and the have thought of the disabled with plenty of parking and tables to accommodate chairs. With two play areas, under five and the other for over five. Quite busy at week day lunch so I don't want to say much so it stay quiet for my lunch time. No bike riding or skate boards allowed do to the fast action of them and certain disabled persons reaction time. That I like for a quiet lunch.

Very nice clean park, lots of things to keep the kids busy playing, or swinging ,or sliding on the child friendly jungle gym. Or plenty of grass and trails if they enjoy just running around being kids.

Took my granddaughter here for the first time ever, she had a great time swinging on the swing and looking at the ducks.

Nice park, a bit crowded, maybe wrong day to go. Kids enjoyed it for about 30 min, restrooms available, take bird food if you want to feed ducks and geese.
