This is a beautiful Park! Very well kept and hardly any dry areas on the field. 🌲🌳🌴 >Disc Golf Course ⛳🥏 $5 to get in. Opens at 7am. You need to wait for gates to open to enter the park. They don't have a map out in front so the course is to the left as you enter. It has it's own designated parking. - 18 holes. All of them are flat. The main attraction are all of the trees in the way. Plenty of shade 😎 All of the holes have a sign on where to locate the cage. - Note! Be sure to download the UDisc app for the course layout 🥏 - If they are maintaining the area, they will work with you if you work with them. Be kind and be patient 👍🏼 - Tony is a cool dude! 🤘🏽 >Park Amenities The park has plenty of shade and benches/grills to use. Be sure to be aware that only the areas with a SIGN are for reservations only. They also have plenty of restroom areas. >If it doesn't have a sign, that is all first come bases. P.S. There are plenty of one way areas. Be careful and be aware! 🛑

This park is so pleasant and green, we went for the disc golf course. Really nice and safe, there were a good amount of people playing the course (it was the weekend) and maybe 3 families having gatherings, birthday parties, grilling. There was also a hug Pomegranate tree with super ripe fruit!

Wish there wasn't so many gopher holes, but other than that Kearney Park is to go to place for all the large open air events like Renaissance fairs the Scottish games (photos shared from from 2022 Scottish Games) the pirate festival to name a few.

Pretty nice. Plenty of space on the weekday. 5 dollars per car so carpool to save money. Restroom is same for many years. So glad they got toilet paper. There are workers keeping the park clean.

It's a pirate 🦜 invasion all weekend. Food and drink and cannons. The smell of gunpowder intoxicating

This park is one of Fresno's true gems. There is a $5.00 admission but no one was attending the booth on our last visit. They need to hook up to a parking app like Woodward Park because they can certainly use the money for upkeep. Lots of space and plenty of benches if you're looking to have a picnic. One of Fresno's top spots for community events.

A true gem of a park in Fresno County! $5.00 park admission fee per car with plenty of free open grassy park space to walk, bike, stroll with your dog, etc, picnic tables, and lots of bathrooms. Make sure you take a tour of the Kearney Historical Society French style mansion built in 1906. Visit the website for details, hours, etc. Didnt see too many homeless and park security is visible. Bring a jacket and picnic lunch and enjoy!

Haven't been in this place for over 20 years, brought back childhood memories. Went to the Scottish Festival. The charge was $20 a person and $10 for the elderly. I was very disappointed of the event. It was like a low budget high school production. I was expecting some traditional Scottish food or history. That will be my last time

Attended the Kearney History Fair for school kids. Very well organized with mostly interactive history. The layout for the stations was very crazy though causing confusion. The vendors were all very knowledgeable about their topics.

Went to the Renaissance fair here. Really had a good time. But they needed more food venues there , some ran out of food really early on. Next time I will wear more comfortable shoes very bumpy grass.

Very big park, aprox 160 acres. Lots of open space. Long, sceenic double-rows of olive trees, and a wide variety of tall trees. The mansion is interesting and beautiful. Lots of roads and parking lots. Two Disc Golf courses. But.. watch out for goatheads, in some areas the grass is gone and goathead plants have overwhelmed the ground.

Went for the Scottish Festival. They were parking people pretty far out, but when I asked to park closer, they were accommodating. It was nicely shaded.

Excellent and knowledgeable tour guide! Beautiful Manson! Needs more souvenirs referring to the mansion and more advertisement as to annual events held at the mansion. We woould be there more if we knew and could plan for it. Visiting the website is good, but while there a flyer or qr code to scan or a card size advertisement would encourage this.

I always love it here. It is a huge park with little to no other people around. There is just one playground that is currently off limits but great place to Rollerblade/skate or ride bikes.

I was there for the Scottish Games Festival with a group. It was my first time. I would go again. Real cool! I'm not Scottish, never been to Scotland and know very little about the culture but it was as subversive an experience as I'll probably get for the money. I'm going to try to make next year...and I'll bring cash next time.

Love that it has mini roads. Very useful for drivers in training and you also get to enjoy the views of the beautiful park. Parking lot need minor cleaning but other than that it's easy to get around and learn how to park!

Well kept and gives a secure feeling. I drive about an hour to get here and it's well worth it. Very peacefully.!

I love this park. It's so big and spacious. It has tons of places to picnic, play, or have events. I wish there was a walking trail but you can just walk around the park easily. I also wish it had more sports grounds like basketball, tennis & volleyball and things like that.

It was a pleasant place to visit, I wish the city would organize more events and maintain the park to a higher standard. Perhaps some modern car shows during the day would be nice.

Plenty of trees. A fun park. Played disc golf, fun course with some challenges

Nice park, but the event that was there needed better organization I would say. Just the things were set up didn't make sense to me. The Great Kearney BBQ Smoke out.

  • 5/5 T T. 1 year ago on Google
Went out their for a BBQ competition, it was great a bunch of trees for shade, overall just a whole lot of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. Just beware the restrooms are not the cleanest, and their is alot of dust so bring some shoes you don't care about.

Such an amazing, historically significant park. The grounds are very well-kept, bathrooms are clean, and it’s a great place to hang out with family, friends or even spend some alone time.
