I think blackboard's is very underrated. It's a fun place to take younger kids to this entertainment park. Yes it may be a little outdated. But I'm sure if more people would come more often. Then maybe the owners would invest more money into it. Attest that's what I would wish would happen. For myself It brings back nostalgic memories. I remember a time not so long ago. coming with my partners to have fun and enjoy the time I had with them. Unfortunately I don't have my parents with me anymore, But Attest I am able to make these memories with my own Lil family.

Absolutely outstanding place for you to take your kids , it has a lot of arcades , mini golf , go kart is incredible, and many more. I would suggest to buy the wristband for the outside attraction on the days listed on one of the photos I took, the front customer service was superb , her name was Toushia Edelbrock . She explained everything you need to know about their place in one beneficial minute . Highly recommend this place

Date night with bae! Super fun! Our golf balls got stuck twice which sucked but other than that highly recommend. We got there about 7 pm and the courses were already full. By the time we ended, about 8:30/9:00pm, the courses seemed more full. Plan accordingly! Highly recommend this spot for a date night 🥰

Went there for a little family fun and had a great time miniature golfing. It was a little busier than I expected but it was fine. The staff did great keeping the arcade clean and sanitized.

Been going here since I was a kid. For about 30 years. Place is a bit outdated, and overpriced. To do one session of race cars it’s $11 dollars a race. Food is not up to par. Ordered chicken and fries basket. Waited “15-20” minuets, was very disappointed. A lot of the rides were broken or inoperable. Staff is very friendly though.

So we had never been here before. Found it on a Google search. The price deal in the photo is not listed online. We arrived at 6pm on a Monday. Glad to see this deal rather than the per ride prices. We were told we had to wait a minute for the cashier to go get more wristbands. So 15min later we got checked in. We were told the bands were only good for 2 hrs but expired at 8pm no matter when you actually get the band. So that sucks. No one told us that laser tag was closed or that the kid rideland was also closed. Apparently kiddy land is only open on Saturday. This is not posted anywhere. Also all of the attractions have a button at them to push for attending. This was different then other similar places we have been. This meant a wait time for an attending to come. Although the lines were short the waiting for staff wasn't. We will not be going back.

My family went for the first time and had a blast. Going in the evening was alot of fun, the ducks roaming around was cool but it's a bit costly to go here. The only bad thing was the group of 6 teenagers behind us kept walking all over where we were putting and we're super rude.

This is a great family fun center with lots of rides and entertainment. The mini golf course is great too! The best part of Blackbeards is the staff. They all went out of their way to help and answer all of my questions. Fresno is lucky to have this place!

so i might be biased, but this place is super cool. went there for a school field trip and it was awesome. they just let us go around and play whatever we wanted. and all the rides were pre-paid for so we could just walk on up some bumper cars for free, which is always extra points for me. also they had ddr so thats more extra points. keep it up blackbeards this place is nice.

Went there on a Saturday. Bought the wristband special so I was there from 1 to 4. I started with the mini golf, which was a bit challenging at the end but it was really fun. After that I went to the arcade room, and the games were obviously rigged. Went to their mini food court and I bought the mini doughnuts. It only came with 4 or 5 doughnuts and it was $5.00! It’s a scam. Most of the employees were just on their phones, and didn’t care when there were 10 people in line! Slow service. Go karts were fun but they should be faster. Overall below average. Debating whether I should come back or not.

First time here and honestly this place needs extreme updates, the bathrooms where dirty and the arcade area was also dirty and sticky, the other rides where okay but the price you pay should be a whole day thing for over 30 bucks. The rides also look out dated and run down. The food also wasn't great and burnt. There where safety issues some nets where down and near a pond and it take a second for a toddler to wonder off and fall into the pond.

