the park unfortunately doesn't look like the pictures anymore but prices stay high, pay extra for parking, and pools stay looking dirty, for a park that is not open all year and has plenty of down time to make repairs and upkeep to the waterpark to justify the prices it just don't justify the price you pay, but oh well, you can't even BBQ in this place i just hope they can revamp this place, it was great the first couple of years when it was new and i thought it was only gonna get better but it's not hope they can change that. because for what you pay to go there is just not worth the money anymore. hope park gets better again.

It’s so hot now!! So get out to Island Waterpark for a day in the sun with the whole family. If you’re local, it’s best to get the season pass because you definitely get your moneys worth just by going 2-3 times during the summer. Otherwise it’s 39.99 regular admission. Senior discount is available and children under 2 are granted free admission. Season pass allows 1 buddy pass per card so bring a friend (except holidays, i.e. 4th of July). You may bring your own food/snacks/coolers/beverages (no alcohol) but there is a bar there for some adult fun. My $14 Big Wave Kona beer (24oz) needed to be colder though because it got warm really soon. Step up the bar service Island Waterpark! Restrooms/showers, locker rentals, floaties rentals. convenience store for that item you forgot are all located inside. Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen!

The Island has changed:( More expensive with less amenities. A serious divide has taken place among the have and the have-nots😳 Extremely expensive for minimum experience! The slides are good and the life guards are serious but I was very disappointed that lounge chairs were not available to our family as before😟With a full day of fun in the hot sun, my only option was to rent a cabana for another $80-$150!!! WHAT!!😡 Otherwise only plastic bench or hot cement. My family set up at the lazy river where there are trees. The nearby cabanas were empty all day. Apparently no one rents them. Yet the lounge chairs had to remain empty. I understand the principle that if someone rents a cabana they should have enough lounges for their family. Yet The Island should take a look at their demographic and find another way to be profitable. So much money and no comfortable seat? Unacceptable!! I won’t go back. I don’t have the budget for a park that seems to only want to profit from the families who keep it in business. I have been going since 2000. After Covid we stopped. First time back and so very disappointed🫢Won’t be surprised if they go out of business!!! No Respect! -$50 (including tax) per person -$5 day parking -$10/$12 Tube rental We are a family of 5 = $357 *Brought our own food and drinks! Phew!

Uodate added at bottom **;Annoyed they don't allow food-- everyone was annoyed about it! Hard for my autistic son to wait 40 minutes in line for food and another 30 minutes for. A slice of pizza. But had fun with my son from.12:30-3:30. Ended up getting nachos.. which were stale and everyone complaining about not being allowed food during memorial day weekend where everyone thoigh they were planning to BBQ. Update 8.49pm 3 hours later they updated their policy to allowing outside food just no glass or alcohol. Yaaaaaay!! #advocte

Haven't been in years but we had a wonderful time. So much fun. Be sure to ask when you enter the park what time they close. The website showed 6pm but they stayed open until 8. No alcohol is allowed so don't t try to sneak it in they'll catch you.

We had a great experience! We've been there in the past and felt it was a little lacking in cleanliness but this visit was different I was constantly seeing staff cleaning up, the water throughout all looked good even saw saples being taken. What I really liked was that the wave pool has a new rule of no tubes in it! It's always made me nervous but I feel more comfortable now knowing my kids will be in there and not having to battle against multiple tubes bumping into them. While we were there I also witnessed the safety team working with lifeguards around the wave pool and even got to watch them in action when he dropped a fake baby into the deep in of the wave pool! There were six lifeguards around the wave pool and at least one in the water. I think they're taking a lot of precautions and as a mom that gives me a little more peace of mind.

I went here with my little one and we had so much fun. The staff is so nice nice as the attractions are pretty clean considered it's an outdoor family oriented oriented entertainment. They also keep the water very clean. Everything is overpriced but that is to be expected. So yeah, it's expensive, but it'll buy a lot of amazing memories and fun with the family

I had taken the grandkids to one last fun thing to do before school started and what better place than a waterpark. We all had a great time and day but grandma was beat from the heat...🔥

This is the best fun place for us. Each year we were going far away places to spend our hot days but now my kids are here every other day. I bought 10 season tickets this year and will buy every year from now on inshallah.