Good old fashion fun! Great for family day with the kids or to go for simple dates. I'd recommend this place for kids ages 4-16. They have older arcade games, claw machines and simple carnival-like rides for kids. Batting cages are always fun! They also have go kart racing and miniature golf

I'm REALLY disappointed to see all these negative reviews. Is it Disneyland? Of course not. But life is what you make it! Tonight was my second time at Blackbeard's. My boyfriend and his friends have an on-going mini golf trophy they play for at various places, and we had such a great time. Prices were super fair, we went around 9pm on a Saturday after a bomb dinner at Takumi in Fresno. It wasn't packed, we played the pirate course with about 10 people and still had time for a round of Go-Karts after. I do wish the karts were a tad bit faster, but still fun to race your friends. I see lots of complaints about the food at Blackbeard's and I'm not sure what these Karen's are expecting out of a $10 chicken and fries basket. The rides and grounds could definitely use some updating and I think a minor revamp would bring so many people back to this place. I really hope the owners invest in it and keep it going, because I'd definitely like to keep coming back. It was kinda wild that no one was at the entrance gates to make sure we weren't complete hethens, but none of the staff we encountered were rude by any means and none of the patrons were out of hand. I also saw complaints in the reviews about the smoking areas, I personally, loved that. I don't smoke cigarettes, but we didn't have to wait for our smoker of the group to go outside and smoke and hold up our game which was awesome. My first time here, the Fahrney's rented the whole place out for an employee appreciation day and we had an absolute blast then too. I'd love to see the water slides open and new bumper boats with cleaner water next summer, but still a great time with friends, family, and coworkers. We'll be returning again I'm sure, I'd take this place over Adventure Park any day! We came from Visalia and Woodlake to visit, well worth the drive for a hangout night.

Excellent for date night. My baby and I had lots of fun competing and playing mini-golf. We also tried out an obstacle course. I recommend using gripped shoes to get through the whole course.

Our family loves this place. We do at least 1 birthday party here a year sometimes 2. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for the rides, games, golf, race cars, BBQ area. Batting cages. So much fun.

Too much fun on Mother's Day!! The gang gathered for miniature golf and lunch. Golf 15$ each for 18 holes of pure smack talking. Then we ordered a pizza for 22$. While waiting for our pizza, we purchased a few Blackbeard fun cards for 20$ each to test out the arcade games. Before we left we hit the photo booth. For 5$ you received 8 small photos that will give you memories for a life time. We all had so much fun, I think we are going to do it again next year. Hey, here's a thought...why wait.. This place has all the games from my childhood and they have some great pinball games too. My son loved the kiddie rides and the price was great. The staff was also very friendly. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area

A long time ago, I nearly fell out of the pirate ship because my restraint didn't fully engage. When we went upside down I was hanging on for dear life. Ride operator didn't notice, or maybe just didn't care so I had to endure the full duration which thankfully was only a couple minutes. 10/10 one of the only fun places in Fresno.

I had family in town, we were looking for something fun to do with the kids. We had a great time. We showed up about an hour before closing so, we had to stay focused on our golf game. It was sprinkling on and off but that only added to the fun. Great memories were made.

By far one of the most under rated places for kids and teenagers to play and hang out all day! But let's be honest here... some of the games are broken and some can be out dated but there is plenty of new and updated games there too. I guess it's the nostalgic of the older games like pinball machines or old school fighting arcade games! They have just about everything UNFORTUNATELY as well they closed the waters slides this year BUT they have an out door speedway! And miniature golf! And tons of games to play! An amazing place to bring kids and your teenagers to come play for the day! For sure me and my family will be coming back time after time!

Its a good place for family time. Just call ahead to see whats not working or running. My daughter at 10 years old had lots of fun. Food is a bit expensive for what you get. Golfing was fun. Games are fun. You can save your points on a card, thats cool.

It is old and little ran down but still a fun place to take kids. It just needs a little TCL. Don't let this stop you from going to have a good time.