I & my adult grandson had a blast.!! We went during the week, and it was not packed, which was great. The strawberry funnel cake was off the hook & yummy! The wave pool was where we spent most of our time... I didn't rent a cabana cause it was just us 2. However, upon entering the park, I was informed of tables with shade that we could utilize for no charge. It all worked out perfectly! Thank you, Island Waterpark, for the fun we were able to have😊

It's Friday. Not busy at all. Wait on slides are short and the water is refreshing! Waive pool is closed until further notice. Get yourself one of those nice cabanas by the pool, get a drink, have some fun while kids are running around...

I visited the Island Waterpark for the first time in probably 20 years 🙃. I forgot how fun some of the slides are. We rented a cabana in the kid swim area as we were celebrating a children's birthday. The kid area is really cool,.I don't remember it having so many cool water slides for the little ones. I like how this park is mapped out, there were groups of slides about 3 to 4 slides per area. So you could go to one area and then go on multiple slides and work your way through them. The lazy river was probably my fabric part, relaxing and refreshing. They no longer allow rafts on the wave pool, which I think is great, it's much safer that way. We went on a weekday and there was no crowds. The longest we waited for a slide was maybe 10 minutes. I do wish there were more trees and green spaces here, most of the park is cement and canopies, but not too many shaded green spaces. It's also right next to the 99 freeway so pollution and noise is a factor, more green spaces would do a lot for this Waterpark. It's $40 a ticket and a $5 processing fee online, parking is another $5. I think that's a bit steep for a water park, I'm sure it also takes a lot of money to operate a water park. Regardless, it's a nice experience with the family.

I was iffy about coming to the park because of most reviews, but we said let’s check it out anyways. The staff was really friendly. We got a cabana and they provided drink service and you can add a tube rental (double or single) the water wasn’t the cleanest, but if you swim in lake water, you’ll be okay. The park was clean. I didn’t see trash laying around anywhere. Was perfect for my 6 year old son!! My 4 year old daughter also had a lot of fun in the lazy river and kiddie areas. Def would recommended for a nice family outing for the day! Gate and online price was the same, which was nice.

Really fun and amusing! Only thing was that lazy river could be filtered better to maintain clean but at the same time I understand a lot of people get in it. Slides are clean and safe, I haven’t been here in years and I came back today and had so much fun.

The prices weren’t bad! I love the fact you can bring your own food and beverages! You just have to carry them. Suggestion bring a wagon.. the park was clean and my grandson had the best time ever… they need better pricing for season tickets…

Good for the kids, the people working the slides need to train more to be more time efficient. Food is alright. Drinks are okay. Overall the most fun experience I had in the area.

Needs more shaded areas and the dead grass has stickers in them and the prices could be a little less considering the Waterpark looks run down and the cabanas aren't worth what they are charging for them. The place was very clean and the staff is very nice and polite! It was fun but the Waterpark needs a make over with more slides and another kids area with slides as well as shade and grass with no stickers. The price to rent the tubes for the lazy river could be less as well considering you can only use them for the river and wave pool.

I couldn't believe how expensive the entry is and everything else on top of that. Oh and I understand that the guy was only doing his job, however citizens who possess a California Handicap placard are not required to pay for designated parking. The kid said he had to charge us anyway. So we paid but I knew we didn't have to. I'm not going to call the kid's boss for 10 dollars. With that being said and spending 120 for 3 people to go in. I was wondering if you could throw something back at us because I wanted to make some of the best memories with my child, but the plan was only partial. Other than that, the staff was TREMENDOUS COCKSUCKA!!!!!! 👏🏽

5/29/22, Tried to book a cabana, website still not working. Called to ask if I can go reserve in person. Rep said no, cabanas will be given out first come first serve on the day off. Not very secure way to book a spot. She made no effort on finding a feasible solution. So will be skipping Island this yr :(.

This place is awesome! We brought an ice chest with food and drinks because the food and snacks are pricey, but that's cool you can do that. We got a cabana which comes with a drink server! So convenient. The kids had a blast and I just drank next to the water. Stress free and all the employees were so nice and helpful. Totally recommend taking the whole family.

Loved it! Very clean. The Lazy River got a bit too crowded at times w/people walking it or kids playing but the overall experience was good. My adult daughter and I reserved a cabana in the Tide Pool area. When we first checked in a young fellow carried our tubes and escorted us to our cabana. While at our table a young lady came over to tell us when the bar had opened and explained how to order from the menu by scanning the bar code. The waterpark was very crowded but everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and just enjoying themselves. The restrooms were kept immaculate. Impressive w/the amount of people there. There were plenty of nice picnic table areas available for anyone at no charge. The tickets were pricey if you look at a family w/kids. Perhaps family packages/senior discount tickets in the future? Ticket booth was not busy but you want to buy in advance for a bit of savings.

Please be careful when purchasing gazebos online. I tried to purchase a $350 gazebo said it was not available for what ever reason wasn’t able to print anything stating it was reserved . So I went back online purchased 2 separate gazebo @$199 each one for the same day got our reservation printed out. The to have Ashley one of the employees come out to tell me that we had that $350 gazebo reserved in my name. She was very nice and professional to say I could talk to management to see if they would give me credit. Like I explained to her it wasn’t going through when I tried to get it. The whole point was I spent $350 plus another $400 =$750 for a gazebo that I first wanted to accommodate my whole family, which I wasn’t able , I had to buy two separate gazebos. The manager there would not talk to me. How is that you check in everyone once we sat at the gazebo, but tell a person that they have another gazebo reserved 1 hour before you guys close. Very unprofessional. They weren’t willing to give me credit nor a refund for a glitch that was on there site. To top it off knowing that my name was on there list 3 times and nothing was said. Who does that!! If management was doing there job they should have noticed the error and brought it to my attention earlier@11am when they opened not one hour before closing. You’ve lost a faithful customer. I wonder how many other people they do this too.

I didn't care for it. Despite all the water, the park has a dry, parched appearance. The slides were not particularly fun. There was a lot of police activity, which I dislike in a family venue. On the plus side, the 'river' is a pleasant and relaxing attraction. Also the staff seem to be first rate. In the end, I found it to be a disappointment. I doubt if I will return

It was a weekday, so there weren't very many people. Employees were fairly nice and professional. The bathrooms could use an update. The kids had fun, which was the reason for going. During hotter days, I suggest someone in your party getting there early to save a table in the shade. The sun sets towards the parking lot in the summer.

Counting Down to Cold Weather! Excited to return to the Showboat as the weather gets colder. The retractable glass roof gives the illusion of being outdoors while keeping a comfortable 80-degree temperature. A unique experience that we can't wait to enjoy again

Went on a day of good deals so it wasn't pricy. There was great food but a bit of a wait for it. Slides are awesome lines weren't bad. Kids loved it and so did us adults. Was a good environment. I recommend renting a cabana too.

Everything is fine, only some employees of the place lack a customer service course, they have a bitter face and when you ask them something or they don't know how to speak or play, do it with gestures

Steps were very slipper. I slipped and I'm pregnant.😣 They should have grip or resistance on the TILE STEPS or entering any form of water.

What can I say, it's a waterpark. Lots of fun, usually a bit crowded, but that's to be expected. Something for everyone to enjoy. My personal high light are their fries. Amazing! And great price at just $4. Tip: buy your tickets at Costco- you save something like $8-$12(I can't remember) and you also get a meal and/or a drink voucher. Total deal!

4 out of 5 stars because they still have a few things to work out. There is a paper voucher for tube rentals at a water park. They tell you don’t let it get lost or damaged, again a paper voucher at a water park. Also no tubes allowed in the wave pool, maybe that rule is to help with space control. The amount of tables at the location is impressive, plenty of room to sit and eat comfortably. Definitely planning more visits in the coming years. Possible plans to promote events.

Great experience, place is great for tickets and cabana rental. Love the fact you can take your own food and ice chest. No alcohol or glass. My toddler and young and older kids enjoyed it as well as us as parents. Lots of different things to do.

My day at Island Water Park was an absolute delight. The combination of thrilling water rides, a safe and clean environment, and friendly staff make it an ideal destination for families, friends, or anyone looking to have a great time. The park has a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that is infectious, and it's a place where unforgettable memories are made.