I remember this place as a kid and it was fun but looking at it from adult eyes, it's run down. Rides are old and damaged. Paint is missing and there are still ashtrays around, mostly used for trash. There was only a handful of attendants and you had to wait for someone to come open rides. Mini golf is still probably the best part of this old park. You pay per game, and they average $15 per person per game or activity.

Blackbeard's is my favorite family fun center of all time. I've been to arcades and family fun centers all over the state, this one is the best. Their arcade game selection is top notch. There are classic games as well as newer ones. I miss being able to run around with a cup full of tokens, but times change. The new token cards make it easy to keep track of your tokens and tickets. I hope they stay around for years to come!

Had a blast with my husband... such a great atmosphere and so much to do... we will definitely be back..

One year ago my son was fighting cancer and was spending weeks in the hospital at a time and he missed his whole freshman year of high school. So Blackbeard’s is part of the IAPPA program and we are so blessed to be able to be apart of this program that partners with certain theme parks around the world for children like ours to just be able to enjoy everything no charge/or a reduced fee. This program is just amazing and it really makes the kids feel so special and they are able to enjoy a great day. Blackbeard’s is part of this program!! The park was pretty empty so the kids felt even more special because there was no waiting. We loved the mini golf I definitely recommend that and go-carts. The arcade was amazing and we won a lot of tickets. The kids loved the slushees and snacks. I wish the water park area could of been open it looks like it would of been a blast! But because of the Covid-19 restrictions it wasn’t able to. It reminds me of just a fun family place it’s great for little kids and even the older ones. It was a little bit of a drive for us but we will definitely be going back in the future. Also the staff was all great and just overall very nice. There were 3 gentlemen working the go-karts later at night and they were just very respectful. You could tell they knew what they were talking about explained the rules and they just stood out! Thank you Blackbeard’s for giving our family a great day!

Went mini golfing, had a great time. My only issue was we got a drink that we thought has free refills and weren't told about it. We had asked what type of Iced Teas they had they told us Unsweetened and Raspberry. So we got Raspberry and when we went for a refill they said it wasn't covered but I explained what happened and we got a refill. The board should specify which beverages get free refills.

I wish I can say more about this establishment, but it's really going down hill. The place needs a make over, although the staff was nice, the food was not so great I could of made a better burger at home the fries were warmed and reheated too many times. Too much money spent not enough accomadations met...

This place is so much fun. I’ve been going here ever since I was very little. I used to go to the batting cage here a long time ago. And play mini golf almost every time I visit this place. It is sad to see this place go down hill. It is not as popular as it used to be but they’re still chuggin along. I hope it doesn’t have the same fate that Boomers had earlier. Keep this place alive!

Last time i went golfing was great but it got to cold so we went in to play some games. Almost every competitive game had one game down so my boyfriend and I couldn't compete against each other.

Great place for family fun! For 20 bucks you get about 100 coins. 80 coins plus a 20 coin bonus. It's mostly 2 coin games. However I didnt get to see the prices of their mini golf. I do recommend a day trip or a few hours!

Great family place for birthday parties! All the children and adults had a marvelous time! My niece rented the room at cap n kids for her son's birthday. Pizza drinks and cake. Yum! Then off to the rides.

Finally a place to take your kid. Safe, and free of dumbdumbs! For years blackbeards has been a staple in family entertainment. Went miniature golfing with my youngest son. Unfortunately, the cost for this was 26 dollars, ouch. I remember a time when my mother sent me to blackbeards at about 12 years old with ten bucks. I rolled the slicktrack, the waterslides, the arcade, and the minigolf. Then, still had 1.50 fir some nachos or a soda. Maybe im gettin old.

Great place, some decent values... customer service was like a 1 Star rating though. Literally was the only one at the window and the workers were more worried about gossip than my food or drinks.

Great, fun, cheap arcade. Love how it is still old fashioned looking, not all updated and techy. Go karting is $12 per person, but you get in a lot of laps. Food is alright, but youre not there for eating, youre there for fun. Entrance is free. You can never go wrong with mini golf.
